It was a rainy evening in ponyville, the pegusi were informed that the weather was supposed to be as such, therefor, had the day off. Twilight and here friends were gathered at the library. "Alright everypony, gather around," Twilight insisted, "I've invented a potion that should allow us to communicate with ponies across Equestria."

"Pardon Twilight," Applejack began, " but how in 'tar nation is that possible?" Twilight began to stare at the potion intently as Rainbow Dash carried the question. "Yeah how, does it trigger into somepony's mind or something?"

Twilight revived her gaze at the potion. "No, telepathy of that matter doesn't exist," she explained as her eyes refocused onto the potion, "and...well...I don't know how it's possible."

"Let's try it!" Pinkie suddenly howled. Fluttershy then mumbled, "Well...um...what if it goes wrong? I mean-"

"She's right, what if it does go wrong, darling?" Rarity interrupted as Fluttershy squeaked, "okay." Finally, Twilight realized how many side effects this could cause, and left to study to judge if it was safe or not, forgetting to bring the potion with her.

Applejack was the first to notice her mistakable, she tried to warn Twilight but before a meep cane out, she was cut off by the noise of a door slamming. Rarity was next to notice, "Oh my, looks like Twilight forgot the potion." Rarity announced as everypony else realized it. "Ooh! Let's try it!" Pinkie Pie suggested. Rainbow Dash agreed, although the other three didn't. "No, Twilight did say it could hurt s'mepony." Applejack reminded. "Yes, it could! that doesn't mean it will." Rainbow explained. "Yeah! and if it doesn't do anything then we can tell Twilight ourselves!" Pinkie explained.

"At s'mepony's risk." Applejack reminded as the door upstairs flew open. Twilight said in a bitter-sweet tone, "Okay, I determined that it's safe bu-"

"THEN LET'S DO THIS!!!" Pinkie screamed

The shards of glass splattered on the floor as it seemed like a secondary basement formed. "No," Twilight panicked, "It actually creates a portal to another world!" This only encouraged Pinkie Pie to jump in. "Wee!" Pinkie screamed as she fell in, but to all of their surprise, gravity seemed to reverse on the other side.

"You need to SEE THIS" the sudden holler of her voice made them all jump. "Pinkie, get back here!" Dash demanded. " Not 'till all of you came over here" Pinkie sang. Applejack hesitated but then explained "If we wanna see her again, then we 'autta jump!" They all jumped in and landed on a pile of fabric of a sort. That saw Pinkie jumping on some squishy platform with a sort of layer on it with joy. "Aww," Fluttershy squeed, "Look at this little guy!" She pointed at a lizard of a sort, but that species was never seen on Equestria before. Twilight stood amazed when suddenly Applejack cheered, "I'll be darned, apple trees!"

Twilight had to fight herself back to her senses. "Okay, we are all amazed by this, well, world bet we really need to-" she gasped at the sight of a missing portal.
