It's 3:15am Lab brag decapitates the infected HO killing him. Lab brag searches the body of the infected HO and finds blood samples, syringes and a map of the building. As Lab brag inspects the map he notices the building has a basement floor, a basement floor nopony has heard of before. The way to enter the basement floor and if it even exists is unknown.

3:05am. Croaks decapitates the infected fire-fighter as he lays on the ground. The infected fire-fighter is now dead. Lab brag shoots as the infected HO, the nails pierced the HO's legs and chips off sides of his skull, injuring, but not killing him.

It's 3:01am The infected HO is able to break through the door of apartment 3B, the infected fire-fighter falls to the ground, licking Greenery's blood off his lips.

It's 2:55am. Lucas walks onto the balcony of 3B and immediately the police on the ground start shooting at him. Bullets fly everywhere one shooting off Lucas' ear and another in his arm. The bullets break all of Greenery's potted plants, creating a mess of the balcony. Lucas runs back into the apartment for safety. A megaphone is heard again, "Do not try to attempt to leave the building, next time we won't miss." 3:00am The bitten fire-fighter begins to twitch as he slowly rises to his feet again. His eye are blood red as he makes eye contact with Greenery and screeches loudly. The bitten fire-fighter charges at Greenery and grabs him. He sinks his teeth into Greenery's neck and rips off a huge chunk. Greenery dies.

It's 2:00am. 2:40am. The bitten fire-fighter begins to feel nervous as he hears the infected HO banging on the door. The bitten fire-fighter turns to Lionheart, "We can't leave! They've got the building surrounded, with helicopters and everything. If we even get too close to the windows they'll shoot us dead." The fire-fighter approaches George Gray, "please help me too. I've been bitten much longer than him, I need help!" The bitten fire-fighter glances at Croaks, his pupils dilated and shaking. The bitten fire-fighter turns and grabbed Croaks, holding him down, "filthy, unclean, filthy, unclean." The fire-fighter kept repeating himself as his shaking becomes more violent and his eyes turn red. Suddenly the fire-fighter pukes blood all over Croak's chest and collapses to the floor. 2:41am A pony shrieking is heard from above.

It's 12:40am. An infected HO attempts to bite Ampyrion and tears a bit of flesh off, but Ampyrion is not infected. The leg the HO bit was a false leg Ampyrion had placed in after the accident with the pegasus brothers. 12:45am. Lionheart has three bullets left, and is safe for now. Suddenly Lionheart's cell phone rings, he answers, it's April Shower (his ex-girlfriend). April Shower is a beautiful mare, but Lionheart ended the relationship a little over a month ago due to her 'stalkerish' qualities. "Oh hey Lionheart! It has been so long! Listen , I just happen to be driving by your building today, and saw some pretty disturbing stuff! The doors are all sealed off, there's like plastic covering the entire building, and there's a swat team outside! Like what the buck is-" the line went dead. 12:47am. As Lab brag was looking for supplies in his apartment he noticed he had a message on his answering machine. Out of curiosity Lab brag played the message. "Good afternoon Labby, it's Aunt Sandy calling. I hate to not tell you this in pony, put you're mother passed over the weekend. I'm sorry." Lab brag's mother had been hospitalized for leukaemia for over a year now, the death was inevitable. 12:50am. As Croaks sits in George's apartment he begins to sweat and shiver at the same time. He tries to get up, but his muscles are sore and he feels weaker than he did before. His strange behaviour is noticed by the other members of the apartment. 12:55am. Lucas is able to push the infected fire-fighter away with him, but as he runs out of the apartment, the dead filly girl he saw earlier is now standing. Blood is dripping from her mouth as she starts screaming and charges at him. Lucas is surrounded. Luckily there is a metal bar next to hit, he has time to kill one.

It's 12:28am. Lucas follows the path of blood up to the dark apartment. He reads "2B" on the door. He approaches the apartment and hears the faint sound of moaning. Lucas calls out and the moaning stops, he hears some quick thumps and screeching. A diseased-looking pony throws himself at him. Blood splashed all over his face.

It's midnight. As Lucas dashed down the hall he tripped, he got up go to his feet to see the corpse of a small filly and a trail of blood leading into an open apartment. 12:20am. Lionheart shot at the infected HO. He shot three times, leaving only four bullets left in the gun. Two of the bullets hit the infect HO in the legs, the shots were enough to get the infected HO off him and cause the infected HO to leave the hall 3. The other bullet Lionheart shot hit Shadow Chaser in the elbow as he entered the hall. 12:21am. All the healthy ponies hear screeching coming from above them. The bitten fire-fighter looks terrified, "can I come take refugee here?" He asked George Gray.

It's 11:40pm. The bitten fire-fighter appears in the hallway, panting and holding his neck. "Don't be alarmed!" He shouted, "I'm bitten, but not infected." The fire-fighter pulled the rag away from his neck, his bite wasn't very deep or fatal. "As long as I don't die, I won't turn." The fire-fighter saw the HO laying on the ground dead with a bite, "he's not going to last long, run while you can!"

Revolver ran across the room to help Lovely stand up. "Are you ok?" he asked. The unicorn had the green goo on her. Revolver then used his hooves to try to take it off. "Ah, this is so nasty, don't worry I'll try to kill it." he told the pink unicorn. Revolver used his magic to speed up his knife and aimed at one of the beetles' head.

