  1. Because Fluttershy fans are super biased and don't care about anything she does. She deserved to have Pinkie Pie throw her fears in her face, it was funny and was deserved payback. :)

And here's an example of everything wrong with the fandom! I'm starting to hate Fluttershy so much when people keep defending her! She's done so much wrong and her fans excuse it, but any time someone does something to her, people get butthurt about it!

Well, I'm mad at Flutters and laughed when Pinkie made her cry, because at least Pinkie was funny when she did it!!!

In all seriousness, I've been sick of this fandom ever since people got so offended by that hilarious Pinkie Pie scene. People take the show way too seriously and ruin it, but they're not even consistent with it. Your precious Fluttershy cannot be defended when she does the same thing that you guys went crazy at Pinkie for doing.  :okiedokielokie: (Not accusing everyone of doing it obviously, but man, the ones that did...  >_> )

I'll admit, that that episode was the funniest Pinkie Pie's been for me since season 1.

  2. That's actually a pretty good point. I've actually thought for awhile now that Rainbow Dash did show symptoms of ADD.

Thank you. I can understand that you might not be able to sympathize with something like that because, and just I'm guessing here, it's a situation you just can't relate to, because RD is a character you really don't relate to. That's how it is with any other character, really. If we can't relate to them, it's hard sympathize with them and easier to judge them for their wrongdoing, because we just can't see it see it from their perspective. But that doesn't make them objectively bad characters.

This is why I strongly object to removing any major character from the series. The fact is everyone of the mane 6 is relateable to someone, no matter how bizarre and incomprehensible their behavior and actions may seem, there will always be some people out there who can sympathize with it, because they've been there too. They can see it from their point of view.

Nobody should be should deprived of a character they love just because someone else views them as a bad character. You're entitled to dislike her, but please don't take her away from me.

  3. That's not even the biggest thing I'm holding against her. Far from it. It's how she acted in the last episode and in Testing Testing 1 2 3 that irritated me the most. And I completely fail to see how her behavior was justified in those episodes.

For Testing Testing 1,2,3 people with learning disabilities, like myself (ADD) really sympathized with her struggling. I would argue her attitude for that episode was justifiable in the sense that she honestly couldn't help it. Learning disabilities are not easy to live with, ADD is really hard to control, and all these sudden methods of learning being forced on her was just too overwhelming.

I've felt the same way she did whenever I had to study for something and I just couldn't stay focused no matter what I tried. It's frustrating and I really felt her pain.

I didn't see her attitude as her just trying to be an obnoxious ass. I saw it as someone really struggling with her disability and it really hit home for me.

  4. If I was a judge, I would sentence her to 15 years in a maximum security prison, and give her a lifetime restriction order from Cloudsdale.

And if her lawyer wanted to argue emotional instability, I would have her evaluated by psychiatrists, and if necessary have them perform a prefrontal lobotomy on her.

If it were me in charge of punishing her, and she just explained to me in detail everything she did, I'd laugh uproariously, declare her "Prankster of the Year", give her a big brohoof, a check for a million bits and tell her to get the heck out of my courtroom. And maybe even try to get her number. B)

  5. An absolute gem of an episode. Dash again being one of the most the most entertaining ponies on the show. That crying scene at the end managed to be both utterly heartbreaking and laugh-out loud hilarious at the same time(how is that even possible?). First episode of the season I truly loved.

  6. I kinda dislike Rainbow Dash. Her ego is too big it could possibly explode. But I would blame whoever wrote her that way in this generation of ponies, and I like the old generation version of Rainbow Dash. I found her cute, chic, and graceful.

Feel free to say anything you will, but her personality makes her more like a jerk than an element of loyalty.

I can't really argue the jerk part considering it's an aspect of her character I enjoy and embrace (who wants to watch ponies just be nice all the time anyway?), but it's definitely possible for a jerk to still be loyal.

  7. Pinkie Pie was my first favorite when I started watching the show, and it really was during season 1 where she was at her best. It's when she was her funniest, she had her best episode with Party of One (just edges Pinkie Pride for me), and just made for some of the most enjoyable moments.

Over time she slipped back to my #4 spot of the Mane 6, though it was more due to some of the others starting to appeal to me more rather than me starting to dislike Pinkie (I should point out now that I maintain a certain level of affection for all the Mane 6).

I like Pinkie no matter what she's up to!

Even when she's OOC and being a jerk, she's funny in a weird way.

Pinkie's my fave pony, by the way.......

Right? Some of the best comedy comes from jerkiness! Filli Vanilli was the hardest she'd made me laugh since Party of One.

  8. Uhhhhhh... Maybe that whole "I want it! I need it! I really like her mane!" thing, if only for the fact that, like the 20% cooler line, it's been run into the ground with memes and such. Particularly whenever a new plushie is announced on EQD and everyone keeps using that quote (not to mention get a hundred plus upvotes). Though again, the actual line in the show was actually executed pretty well (same as 20% cooler).

  9. Flawed characters like her are exactly what this show needs. This ain't Barney the Dinosaur's made up fantasy bs after all.

As much as I despise RainbowDash, I can't say that her behavior could influence children that much.

Considering my youngest sister was inspired by her to try out for sports at school, I would hope her influence would be greater. At least IMO.

  10. She'll get some more screen time with RD for sure. I imagine they'll address the flight issue with her as well (still not sure just what direction they'll take).Hopefully we'll see her parents at some point too.

Most important prediction: She will still be best pony.  B)
