Your biggest wishes for the MLP:FiM series.
Glitterheart replied to AlbaTross's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
To see more of the world of Equestria, which it actually kinda looks like they're getting ready to do. Really, having the characters do a "world tour" adventure of sorts would make it a heck of a lot easier for the show to stay fresh and interesting instead of degenerating into crap after a few more seasons. -

What Would it Take to make you Quit MLP?

The Whole Foods near where I live produces all kinds of weird daily specials that somehow end up being awesome. Like the "breakfast" pizza that's got eggs, bacon, potato, and I think even maple syrup on it... I dunno man, it sounds gross, but it ended up being pretty good until the end. (They seem to make a lot of stuff that tastes great but you can only eat so much before it ceases to be so.) Though my favorite so far was this Thai chicken one, chicken, onions, pineapples, and peppers on it, with sweet chili sauce instead of tomato sauce and it was AWESOME. But I felt a little queasy afterwards, three slices was a little too much.

I think if Hasbro created something *intentionally* aimed at the young adult demographic, there's a good chance it would be terrible like PegaMister said. And hell, their last attempt at creating something for little girls (by which I mean generation 3) didn't seem to turn out too well either. Basically I'm skeptical of Hasbro's ability to produce anything truly worthwhile if they try to force or take direct control* of the franchise. *My understanding was they basically let Lauren Faust rebuild MLP from the ground up and then picked off the parts they didn't want. EDIT: OH, AND EQUESTRIA GIRLS. There's that too.

Whelp, I screwed around on Gaia a few years back. Unfortunately all the private guilds were pretty much dead by then, and the public forums were basically just a Saturday morning cartoon version of 4chan. I was active on another pony forum for a while that was smaller than this one. It was fun for a while, but eventually people got bored and left, and it just gradually slowed down and died off in terms of activity. THIS one is a little intimidating in size, but hopefully won't be dying anytime soon. Now i just need to finally get active on here...

Where have you gotten the most hate for being a Brony?
Glitterheart replied to Clockwork Chaos's topic in Sugarcube Corner
On a major furry website, ironically. Ironic because the stereotype-based brony hate is the exact same shit people have been flinging at furries for decades, and yet most furries seem to fling it at bronies without a second thought. (To be fair, many bronies seem to fling it right back, also unaware of the irony.) -
Personally, I can't stand the taste of alcohol. I've just got some really, really strong natural aversion to it. I can't even eat deserts like tiramisu that contain rum. It's just... bleh.

Things you want everyone to know about your job.
Glitterheart replied to SkyDream's topic in General Discussion
From my old pizza delivery job: -
I think a major reason is that being neutral on an issue is often seen as tacitly endorsing it, i.e., you're not gonna try to stop it from happening, therefore you're okay with it happening. So being neutral often has the same effect, either practically, in appearance, or both, as taking a stance for one side or the other. For the required Godwin-flavored example: "I'm not gonna say whether exterminating the Jews is right or wrong. I'm just gonna stand by and let everyone do their thing." Now apply that to pretty much ANYTHING that somebody feels strongly about, and you'll see why that attitude can piss people off.

Why do so many people humanise Twilight as dark-skinned?
Glitterheart replied to OnHerForehead's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I think it mostly boils down to appearance + personality of the ponies vs. appearance + personality of a given racial image/stereotype inside the beholder's mind. Obviously everyone is going to see each character's "race" differently because of this. Personally, I have a hard time imagining a human Twilight as being white. I think the color + hair makes me see her as being either south Asian or biracial with some black in her. (Which would make sense, given that her brother is obviously a white [wannabe?] surfer dude.) -

Bronies as a religion and my spiritual experiences

Granted. It was the best Chinese in all of history and as a result you are now so far in debt that you need to fake your own death and start over in South America. I wish I could move off this island.

Granted. Unfortunately it's been flash-frozen and is now just a giant chunk of ice exploded out of a shredded plastic bottle. I wish I could banish people to the moon.

So let's say Princess Twilight Sparkle herself appeared to you one day. (In private.) And she made you an offer: Kill one person in the human world, and you get to live the rest of your life in Equestria as a pony. Any pony race (even Alicorn!), customize your body, sex change optional, etc. And you'll be on good terms with Princess Purple Smart, so there's that. Of course, you won't know who or where your target is until after you say yes. And once you say yes, you'll have one month to do the deed. If the person is still alive by then, you'll be spending the rest of your life imprisoned in Tartarus, with no one but an old and bitter Tirek to keep you company. (And Tirek hates everybody.) Or you could say no, and just go on with your regular life as a human. FOOOREEEEVEEER. Or until you die, whichever comes first.
