  I never believed people were bad at heart. Maybe she was just afraid, afraid of you becoming some sort of outcast to everyone. I don't think she tried to get you to stop to hurt you but to protect you, although I bet now she sees that none of that matters to you and I think she's proud and at the same time sorry for starting this.
