  1. The bottom of a forum page isn't a opportune place for a post like that.
  2. I'd love to join this RP, but there's one thing stopping me. I was going to join the old one without mentioning this, but after thinking about it, I changed my mind. My OC is in my signiture, but her backstory is a little outdated. I'm going to save you the time of checking it by just telling you what you need to know for the RP here. She has a son who's age varies between being a newborn to 7 at most. If I want to go off my backstory without completely changing it, her son (Who's name is Zeus) would most likely be a toddler. Any later, she'd be too busy traveling due to the fact that her son eventually takes on a sport that they'd travel a lot. Anna, at one point, was a to-be professor. Her wealthy family put her in a special program when she was 14, a boarding school she studied at until 18, and then transferred to Canterlot College. There she took on a biology major and studied many sciences beside it. A head professor noticed her, took her under his wing, and was planning to make her a professor herself (a high honor, one of the highest at her age). All was good and well with this plan, until she became pregnant. After problems and a disappearance from the father, Anna never suceeded. She went to Ponyville after giving up on her dream, and took on a simple life. Her family gave her plenty, so she had quite a load of wealth herself. Despite this she lived a very modest and humble life, in a decent sized house, raising her baby. So... For this I was thinking that maybe she gets a letter in the mail from the high school, offering her a position? She still had the title as a professor, but she never finished her training. This was a chance for her to actually teach science/biology... But what about her baby? Zeus doesn't have any relatives in Canterlot or Ponyville, and hates to be away from his mom... Anna would have to take the train from Ponyville, and though a short trip, she'd be gone most of the day. So is anyone opposed to the idea of her bringing Zeus to school with her everyday? He's a toddler, who's very low maintence. I liked the idea of him being in the classroom/lab, in a playpen maybe, and the students could study him. It'd make more sense if the class was Pony Anatomy if that was the case, but we could work it out. Anna is a professor still, so I'm sure she'd be extremely desirable to the school. Anna is also the queen at multi-tasking, and a amazing mother. If the baby made a noise, she'd probably be able to pick him up, stick a pacifier in his mouth, and calm him down, all while continuing to lecture without interruption. It's a interesting idea that I think I can get to work. Zeus is a very mellow baby, so I think he wouldn't be too much trouble. If it's too far-fetched, please tell me. I think I can get it to work in a realistic way, but this IS Equestria. To me I have a feeling that ponies are much more laid back about parenting and such, due to the fact that they all live in such a colorful and happy world (like when the Cake's left their 1 month old foals with Pinkie for hours... Obviously if you can trust babies with Pinkie in this world, you can trust one Ina high school environment with his mother). If you guys are okay, I'll probably join, and make apps when possible.
  3. The only thing stopping me is the fact that my OC is mostly based in Ponyville... Though maybe she could be visiting for awhile if I made her and her son older. They could be there for a sailing event since its so close to the water on the canon map.
  4. I'd join this, if it didn't strike me as extremely unstable
  5. I've been on vacation. Can't post much. Anna is out of the picture now though, so all should be good.
  6. Anna looks at the location and nods. She starts flapping her wings. "I'm going. If anyone still wants to come, you know where to find me" Anna the. Takes off into the sky with her newborn, heading far off in the wasteland sky. Who knew when she'd be back, but she was on a mission now.
  7. Uh... I'm really, really, really good at making roleplays, and I could totally be the GM of a reboot
  8. Well, if you take the science into consideration, that Pegasus wings are way too small to actually allow them to fly, then there has to be some sort of magic aspect to them since despite this they still do fly. Also, what about pegasu born in Cloudsdale? They have to be flown around, cloud to cloud, high up in the sky. There's no walkways in Cloudsdale, so how do you take a newborn baby home there? They wrap them in a blanket, probably. Zeus is wrapped tightly in a blanket and is up against Anna's chest, who'd be radiating heat if she was flying hard enough. I think it's pretty legit. Also, sorry about not posting. Between vacation, work, triathlon training, I've had barely enough time for the beloved Internet lol
  9. Eh, Anna would probably need a pegasus. She's flying, that's all, I never said how high. Even if Anna needed to go above the clouds or near them, Zeus is a pegasus himself, and even at this young they're built for such conditions. Flying is faster, making Anna walk would slow her down. She didn't fly before the baby was born because she was pregnant, and her body was hard at work. Eh heh... I'm hoping there no hints for another baby, right? Heh, not only would it be illogical to have another baby, but it kinda takes away from Anna and Zeus.
