I cried when until I got to my next period and then some, also because of the fact she was being replaced by a retired, stale waffle cone of a substitute who insisted it was "her class".
So we had to watch movie upon movie about Bach and Mozart and do worksheets for it and other non-video related work. It got to the point where my friends and I had to get to get to the office to tell the principal what choir is really about. Then instead of working harder to find a teacher with correct criteria, she went the lazy route and decided to get someone from the district office to help us with music.
We now work with a man, who is better than the woman who was there before, but still isn't the cream of the crop. It took 2 months to convince him I was a mezzo soprano, not an alto. It made sigh of relief when he finally put with the set of the highest sopranos, where I am supposed to be.
But we still never seem to get work done and everyone has to be treated as if they are a toddler because they can't sing with us and want to talk all day. They have even been addressed about this about 3 times in the past 2 weeks. We barely made out Christmas concert for 2014 because of this issue.
So, I'm sorry if this bored you, but I seriously needed to vent this somewhere other than my friends. So if you read, thanks.
