  1. Heh, only diet I need at the moment is "as much food as I can shove in meself" Fast metabolism + stresses made me thin like a stick, lost 15 kg from nothing over few months.
  2. Honestly, I think I would not care so much. Better end the show on high note then wait for it to become bland exercise in self-repetition. Fan works are more than enough.
  3. Cant see the harm in her having a second or two of screen time.
  4. I am not new to the fandom, though I kept a distance from the main community gathering places, preferring small groups and skype. I joined it on 25th october 2011 and has been rolling with it ever since. Probably the only community I as a part of (besides this one) was Ponycraft. Unfortunately since it closed some time ago, I was pretty much alone (with exception of few friends on skype). Generally, I am interested in all kinda things, including (but not limited to) Linux, gaming, programming, art, animation, design (especially interface and game design). Oh right, I am a fan of games like World of Tanks, Hawken, Dota2 and Kerbal Space Program (and much more, you can check my steam profile) nothing else to say really, if you wanna chat - skype/steam me steam: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198052030790/
  5. Lol yeah, it'll be enough at some time I should probably revive my old 433 MHz box, just for lulz
  6. 25th October, 2011, 3:42 PM That was the moment I posted on the EVE Online forums that torrented and watched all the episodes that were out at that date (which was few days before Luna Eclipsed aired) Found the thread about ponies there, and just the very first Pony Anthology was more than enough to convince me that ponies kick some serious arse. That's about it really.
  7. AMD A10 5800K Quad-Core + AMD Radeom HD 7660D 8 GB RAM 500+250 GB drives Windows 8 / Crunchbang Walfdorf (upgraded to Jessie, 3.12 kernel) Simple and minimalist
  8. The file system is different, but I personally find it much easier to use. No separate drive letters, just folders. And symbolic links are just great (though windows can do it too now) Linux has a different philosophy about installing software, and quite frankly, I am sometimes angry that I cant just type something like "soft-install %softwarename" in windows and get it. Everything about installing software (including building from scratch) is most of the times very easy and straightforward. But it does requires you to know what the heck are you doing. And it does renders most of your windows-related skills useless, requiring to learn how to use the system almost from scratch. And I used to be angry like you too, took me some time and experience to really see the power of linux. I ever had only one issue with flash - I cant really install 32-bit flash which is needed from some standalone flash games.
  9. Started from Ubuntu(8 or 7, cant remember), almost immediately followed by Mandriva, then Debian, Gentoo, Arch, SUSE.. Previous system was Elementary OS Using Crunchbang (Debian with few very nice and lightweight bells and whistles) for a while. Love the perfomance I'm getting from it. Though there are few issues that stop me from complete switch. No fully-functional drivers for my sound card, non-working controller drivers, no good game recording and video editing software. And that's pretty much it, rest is fine with me. Especially I love the file system design. And how convenient it is to have fully-functional drop-down terminal Oh, and I'm experimenting with LFS in virtualbox when I have some free time I dont use for other things (i.e. once a month, maybe ) Anyone has some tips about it maybe?
  10. Humor / SciFi Best served combined and subtle. :comeatus:
  11. Kind of offtopic here, but.. reminded me of this brilliant comic, thanks! http://zenpencils.com/comic/91-bill-hicks-its-just-a-ride/
  12. Checking in! Though, MLP is responsible for bringing me close to Who, for 2 reasons. first was opening of the mind - "If I liked MLP, maybe there's lots more underappreciated stuff?" and second - it was streamed on BronyState at the time.
  13. skype: noert2008 Please dont call without asking I'm always happy to IM though
  14. My opinion is - it's almost like going to sleep. Except you never wake up and.. well don't exist anymore.
  15. Chrome, of course. It's just too fast, even with a few essential extensions. Google history sync is awesome too, since I have more than few devices and OS's
  16. As above, get a better mic. Doesnt have to be some uber-pro stuff, just something decent. Cant say anything else, it was too painful to listen to it. I did some LP's and.. well it didnt turned out so good mostly because.. I'm too unfocused to do it longer than a few eps
