  1. Agree with anyone who recommends MLP Arena. I've purchased quite a few ponies there and the users have always been really nice to me. The best thing to do is to make a wishlist in the "Wanted" section and people will come to you with offers a lot of the time. Or you can browse their "For Sale" or "Classifieds" sections.

  2. If you're looking for a pony, I would consider going to MLPArena and asking around. They don't tend to gauge prices unless something is really rare, such as the international or Comic Con exclusives. I always try to shop there first if I'm looking for a particular pony.

A doodle thing I did, Willow Wisp is more of a character than 'me'. Wisp is a crystal pony and I suck at making her look Crystal-ish.

She also bounces around from being a boy or a girl in my head. Though most commonly a girl.

This is me. She's an Earth Pony named Sugar Plum and she's a dink.

And if anyone wants to do doodle trades I'd be more than happy to!

    Do you have a deviantart?

  4. Oh my gosh, really? I thought they'd said that it wasn't canon. I need to look at the gallery.

Do you know if he'll have any lines?

He didn't have any lines in "Three's Company" and that might be the only appearance he has in the season unless Cadence and the Crystal Empire come up again. He's captain of the guard for the Crystal Empire, so he has major responsibilities there and likely won't be seen unless in the company of Cadence or in the palace of the Crystal Empire performing his duties.

  5. Hmm, I don't know. The writers already mentioned that he's not canon. Perhaps if he made a background appearance somewhere or was seen as a guard in the Crystal Empire, that would be satisfactory for me...

He made an appearance in "Three's Company" as Cadence was exiting the train. He was one of the two guards that stood at attention. As the guards reboarded the train, he paused and smiled pleasantly at someone, who I assume was Twilight. Meagan has stated in a twitter response that Equestria Girls is canon to the television series.

  6. Celestia is actually the only one that I'm tempted to buy... but then I remember that their tops are molded to their body, there's no articulation, and they don't have feet. I'm seriously annoyed by it because I really love the Celestia doll as she's one of the better looking dolls from the series but I wouldn't be able to coax myself into shelling out $20 for her if she has no feet and I can't do anything with her other than stare at her or place her on a shelf. :(

  7. I think plushies are awesome. There are some really gorgeous ones out there. I know that I'm not rolling around in the dough, though, so there's no way that I could really put down the money for one at this point. However, if I did, I have a list of people who I would commission and what ponies I'd like. :3

  8. Well, there are MANY unique ponies to choose from. The problem is choosing which ones you want the most. I was lucky enough that I got into collecting the toys pretty early, so I didn't have to deal with things being out of stock with exception to the first two waves of blindbags.

A list of every brushable in G4

A list of every blindbag in G4

A list of all released ponies (fashion style, playsets, etc)

I hope that you find some adorable ponies to buy. :3

  9.

Don't mail me some social justice warrior bullshit either about how UR JUST STEREOTYPIN HIM.

I find it funny how, people will bash and moan and complain (and often rightfully so) about art, be it pornographic or not, which has someone's OC in some sort of romantic situation with a main character, for literally no reason other than the guy wanted his OC in, and usually the OC has extremely obnoxious color design and hair as well.

Also hell, before you bring it up. Don't even try to give me the "but he's like Shining Armor!" argument.

    *applauds*

I totally brought all of these up and was totally going to bring all of these up. By bringing them up before I was, you have intervened on my unapologetic and deity-like worship of Flash Sentry and taught me the error of my ways because before this moment I was not only willing to die for Flash Sentry but also willing to hate every OC that dared pair themselves with my precious Twilight and paint Flash in an incestuous light by comparing him to Shining Armor.

By totally bringing these up before I had a chance to do it myself, you have saved me and shown me the light. How ever will I live with myself for having someone assume my future points in a discussion and be so on target that I am left with nothing but emptiness and loneliness. Because you told me that I was going to bring these up, I must betray my beloved Flash and love no male characters in a show ever because all they do is break my heart when someone on the internet assumes my opinions before I have a chance to speak.

    Oh wait. :P

  10. Here's the source for Meaghan's tweet, confirming Equestria Girls as canon.

Does it need to be sourced for every page of the thread? It was on page four. o_O

Meaghan's tweet and his appearance in a recent episode confirms his place as a canon character. Maybe you didn't like him. Maybe you hated Equestria Girls. Opinions on an MLP forum don't change that Flash is considered part of the MLP universe and has made an appearance in the show now.

My only points have been that Flash is canon and that romance has not only been explored in MLP (Hearts and Hooves Day anyone?) but that Twilight being in a romantic relationship does not take her strong character and automatically make her weak. Unless the relationship ends poorly, there is no need for it to destroy her friendships with the other Mane Six.

