    The past week has been pretty decent.
     
    I was in a depression from Thursday to Saturday, which pretty much caused me to lost hope in a lot of areas.
    I had detention in school for not finishing an assignment we were given by a substitute teacher.
    I got some more progress done on a PMV.
     
    Now to elaborate on my depression somewhat, I got depressed because something, I forget exactly what, triggered me to doubt myself. When that happens I usually continue to doubt myself progressively more. Now I'm still trying to recover, but for some reason I have, within the past few years lost hope in a lot of areas, I don't know why, but I just don't feel that optimistic about the future, which coexists nicely with my cynical outlook. Maybe It's time to try to adjust my attitude, I'll try rewatching MLP and see if that works.

    Wow, I really suck at titles.
     
    Anyway I figured I would talk in regards as to what makes me feel that I'm inferior to most others or otherwise. Bear with me as I can have difficulty expressing what I am feeling through writing.
    Mind you, I don't always think negatively about myself, but I have a tendency to.
     
    When I think negatively about myself, I may be looking at posts where the user shows a good amount of kindness. This causes me to ask myself "Why aren't you this kind?" A similar process occurs when watching, for example, a PMV that makes excellent use of effects that complements the music used well, or whenever I watch a PMV that uses heavy amounts of motion graphics, sometimes when I am watching a PMV, the question of "If this guy can such an amazing PMV, why can't you?", which in turn causes me to continue feeling bad about myself
     
    Although I am working on controlling how I feel about myself.
    I may or may not edit this later, but for now, that's it.

    It's been a few days since I uploaded my last PMV, and now I'm thinking of entering a hiatus.
    I cannot find a song to do right now, so I figure I will hopefully find one if someone actually suggests one or find it while listening to Celestia Radio or PonyvilleFM. It's been kinda driving me crazy that I haven't been able to find a song, causing me to become stressed. Also haven't feeling the best about myself lately so that may contribute to the stress I am experiencing.
     
    I'll try asking this again, any suggestions for songs?
    I have already used the following songs.
    Aviators - Open Your Eyes (Spectra Remix)
    Foozogz - Together
    SlyphStorm - Castle of Shadows
    Foozogz - Behold
     
    May as well elaborate on what songs I would prefer to use.
    Any songs which contain lyrics, as these songs are probably the easiest to sync clips to. Not songs by artists such as Archie, as some of his songs are way too abstract for me to use.
    Also, to elaborate on the songs with lyrics thing, I would also like a song with a obvious theme.
    If worst comes to worse, I'll make a thread and take whatever I can get from that thread.

    Alrighty, first entry for my blog. For this, I will simply just copy/paste an entry I made on my other blog on ponyfortress2.com. I will use this blog kinda like an online journal.

    So, for those of you who play Minecraft know that a couple months ago, Mojang starting distributing a new version of the Minecraft launcher that automatically downloads the correct version of Java for your system to play Minecraft. However, I have figured out how to use that version of Java as your system-wide version of Java, in case for whatever reason you want to use for example the FTB launcher, or any other 3rd party Minecraft launcher.
     
     
    1. First, you have to set the PATH envorinment variable to whatever your new Java directory is. (If you used the Minecraft installer from the Minecraft site, then the default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin The "_25" portion of the path may change depending on if the version of Mojang Java updates)

    2. Next, you need to re-associate the JAR extension so that .jar files can be open using Mojang Java
     
    To do this, you will need to use a program called Jarfix, which is contained in the zip file attached.
     
    Now, extract the folder to wherever you want and open a command prompt window (you can press Windows Key+R and then type in cmd
     

    Hit "Ok" and now you should get a window that looks like this:

    Now use the 'cd' command to natvigate to the directory where you extracted the zip file from earlier.
    For example if you extracted it to your desktop, you would either type in
    'cd Desktop\Jarfix with test jar and config'
    or
    'cd Desktop' followed by
    'cd Jarfix with test jar and config'
    3. Either way, check to make sure that you are in the correct directory by typing in the 'dir' command, you should see something like this:

    and should contain the files highlighted in yellow.
    4. Now that you are in the correct directory run the command 'jarfix.exe /c"
    A UAC window will pop up, click yes and you should now see a window that looks somewhat like this.

    5. Once this windows appears and you click ok, run the "jartest.jar" file and if everything is working correctly you should see a similar window to this.

    You have now re-configured your system to use Mojang Java, bear in mind that if you want to use third-party Minecraft launchers you will have to download the JAR file for that launcher, not the .exe one to get it to work
    Note: When running the command, don't include the apostrophe.

    Last week, If I remember correctly, wasn't so good for me, in terms of how my mood was.
     
    I was depressed for at least 3 out of the 5 school days of the week, and the weekend wasn't that much better, Lately, I haven't been particularly happy during the course of the day, my mood has been a bit meh.
     
     
    Now to discuss something off-topic from the above
    I am highly concerned in regards to how good the PMVs I make are. I know that there is no set definition of quality for PMVs in general, but still, I can't bring myself to think of my PMVs as anything more then decent. Also I know that when you see or look at a piece of content that you like a lot that it can motivate you to do your best, but for me it doesn't and frankly I don't know why. I really need to start re-watching MLP, maybe that will help get rid of my pessimism

    Figured I would make weekly posts going over the past week
     
    This week, nothing much happened, I had an essay in English, an essay and then a multiple choice test in AP World History.
     
    Finally after a week started working on my latest PMV, only got around 14 more seconds done.
     
    Still kinda worried about a Team Fortress 2 tournament for the Pony Fortress 2 community, of which I'm a part of.
     
    Luckily, this was a, as far as I can remember a largely positive week for me.
     
    Although I have a great urge to talk to a lot of other bronies, working on that.
     
    And I feel like making another blog post answering some questions in regards to how I got into the fandom, why I make PMVs, since I'm not exactly going to get interviewed by PMV Today, and I feel the urge to answer these type of questions.
     
    If anyone has any suggestions for what I should make a blog post about, feel free to tell me.
