What is/are your OCs main weaknesses/imperfections?
High Step replied to J.R.'s topic in Sugarcube Corner
I would have to say my Ponysona: Mental Weaknesses: I do get frustrated at times while trying to help others. I can make mistakes or errors in judgement. Sometimes I try to hard to help others. Fear of failing to help another. Often I give to much of myself and forget to eat. Physical Weaknesses: I am a bit of a Klutz and do tend to fall easily. I have a bad back from scoliosis. ------------------- No being no matter how great or how small is perfect, and I cannot say I am perfect either, but I will try to help and share friendship. Skype me if you wish at Solberg516 -
How many Princess Celestia fans are there on here?
High Step replied to Sazama Ichida's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
As much as poor Celestia gets trampled, I still stand by her, I always will, but I will not even begin to try to explain why, Luna comes up Second in my book, but again, I will make no attempt to explain why, let us just say my reasons are my own. But I also see the Mane Six as very important as well, so, Twighlight would be princess #3 in my book. And finally, Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor. -
Well, not so much becoming a Brony/Pegasister, but more that watching the series has expanded my outlook on many things, I have mentioned before I am a philosopher, and in some ways the series has really opened my eyes to new possiblities and expanded on my philosophical, and spiritual understanding. But then I am the type who looks for deeper meanings in everything, for I do believe there is a reason for everything we do, including becoming a Brony/Pegasister. we are all brothers, we are all sisters. In short? I am proud to be a Brony/Pegasister.

I would have to go with Rainbow Dash, though I am working my way up the ladder, yeah, people know I am a Pegasister/Brony, I no longer fear telling others, I may even start wearing pony merchandise, and have even started to put together a cosplay costume. presently I only have two plushies and some artwork done be a friend who is a Pegasister, but I ecpect to increase my merchandise collection. Pretty good for a Pegasister who has only been in the fandom a couple of months, and yes, I can name the mane six, but still have trouble with thier elements.

Well, to me, Brony and Pegasister are words, a way a Brony just says to another Brony: hey I like the show too. Same with Pegasister, now, if I were to walk up to a Brony or a Pegasister and say: hi! I am a Figgeldyfargledyfoop! Would the understand I am a Pegasister? But I sure as heck do not trumpet the show, if asked I will answer, otherwise I volunteer nothing, I do not even wear merchandise related to the show.

At server close my Pegasus had become an established OC. Some of you may have seen Poetry Motion last weekend as she floated about equestria, and perhaps even met her in-game Daughter (a close friend I made during stress test). Named Beauty Motion, we look forward to our next stress test, and the two Pegasi will once again fly together, mother and daughter.

Who has thought of going to Equestria when they die?

To me, it is all personal choice, but if one were to chart the differances, one would see something like this: 1a) Likes to watch series 1b) Loves the series 2a) Has some merchandise 2b) Has wearable mercandise 3a) Tell others if asked 3b) Tell others unasked It is all choices, I tend to fall into cats 1b, 2a and 3a. Thus I am degree 1.33, or slightly above closet.

From the stanpoint of a former furry, I would have to say I disconnected from the fandom in 2000 due to personal feelings about the fandom. Later becoming a Pegasister, I hold no connections to the furry fandom. I hold no animosity towards those in the furry fandom, it is just no longer part of my life. So fursuit is safely tucked away in the closet and if it comes out at all it is on holloween.

OC is WIP, So far I have a purple-gray pegasus with mane and tail the color of parchment with a dark purple stripe in both. I tend not to go to deeply with parents, and I am not sure this is canon, but her father is a bank manager and her mother is a teller in cloud city, as cloud city Pegasi. She enjoys making new friends, and writing poetry, her cutie mark is a quill and parchment, but over all she loves to fly with her friends, travel and adventure. She is helpful and kind and tries to cheer others up.

How did you view my little pony prior to FIM?
High Step replied to chirox the pony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I tried to watch a few episodes and did find it appealing, but I took it no further due to my situation at home, by the time I felt it would be safe to watch, the season was over, though I did... er... Join the Furry fandom... for a while... 1989-2000, but left due to the fandoms bad rep... I suppose I would fit in to the catagory of closet brony, though I do not typically hide my fandom, neither do I carry/wear anything that shouts "Brony!". I suppose I fit in best with "Casual Brony", I do not display nor do I deny. The other day a waitress at Ihop was discussing with me what series would be best for her daughter, so I responded "My Little Pony". And went on to explain why.

What it really boils down to is there will always be the "I do not like x because of y" people. It is just a normal situation. Admittedly, fandom can be carried to an extreme. It is important to remember, to much of a good thing can make it a bad thing. Heck, I have been guilty of this myself, with my mate causing her to become fed up with it, although I do have two mlp plush toys now, I have decided that it is wise to leave them in my bedroom and if I see that I recorded an episodel, to watch it in my bedroom, and if I desire to view uTube episodes, again, watch them in my bedroom, I am a fan, she is not. I must respect that.
