  1. It really depends on what you're trying to achieve. For a bigger project, I would definitely recommend a C/C++ based engine but for smaller projects, engines based on high-level languages like LUA can be pretty effective. I've already done a few things using this engine in the past : https://love2d.org/ It's super easy to use if you have some LUA knowledge, but anyway, LUA is anything but a hard language.
  2. It looks really amazing! Gosh I don't know how I would react to such a thing in real life.
  3. Half-Life and Portal series among others. But these two sure kept my attention.
  4. As I already posted it somewhere else : I'm gonna be a little more specific here : - Power supply: 1100W Enermax Revolution 85+ (a little bit oversized) - CPU cooling : Noctua NH-U12P (CPU runs on temperatures about 50-60°C on average) - Case: HAF 932 (1st gen) My CPU is overclocked from about 2.6 GHz (stock settings) to 4.00 GHz. I've been using it this way for more than 2-3 years now and I have to say, it's a great way to expand the durability of my current architecture (motherboard, CPU).
  5. Warm and bright summers, cold and dark winters. The transition can be tough sometimes.
  6. The 'number of consoles' question doesn't really makes sense. How about PC only gamers?
  7. Assembled in 2009, upgraded GPU and some other things since then : Gigabyte P55A-UD5 running i5 750 @4.00 GHz, EVGA Nvidia GTX 680, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4, lots of hard drives and OS on OCZ SSD
  8. A "Sheriff Department" sounds like something you'd only find in the US but in some European countries, the same kind of distinction exists between local police and state police but they're both part of police departments.
  9. Physics, mechanics and electronics mostly. I'm also interested in psychology.
  10. Hi! An idea came to my mind recently: how about transforming celestia's "animated mane" into a screensaver? And it happened! It pretty much looks like this, animated indeed: (click for a bigger picture) Find an archive containing the scr file (screensaver file) as well as the swf file of the same animation attached. To install it on Windows, simply do a right click on the scr file and select 'Install'. Have fun! Celestia.zip
  11. The PC version is a disaster. This game had so much potential. It really feels like the worst possible port.
  12. To me, older generations really look like failed anthropomorphism. I can understand that nostalgia makes it possible for some people to actually enjoy them, but really, even the intro looks scary to me. It really feels like there is something wrong.
  13. I'm not sure of what to think about this episode. Probably one the most unexpected ones. It wouldn't say I didn't like it but it left a strange impression. Anyway, season 4 is probably my favorite so it didn't ruin anything to me.
  14. They are a few things I didn't like about this episode. I mean, the part when Rainbow Dash couldn't "get through the crowd"... It obviously didn't make sense considering she flew all over the place minutes ago. I would have expected that kind of stuff at the beginning of season 1 but it clearly lacked of coherence there.
  15. Button Mash, without a doubt. I really enjoyed the fanmade animation.
  16. New to this forum just wanted to say hi! How I found MLP Forums Internet How I became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Watched it! Yeah, I know, I didn't say much.
