  1. That's like saying MLP:FIM is bad because it's full of Bronies.

Not quite. MLP:FiM is one show, with about two or three demographics. Anime is a medium, so it has the potential to appeal to anyone.

Anyways,I kinda agree with Miyazaki. The market is flooded with with crap specifically designed to appeal to otaku, rather than anything specifically designed to be good.

  2. I think this Zoe Quinn thing is not being recognized properly. I mean, if a man was accused of rape, then it goes alllll over the media, and people call him out as being a low life, his life is in jeopardy. But when a female journalist insisting that she voluntarily RAPED somone, no one speaks I'll of it. They all say it's nothing to worry about and its not a big deal.

What are you talking about? Rape has nothing to do with it.

  3. "Bronies" are too broad for me to generalize

"Non-Bronies" can have the potential to be "Anti" or "Pro", but that depends on their tastes. And more importantly, their introduction to the show.

"Anti-Bronies" can either be intolerant jerks, but most of the ones I see are trolls that like to take advantage of the Psycho-Bronies

"Psycho-Bronies" generally can't handle criticism, or differing viewpoints. I think I might hate these guys more than Anti-Bronies.

  4. It's only a problem when they're too critical to the point where they're just ruining the show for themselves/others

So, people can't be honest with their opinions? People can't dislike things, even if it's a natural instinct of theirs? They can't "Ruin" the show for themselves because people might yell at them for destroying the illusion of perfection?

And I don't see how criticism can genuinely "ruin" somebody's enjoyment, aside from somebody criticizing a movie or show while watching it with friends, or if they resorted to personal attacks, or if they pressure other people to agree. It sounds more like people are afraid of confronting their own doubts.
