  1. It's from Guardians of the Galaxy.

    Look, I'm sorry that it sounded like a rant, it wasn't, I assure you. It just ticked me off that you said it's common sense. Sorry about all of this, and if there is any place to fight, it's not this forum.

    And yeah, I know GotG, I have read many of the comics and love them. The movie was pretty good too.

  2. *She, *Ma'am

    The least you could do is get that right.

    The work was unnecessary, it felt rant-y. It's not my fault you wrote a paragraph about something that is common sense.

    Is "Lord" not a title bore by Men? I'm sorry, I thought that was obvious

    One of the meanest communities with admins out there. Their motto for people who get banned, or suspended is "Love and tolerance is not given, it's earned". What the hell? Am I the only one that thinks that is total BS, and if anyone goes by those standards, they are total jerks? Love and tolerance IS given out, for those who are misunderstood, or hurt, etc. Sometimes a little love and tolerance is what a mean person needs, or a wrong person, because can't we all agree that deep down we are all truly good people? If you want a example from the show, Babs is a great one! So, what happens to someone who isn't a nice person, do we just act like total dicks back to them until they 'earn' our love and respect? That's not how it works, THIS is how it works:

    Treat people the way YOU want to be treated! When all bronies can understand that, we'll be a pure community, though that will never happen.

    The golden rule (do unto others as you would have them do unto you) doesn't work. How would you like to meet a masochist who did unto others as he would have them do unto him? Or a worshipper of the crocodile God who craves the honor of being thrown alive into the pit? Even the Samaritan who started the whole thing... what made him think that the man he found lying on the roadside wanted oil poured on his wounds? What if the man was using those quiet moments to heal himself spiritually, enjoying the challenge of it? Even if the rule was changed to "Do unto others as they want to be done to", we can't know how anyone but ourselves wants to be done to. What the rule means, and how we apply it honestly, is this: "Do unto others as you TRULY feel like doing unto others". Meet a masochist with this rule, and you do not have to flog him with his whip simply because that is what he would want you to do unto him. Nor are you required to throw the worshipper of the crocodiles.

    Your post was otherwise accurate, and I liked it. Everyone may heed what I say, or no one may, it doesn't affect me. I thank you for this opportunity to share my philosophy, and apologize for any mistakes I made.

    Have a good day (if that is what you wish).

  4. You wanna see the dark side of this fandom? You wanna see the most brutal, judgmental bronies out there? Simple. Join the "Bronies/Pegasisters United" page on Facebook. Please, just go take look, you can leave it any time. In the description it pretty much says that it's actually intended for meaner Bronies.

  5. I live in Dublin, Ireland. The city has a surprisingly strong presence of skateboarding (so much so that there's even a movie about skating in Dublin); multiple parks, shops, and skaters of course. Only recently have I realized how lucky I am, for many cities have no parks at all, not one.

    I am wondering what the skate scene is like where YOU live. I amn't really talking about longboards, however. I am referring to the the basic skateboard;

    You do NOT have to skate yourself, (mainly because the chances of another Brony skater finding this thread are minimal) I am simply curious.

    Thanks for your time! ;)

  6. I used to have minor S.A.D. but not really anymore, but sometimes I become EXTREMELY sadistic, so I just avoid people altogether when I'm like that. It seems to be becoming more frequent, though, to the point when I genuinely want to hurt those around me. However, in the eye's of some, I don't have a "bright side". For example, I have a strong hatred for the gardaí (police). Also, I sometimes laugh uncontrollably about everyone is so easily brainwashed into the system.

    I also think people are laughing at me and talking about me a lot. This MIGHT be minor paranoid schizophrenia, but I've no diagnosis.

    One more thing, I often wish nothing had ever existed, often leading me to the borderline of depression. For example, if there was a button that would ultimately kill every lifeform, I wouldn't hesitate to press it.

  7. I completely agree with you, and over here, everyone does. But my country is pretty f***ed up as well. It's corrupt. I'm sure you're aware of the recession in Ireland. The sheer amount of homeless is disturbing. My dad's wages got cut by 2/6ths, not that it was that good in the first place.

  8. I never got any homework.

    I consider myself lucky.

    why not?

    I think school is a complete waste of time. I think people should do first level education, and then have the freedom to drop out. No one should be forced to do anything, but this is useless. Imagine a child spending 14 years of their life studying history/math/languages, and growing up to become a farmer. Also, if I die within the next 6 years, I will have spent practically my whole life working my ass off. It shouldn't be forced upon anyone. Then again, I care little for the advancement of the human race as a whole.

  9. Unfortunately, I haven't because I'm a closet brony. I really wish I could, though. I would if I lived on my own.

    No one knows I'm a brony either, or at least none of my family, but I have 5 blind bag sized figures. I just keep them under my bed in a sock (I know, a sock. of all things!) most of the time.

    I have Thunderlane, Prism Glider, Fluttershy, Fluttershy (rainbow powered) and Derpy Whooves!

    I have spent €5.92 on pony merch.

  10. I've never heard any of their songs.

    Are you sure? You should check out Welcome to paradise or Jesus of Suburbia. I wont link them due to language, but JoS is the 11 minute one on YouTube, just in case you wanna look them up.

  11. Yes.

    Once, I was at some cliffs on the West coast (Ireland), and my dad dared me to lie down and look over the edge (he wasn't being much of a d*ck, cause he was right there and he was half joking anyway). Then, a huge gust of wind blew and I was kind of hanging of the edge but my dad helped me back up. The cliffs were extremely high, and at the bottom were sharp rocks and the sea. It wasn't as quite dramatic as it may sound, though, but everything seemed to slow down when it happened.

  12. I would not, because;

    α. I am not at all noble or selfless in this matter, and don't intend to be.

    b. If I die, everything would cease to exist from my perspective, and if that happens, then ultimately everything would cease to exist.

    c. Living in these rundown, desolate, graffiti-ed slums is my utopia. Waking up, skating for a while, getting chased by people, doing whatever I do. The life I live is all I want.