And of course Flash needs development. And I'd welcome Lyra development too. Or heck even Pinkie's family. I like character development. For any character. Is that a bad thing?

As for marketing, the entire show is marketing for the toys. If you want to break it down, all of their pets are marketing, the Crystal Empire, Cadence and Shining Armor, the royal wedding, and all of season four are also all marketing tools to sell toys. That's the entire show. The entire show is a marketing tool to sell toys. That's what it always has been. That's what Hasbro does, from MLP to Transformers and GI Joe to the newly acquired Strawberry Shortcake and Littlest Pet Shop toylines. It's all marketing and it's all meant to sell a product. That's how Hasbro operates and how it has always operated.

    Also, who is mad? o_O

  11. I think there's a difference between being social and being an attention seeker. An attention seeker wants only the spotlight on themselves, eagerly seeking out anyone who will stroke their ego by showering them in compliments. When the compliments don't come in very much or have slowed to a trickle, the person will do something to draw more attention to themselves in order to get more compliments. If someone is being social, there is a back-and-forth exchange of social behaviors between two people in equal parts that doesn't revolve around one side.

There's also a difference between posting a selfie and throwing a fit or moping around when someone doesn't give it a "Like" on facebook/tumblr.

The difference is how selfish a person appears to be and how much of a brat in their actions. If you want to post a picture of your new hairdo or even just cause, I don't mind. However, if you send me multiple messages demanding why I didn't give it a heart or thumbs up, then I'm going to get a bit peeved.

  12. I already have Twilight and have been waiting for a time when I can grab Pinkie from 4DE. I hope that they make the rest of the Mane Six and at least the Secondary Six so that I can get a high-quality plushie of each of those characters without needing to pay $300 for each. I know that it's worth it because the plushie makers are excellent at what they do, but those kinds of prices should be reserved for very minor characters (like super background ponies) or for OCs, not the main characters in a show.

  13. I bought a lip balm set at Toys R Us because Derpy was one of the lip balm toppers. The lip balm isn't that bad, actually. I thought it was going to be cruddy, but it's lightly flavored and the flavors are nice. Grape (Rarity), Fluttershy (Pink Lemonade), Mixed Berry (Twilight), Apple (Applejack), Bubblegum (Pinkie Pie), and Cotton Candy (Rainbow Dash). I liked the PInk Lemonade, Apple, and Grape ones best. You can barely taste/smell the Bubblegum and Cotton Candy flavors.

  14.

With pleasure milady, I can give even more than 3 reasons:

    1. Adding a romantic line in the plot will make a huge imbalance in the relationship between mane 6. It's can hurt to their friendship.

    2. It's cartoon about friendship, not about love. Romantic line will destroy the "Harmony" of this cartoon.

    3. Romantic line in kids cartoon never was a good idea (Vin x for example) Chip&Dale was so successful, because they didn't answer the main question: "With whom will stay Gadget".

    4. The target audience is children, and children should be children, they do not need to see a romantic relationship between the painted horses (personally my opinion)

    5. It's would be too brutal action against  all Twilight fans.

    6. Twilight is my waifu so...

    1. It depends on how they handle it. Cadence, while a secondary character and not part of the main ponies, doesn't seem to be swept away from others due to her relationship. She's only separated and lacking time because of the distance from Ponyville to the Crystal Empire and her duties as princess and ruler of that kingdom.
    2. Romance could only break up the friendship of the Mane Six if Twilight and Flash broke up in a bad way, causing the Mane Six to choose sides between the couple. This is the only way in real life that I've ever seen friendships harmed by romantic relationships.
    3. Rescue Rangers was successful because it was a good kid's cartoon with fun, interesting plots and characters with depth. Tale Spin and other cartoons that appeared around that time were also successful for those same reasons. Rescue Rangers wasn't successful purely because they failed to pair Gadget off with one of the male characters. The success achieved by not doing that was creating a strong female character who wasn't just a cardboard cut-out love interest for the two main title characters. Twilight is already a strong character. She can remain a strong character and still be in a romantic relationship. Being in a romantic relationship does not render a female weak.
    4. Many other cartoons show romantic relationships, including children's programming. Technically, MLP has already shown relationships. Rarity had a crush on Blue Blood and wanted to marry him. In an upcoming episode, she again has a crush on a male character. The Cakes are married and have children. Cadence and Shining Armor are also married. Big Mac and Cheerilee were in a "relationship" albeit forced by a love potion. The show has already done romance.
    5. Because the show is required to pander to the people who have crushes on Twilight and the writers forced to bend to their will? I don't see Twilight growing up and becoming involved in a relationship as a problem for fans, unless the relationship is unhealthy. I do not see how this would be a slap in the face for fans or an action against them.
