  1. You would be around their offspring, though (someone else pointed that out when I mentioned not wanting to watch my loved ones die). You'd be the everlasting relative/friend for everyone's kids and grandkids. The thought of being around to help my great grandkids raise THEIR kids is kinda cool.. and it would provide a sense of security for my kids that I would always be around.
  2. Very true. It was just nice to see her thinking about the possibility of having a "very special somepony". She'd be picky about his personality in the long run, but most attractions start as a simple crush.
  3. I could take or leave the first movie.. I watched it and it was entertaining, and my kids had fun pointing out the "human" ponies they recognized. I'm not sure it was good enough to need a sequel, but I'd probably see it (if it's true) just out of curiosity. What I DO want is a full length movie of the normal MLP: FiM cast. And maybe Twilight meeting Flash Sentry in pony form...
  4. I hope so. Their little brother is currently pulling the stuffing out of a teddy bear, so I think I'll hold off on getting any of them plushies until he's outgrown that particular phase, lol... (Gotta love 2-year-olds)
  5. Maybe I can buy MLP stuff "for the kids" for Valentine's day. He'd see right through it, I know... but it's worth a try, right? I can't wait until my daughters are a wee bit older (they're 4 now). When they start understanding MLP a bit more, I can buy them toys because they ask for them, and play with them! I'll be the uber cool MLP mom! Or they'll be disgusted that their mom likes MLP and they'll be "too cool" to like what their mom likes, and... and.. they won't want anything to do with MLP!
  6. Re-watching a lot of season 3.. is it sad that I cry in the last episode during the "true true friend" song? :P

  7. Welcome! Come out and enjoy the sunshine! I'm working on that, too.. my husband likes MLP, but not as much as I do. He "allowed" me to buy a couple toys (Pinkie Pie plushie and a Rainbow Dash figurine), but I have a feeling he'd be against me going all out the way some Bronies/Pegasisters do. I'm trying to get the courage up to ask for MLP things for Valentine's Day, hehe.
  8. Welcome! I'm new too, and still finding my way around the site. So far everyone I've met is super nice.
  9. I never thought of it that way.. only thought of watching my current loved ones age without me. It would be really cool to always be around to help my kids when they become parents, and watch my grand and great grandchildren grow up. I would be the eternal Grammy!
  10. Those are adorable! I'm trying to convince my husband to get me a tablet I can use for drawing on the computer.. The closest thing I've ever used is the uDraw for the wii.. and I'm awful at it lol. I have a drawing I made on computer paper last night, but even if I scan it in to the computer, I've no idea how to color it. Anyway, I love your Derpy. She's so cute!
  11. If I was immortal, I'd figure out a way to spread that to people I loved. If I couldn't spread it, I would hate it. I'd have to watch my husband and kids grow old while I stayed young.. That'd be depressing.
  12. Thank you. I just finished watching Episode 10 from season 4.. is that the last one that's available right now? Not having cable (or really any form of "normal" tv) makes me pretty oblivious to many things. :-p
  13. Thankies. I see myself in Fluttershy a lot.. I have severe social anxiety, so when I'm in public and someone unexpectedly starts trying to make a conversation with me, I tend to freeze up and my words aren't very audible. That's why I like the internet, hehe. SOOO much easier to type back and forth with people I don't know than to talk face to face.
  14. A world without Google... hmmm.. I wouldn't be able to randomly look up things that pop into my head! I still have many memories of trying to do homework with our ancient set of encyclopedias when I was little. My kids will never know the joy of turning brittle pages to find out a tiny tidbit of information on whatever country they have to write about for school. Brony moms are a... Rarity.. here? *snickers* Yeah yeah, I know.. I'm tired and need more coffee so ignore me! I'm excited to be here and can't wait to meet others!
  15. Thankies. I found some of the new episodes on youtube! Woohoo!!
  16. Hi! I'm new here, too! I just watched that documentary today, and it helped me decide to join an online community instead of quietly loving MLP with the husband and kids by ourselves.
  17. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums?: Le Google How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I blame Netflix and my daughters. HI! I'm a stay-at-home mom of three wild and crazy kiddos (twin 4-year-old girls and a 2-year-old boy). Our whole family loves MLP: FiM, though we only have Netflix, so we haven't seen any of the new episodes (and it's driving me absolutely bonkers...). I'd love to make some friends here and maybe get my courage up to start drawing again (I haven't drawn since I was a kid and miss doing it).
