"Stranger than Fanfiction" is my least favorite episode of Season 6.

Flash is an animation program. Maybe the background art was draw with Illustrator perhaps?

I'm just curious, which software has been used to make the backgrounds on the show.

The alternative would be that it could have three segments that are as long as a two-parter on the show. The first segment being vector puppet animated, the second being raster frame-by-frame animated, and the third being CGI animated.

Each segment could have a different mood. One segment could be sadder and another could be darker.

Tengus would be pretty nice.

If there's one kind of full length fanimation that could probably make it, it could be an anthology film consisting of short films by several animators. It would be similar to anthology films like The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight, and Halo Legends. The film could be called "Equestria Chronicles", meaning each segment would take place within Equestria's history. Each segment would be animated with a different animation program, excluding Flash and SFM. Such software would include Toon Boom Harmony (one puppet and one frame by frame), Anime Studio Pro, TVPaint, Digicel Flipbook, OpenToonz, Autodesk Maya, and Blender. Other programs would be used alongside those animation tools. Each segment would look extremely professional in terms of animation quality, and would make any fanimation done in Flash or SFM pale in comparison.

It would be when someone is talking as they're telling a story, like how someone tells a story at a campfire, as in doing it verbally. At pony conventions, it would be a stand-up thing, just like what comedians do. You could call it "verbal fanfictions" if you will.

Oh I don't doubt that one bit. I'm sure it's very well written and it certainly has a fanbase of its own, but at this point there's way too much for me to keep up and there's like weeks worth of stuff. As for bookmarking, I assume that that's for Fimfiction, while the official FoE pages don't have that option, if I'm not mistaken.,

Any one shot fics you would recommend?

I have read Past Sin, and I have enjoyed it until the third to last scene of the final chapter, which imo was the most poorly written scene in the entire fic (again, which hindered the experience for me).

Two years ago, I used to enjoy reading MLP fanfics, but recently it's come to a point that there are so many bad fics or ones that just look uninteresting, I've pretty much lost interest. 95% of the fics I've come across are just simply poorly written, and even some of the better written fics have moments so irritating that it hinders the experience (even Past Sins had one at the very end that it made me dread reading it again). also, the vast majority of fanfics are either anthro, have humans, Equestria Girls, or just some random crossover. There's also fics with chapters that are so long that it takes an hour to read them, and that's why I refuse to read fics like Fallout: Equestria and its sequels/spinoffs.

Would be cool if G5 would use a richer animation style with raster frame-by-frame animation, as opposed to G4's vector puppets.

Is it because of how the Mane 6 were treated? Honestly, I feel that the finale was made to let Starlight save the day for once.

Since there's more than likely going to be a balanced amount of funny, cute, sad, heartwarming, and dark moments. Do you think there could also be a saucy moment in the film?

Umm, where did I say that the movie should be live action? I'm talking about it being animated, set in Equestria.

Still, would be cool if James Cameron was the writer.

I personally believe that the episode was meant to let Starlight shine. It's nice that someone else could do save Equestria for a change instead of Twilight or the Mane 6.

I may be wrong, but when Ballarini was involved, wasn't the film supposed to have live action throughout the majority of the film?

As well as emotional moments.
