  1. I never really see any bronies in the, 'wild' but I generally see a bunch every time there's some sort of convention going on.
  2. I think the perception of what is and isn't manly is very subjective and would differ from person to person. It's all a matter of opinion and I personally wouldn't give a hoot if you call me girly or manly.
  3. Both my parents know I like the show and they're all fine with it.
  4. So I think the lay there in shock would best describe my reaction. Firstly, I'd be concerned and would be questioning my sanity because, well, a colourful pony just came out of my screen, what have I been smoking? Afterwards would be acceptance... into the psychiatric ward.
  5. My Dad's reaction was probably my favourite. I had bought the season one box set around the same time I had started watching the show and my Dad had seen me with it. He had quite the quizzical expression on his face. I told him it was for a friends birthday but he just kept staring at me, unconvinced. I folded and he simply laughed at me trying to hide it from him. He's a pretty accepting guy, which really surprised me. I used to keep a lot of stuff from him because I was afraid of how he'd react but ever since I came out as gay he's been so much more supportive of the things I do. As for the bad reactions. I occasionally get the odd stare here and there but most people don't have the balls to say anything directly to me. If they do they generally back away when I defend myself, which I guess they don't expect.
  6. I like Cadence because she's conveys a good message... That even nerds can get a girlfriend.
  7. Pretty much everyone I've told has been okay with it. A few have given me strange looks but in the long run it hasn't ruined any friendships or made the relationship I have with my family awkward or anything.
  8. I think it's amusing watching them fail all the time but it's getting a little repetitive.
  9. Big Macintosh. That big guy is too adorable.
  10. I think the most I've spent at one time was $200 on the welovefine website. Most of that was shipping. It really sucks living in Australia. I don't regret it though.
  11. So I was sitting down during a con, we were tired, and I was holding my Derpy hug-me backpack (which, by the way, holds barely anything) and this guy comes up to us, more specifically me. He looks at my bag then me, shakes his head and is like, "Wtf man, really, ponies?" (Something along those lines, it was a while ago). So I stand up (I'm not exactly short), look him dead in the eye and go, "You got a problem, mate?" He actually looked somewhat scared by me, which was surprising. He then just kind of backed away and went back to doing whatever he was doing. Honestly I don't get why people have to make comments.
  12. I'd like to see more Thunderlane. I love his look.
  13. I thought Cucpakes and Smile HD were awesome. The animation and song choice were perfect.
  14. I'd probably tell Big Mac that he's awesome... then we could stand in an awkward silence.
  15. I liked Trenderhoof. Thought he was adorable fawning over Applejack.
  16. I am more of a fan of real life experiences, even though I'm sure most of them are either exaggerated and could be explained as simple misunderstandings or simply made up. I just find the ones with a realistic tone to them to be the most frightening. Don't get me wrong creepypastas designed to simply be such are still fun to read. Some do try too hard and fall short but it's nice to stumble upon the occasional gem.
  17. Well good luck with that. Everyone seems to be nice here so if there are any problems just ask someone.
  18. I find the best way for me to escape from the world is to chuck on my headphones, play some tunes and read something. It used to be video games but I've started to slowly drift from them... it actually scares me.
  19. I became a fan of the show last year. I kept it to myself for a while until people stated noticing my change in clothing. Most of my friends still question it but aren't too creeped out about it.
  20. Well then, I thank you all for you nice replies and I hope to not become a stagnant account. :3
  21. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rainbow Dash How did you find MLP Forums?: Through the magic of internet. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I've been asking myself the same question for some time now. I really hate questions like this! My mind goes blank, the question is to broad (Technically it's not really a question!) ! If there's anything specific you'd like to know just ask. :3