  10. Anna looks at her baby, he looked so miserable. He pressed his face against her, as if he was trying to hide his eyes from the dim light. Zeus also shivered, and Anna felt bad because of all the things she had, she didn't have a blanket small enough to swaddle him in. She remembered back to the vault and how the newborns were pampered and spoiled. Her mother, the overseer, always said 'Funny enough, having foals here is our main goal! It's a shame I only had one. I have no objection to procreation...' followed by a chuckle. Other people said that they were the future of the Vault and the wasteland, and their home was one of the few places where they could be healthy. Most foals were injected with all sorts of vaccines and medicines, so much so that they'd become immune to almost all wasteland disease. Anna was one of the foals, Zeus was not. "Back when I lived in the vault..." Anna began, "Our foals were treated with vaccines of all sorts to protect them from the harshness of the wasteland. We did so for a reason, infants don't survive easily out here... especially the small and weak ones. If I'd need to leave the group to do this, I would, but I'm thinking that the best choice is to go to this doctor... in this tower... He may not have what my vault had, but he must have something." Anna picked up her sword while still cradling the baby pegasus. He grumbled and squirmed a little bit as she bent down to pick it up. Afterwards she held him closer, wrapping both arms around him. "Zeus is one of the weak ones. Small, frail, and definitely not happy. I'm almost afraid that he's already sick. I have no means of protecting him... Running up with a sword to raiders with a baby? That's a big no, I'd need something concealed that I could fire from a distance in case of attack. I'm not prepared at all to travel, this place probably would have things I could buy to prepare myself... I do have quite a few caps" Anna walked over to the blanket she had been using the in the wagon, she comes back to the group while still holding Zeus. Putting him on her back, the mother wrapped the blanket around herself tightly, then took Zeus by the scruff and also wrapped it around him. It made a makeshift carrier on her chest, supporting the tiny foal quite tightly around her. He could hear her heartbeat and would be warm now. Anna walked away from the group and opened up her wings, looking at Ezkeil. "I don't doubt your abilities, but I do doubt you have the medicines or vaccines a pediatrician has" She then turned to the group "It seems there's trouble ahead, trouble I can't help you with and is a huge risk to me and the baby in such a vulnerable state. I hope we reunite, but I have to do this... it's my duty as a mother, and as Dashia said, new life here in the wasteland is a gift, something that has to be protected. Whoever wants to come with me, can... Any candidates? I'd need directions"
  11. "I've been a mom for about 11 months now" Anna said, looking at the stranger "If I can survive a pregnancy out in the wastes, then he can survive his infancy. Us Belle's are strong ponies, he has blood in his veins that belonged to some very strong ponies... Especially his father" Anna sighed and looked at her baby. So tiny, and not so happy. Maybe he'd feel better once they actually got him to a nurse or professional of some sort. She didn't really know what to do other than stroke him and look at him in awe. This was her baby, and it was hard to believe.
  12. Anna didn't really like the fact that they were holding up the blanket, she could do what she needed to do discreetly without the blanket actually making it more obvious. It was a weird experience, that Anna didn't know she'd get used to easily, but alas... The baby was fed and it was nice to know she didn't have to hunt through the ruins for foal formula. Anna burped the little Zeus and held him over her shoulder as she walked out of the skywagon. The rain seemed to stop, Anna held her newborn for the first time in the burnt air of the wastes. Zeus didn't seem to like it, he kept his face pressed against her while whimpering. He seemed cold, the scrawny newborn shivered with nothing but a diaper and his mom to keep him warm.

