  1. I wish I could brohoof your words 678459205386734529378 times.
  2. *sigh* It just seems like I'm gonna be endlessly called out for not agreeing 100%. You can do whatever the hell you want. It's just my personal belief that money should be used a little more wisely. Doesn't mean you have to change anything. Do your own thing. I don't care. I was just stating my beliefs on the matter.
  3. You... You're not getting it... I said I'm not trying to stop anyone, I just don't agree with obsession myself. I'm kinda done with repeating myself.
  4. Okay, allow me to repeat: It is just my opinion that I do not agree with obsession. That is all. You can do whatever you want. I just don't agree with obsession. ugh.
  5. Why bother trying to change anyone, it's not like they would anyways. :I But yeah, it's not my business to change people. I am just stating that I do not agree with obsession.
  6. I would like to kindly remind you that this thread can be directed towards people who think obsessing is okay, and also people who disagree with that. I am not telling you that you're wrong, I am saying that I do not agree with obsessing. Did I ever once tell anyone to stop doing what they are doing?
  7. Wow, all it takes is for someone to not be obsessed with ponies and you get ganged up on. Okay. My point, before it was brutally twisted by you people, was that it is OKAY to buy pony merchandise. What I was saying is that I think it's a little wasteful to spend a majority to all of your money on ponies. If you wanna do that, great. It's your money and your life. All I meant was that I don't approve of it, but that does not mean you have to change your ways. That is just what I think. Take it how you will.
  8. Dear, it was an example. And yes, if you have a life, then good on ya. It just makes me sad to see people who have a room-full of ponies, a McDonald's paycheck, and if you don't like ponies, then they will bitch your head off and try to "convert" you. I've seen it far too much. People just spend money they should be saving on ponies, since they don't make that much to begin with...
  9. If you're that rich to where you can burn 5 paychecks on ponies, then great, buy all the ponies you want. I just won't say I approve. But that doesn't mean you can't do it.
  10. Nah man. I don't care for people who think badly of people who like ponies. Only when bronies are being jerks would I understand non-bronies not liking them, but I buy a few plushies and shirts every once in a while, and if the cashier should have a problem with it... They're wrong to think so. I'm giving them money, why should they care what I'm giving them money for?
  11. Yeah man, I get that. There just comes a point when you'll look back and wish you hadn't spent all that money on merchandise. What if the fandom dies? What if a tough situation comes up, and those thousands of dollars spent on ponies could have saved your life, family, or home? I'm not saying it's wrong to buy pony stuff, you guys are twisting my words. I'm just saying that there comes a point when it becomes a bit too much. That maybe you should stop and think about your next purchase before throwing your money at Hasbro or some pony-related thing. Again, it's not WRONG to buy pony things. It just gets ridiculous after a while. Okay? Okay.
  12. Well I'm glad we have it sorted out. It's okay that people have hobbies, but to me, it just seems like investing that much money into ponies is... yeah... wasteful.
  13. It's just what I think on the situation, is it wrong to have an opinion?
  14. Well there is a point when buying all that stuff just becomes obsessive and wasteful.
  15. Something I've found kinda stupid myself is on DeviantArt, there is a certain user who posts these overly in-depth reviews of each episode after they are aired and his reviews always make it to the front page of the site, sitting among the people who have actually worked hard on their pieces and have earned their place on the front page. I find it rather unfair that he writes an angry paragraph and yet he manages to sit among the best, while those who have actually worked hard on their art lost that spot on the front page to him. A lot of bronies I know spend way too much time and money on ponies, from $500 plushies, to fursuits and convention tickets... It's one thing when they have like, one or two plushies and have gone to one con... but when they have a room full of expensive pony merchandise, a full custom fursuit, and go to all the conventions ever... Then I say no to that.
  16. Y'know, to tell the truth, I hardly get any reactions to my admittance of being a brony. Usually people just look at my Pinkie Pie shirt or the pony I might be drawing, nod, say it's cute or whatever, and continue on their merry way. Might be because I'm female. It's handled a little better than men liking the show, from what I've seen. The hardest time I ever have gotten is when my mom sees me doing commissions instead of homework and gets upset, but that's about it... I'm pretty neutral in regards to treatment from others. But if I had to choose the best reactions, I would say that my favorites are when little kids approach me and compliment my Pinkie shirt, telling me they like ponies too. It's awfully cute.
  17. Alright, I'll share. This is Apple Pop, my personal pony that's supposed to represent me, I guess. .3. (Art by me)