  14. As long as this is a good RP, I guess I'll add Anna and her son Zeus. But I'm hoping this is... You know... High quality stuff? More than one line posts and a decent plot
  15. "I am forever in your debt for bringing my son into this world, and if I'm to leave it and we're still on good terms with no other worthy candidates, I would trust you with him then as I do now" Anna says to Dashia with a smile. Anna sighed and looked at... Zeus. That was a name now, and it would take some getting use to calling him that instead of 'the foal'. He still looked at her, and he didn't seem so happy. Maybe it was because he seemed a little... sickly. Seeing as Anna was falling apart up to this point, and was pretty sick herself, it seemed it passed onto the little guy. He was going to need to have a close eye on him, regular feedings to get his weight up, and to make him stronger. There was the advantage of him being so small, all Anna needed to do was nurse him. There was no need to search for food for the baby, she just needed to keep herself in good health so that she could produce milk, and make sure there was no enemies lurking about when he was hungry since it was a pretty lengthy process. "How much trouble can such a little pony cause? I'm sure I'll have no problem with him... I've seen plenty of mother's and their infants in the vault" Anna says. "And now I think I'm going to feed him. Why don't you guys go... I kinda want some privacy... and in a little bit I'll be ready to continue on. I'm feeling much, much better"
  16. Waiting for Dashia, to acknowledge the baby's name/gender and stuff
  17. Anna still didn't look very good, but she'd been through a lot. At least she seemed a lot happier, now that the pregnancy was over. The now mother laid under a blanket to keep warm, protected from the rain, and anything else outside. It had beena pretty long day, and she really wanted to sleep but... Anna didn't mind a vistor. She actually somewhat wished some of the other people in their group would come to see the foal, since it was a big thing. Anna was happy she was alive, birth complications were easily one of the worst ways to go. The idea of dying when you just brought a pony into the world who needed you. The foal was laying against Anna's side on the blanket. So small, so fragile. From the shape of it's muzzle, it was a little colt, with little wings. He was nice and clean now, with a diaper on, and a blue pacifier he was suckling on. It seemed Anna had plenty of supplies she had gathered from her long travels. The foal was a shade of grey, with a full head of brown hair, and the smallest little wings on his back. Everything about him was small, he looked smaller than the typical infant, and a little scrawny. Who could blame him since his mother was malnourished herself. "Okay, I guess..." Anna said with her head laid down next to the baby, her muzzle just gently touching his. He was sleeping, of course, but when Anna nuzzled him, he seemed to squint his eyes at her. Ocean blue eyes, just like mommy. She looked directly back at him, their eyes meeting for the first time. To her he was beautiful. "I think I'll name him Zeus" Anna said
  18. Anyone can interact with Anna... Please, I can't reveal anything about the baby until someone approaches her that didn't help her give birth
  19. Birthing a foal wasn't exactly a very fun experience for Anna either. She didn't yell or scream, knowing that she didn't want to attract any nearby predators. Instead she shoved her head into a pillow and whimpered, even cried herself as it definitely hurt. It only took maybe 15 minutes after they went into the wagon, to bring her baby into the world. The thing was that she was born only a half an hour after her mother's water broke, so it was no surprise it was the same for her child. No father involved, or even family, Anna did it only with 2 ponies she met the day before. Anna held onto her foal, wrapped in a small blanket that she had while still in the wagon covered up herself. She even had diapers, and a pacifier since it was pretty stressful for the baby too... all this. Whoever wanted to see the foal would have to come in the wagon since Anna probably wasn't going to move for awhile.
  20. The weather started to pick up again, they could only out run the rain for so long before it came back, and this time much more powerful. Who could predict any weather in such an unpredictable place? The rain was much harder, soaking down the wreckage and everything around it. Anna was again getting wet, but she didn't mind. She wasn't completely in the cave. The pegasus' tired eyes looked at the wreckage of the skywagon, the interior of it still useable, though it couldn't fly. Anna slowly got up despite the pain, her legs wobbily "The sky wagon..." she said "I want privacy, and to be dry. I'll go in there with... whoever is going to help birth the foal". She now remembered her sword being in there, hopefully it didn't fly out when she did. The sky rumbled as thunder was heard up ahead, it was dark now unfortunately. This would makes things harder than they had to be. Anna fell back on her flank, groaning in pain. She couldn't stand, she was pretty much ready for what was to come.