It's 11pm. Status: The second fire-fighter drops to the ground, his muscles spazzing in pain. Croaks lunges at the first fire-pony with his axe, the fire-fighter moves at the axe gets stuck in the wooden door. The third fire-fighter begins to hyper ventilate, as he pulls a hand-gun from his pocket. The third fire-fighter glances at his old friends with tears in his eyes. He sticks the gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger. Blood splatters on the wall and onto Croaks and the other fire-fighters. The third fire-fighter's corpse falls next to the bitten fire-fighter, the gun still in his hoof. 11:02pm. Lab Brag gets a page that an unrecognised pony has entered his apartment.

It's 10:55pm. The infected fire-fighter begin breathing heavily, his natural mane colour was a dark blue, now turned to a pale white. His body collapsed. Not giving the ponies time to respond he stood up again, the bleeding from his neck has stopped. He has fangs and his eyes were blood-shot, he charged at the fire-fighter standing in front of the door, biting into his neck. "Get the fuck out of here!!!!" the other fire-fighter ordered.

It's 10:05pm Croaks swung his axe and decapitated Old Lady Eyespot's head, blood splashing on the floor. The fire-fighter took the strip of cloth from Croaks and kept applying pressure to his wound. The fire-fighter looked pale, he had lost a lot of blood. "What are you bucking doing!? Are you bucking crazy!? You're going to jail for murder now!!" The fire-fighter screamed at Croaks, "this isn't bucking on me." The fire-fighter heard Ampyrion's comment about zombies as the two lifted him up and brought him downstairs, "zomponies? Is everyone in this building bucking crazy!? The lady came down with a fever which caused hysteria. Buck." It's 10:15pm The fire-fighter is seduced by Lovely. He swallows and says, "w-we don't really know everything that's happening, except that it's bad. We were told to bring the Old Lady to them, and not get bitten in the process...". The fire-fighter looked past Lovely as he saw Ampyrion and Croaks arrive to the bottom floor. Upon sight of his injured comrade he screamed, "what the buck happened up there! Oh buck she bit you! Oh buck! Oh buck! we're all gonna die! We're all gonna die!" It's 10:20pm The megaphone from outside is heard again, "Hello residents of twenty-three Haybale lane, please stay calm and do not attempt to leave the building. All exits are sealed, and if you attempt to leave we will be forced to take serious and immediate action. In five minutes we will be sending in a Health Official. Again, please stay calm and stay in the building. Thank you for your co-operation."

It's 9:44 pm. Ampyrion swung at Old Lady Eyespot, missing her neck and hitting her chest instead. Old Lady Eyespot fell over, blood squirting from her chest as she stopped breathing. Croaks wrapped a cloth around the fire-fighters neck as he continued screaming in pain. "Bring me to the bucking hospital!!!!" The fire-fighter screamed to the two ponies. It's 10:00pm. Lab brag grabs the walkie-talkie from the fire-fighters and they turn around and laugh. "It is a contact isolation otherwise known as a medical quarantine, they're not letting anyone out. There is no reasoning. They've left us all here to die." The other fire-fighter pushed Lab brag to the ground, "don't cause problems you little punk, or we'll feed you to them first!"

It's 9:41pm Croaks and Ampyrion have both joined the fire fighter and decide to enter the apartment. "Stay behind me, I'm a professional," the fire-fighter ordered as he walked into the apartment. The three ponies entered the apartment, all is dark except some streetlights fluttering in from a window at the end of the hallway. A silhouette of Old Lady Eyespot stood still in the distance, her facial features hidden by darkness. Croaks tripped over a phone laying off the hook, nearly hitting Ampyrion with his axe. "Miss Eyespot? Is everything okay? We've had reports of screaming coming from this apartment. Everything alright?" The fire-fighter slowly approached the petrified pony. Suddenly Old Lady Eyespot took a few steps forward, into the light, blood and flesh dripping from her mouth. The fire-fighter jumped back as Old Lady Eyespot charged at the three ponies, screeching again. The fire-fighter grabbed the deranged lady and wrestled her to the ground. Suddenly her dog attacked him, causing him to lose concentration. The fire fighter killed the dog with his axe, but gave a chance for the old lady to bite into his neck. The fire fighter screamed. It's 9:42pm A frighten Lovely and Lab brag arrive to the bottom floor of the apartment. They see two fire fighters frantically banging on the front doors of the building, sweat running down their faces. "They've locked us in! They've blocked all the entrances!! They've left us to die!" The two remaining fire fighters screamed at the two ponies. It's 9:43pm All the residents of the apartment excluding those on the top floor hear a voice through a megaphone coming from outside. "Hello residents of twenty-three Haybale lane, please do not try to leave the building. This is an emergency protocol, if you attempt to leave we will be force to take serious and immediate action, we will keep you posted with instructions."

"My opinion is that you're a bucking door and should shut the buck up!" Revolver yelled and ran towards the door, it turned around and kicked it with his hind legs.

It's 9:40pm. Greenery and George still on the balcony see a bright red fire truck pull up in front of the building and three fire-fighters run out of the truck and into the building. Some police cars also pull-up, but nopony leaves the vehicles. Lab brag, still waiting outside of George's door is pushed to the ground by the fire-fighters rushing by, they don't even stop to explain as they run up the stairwell. Lovely is hassled out of the stairwell to provide room for the fire-fighters running up the stairs. She yells asking them why they aren't taking the elevator, they shout that the elevator isn't working. Ampyrion, Lionheart, Croaks, Dusk and Shadow Chaser turn to see three fire-fighters running towards them, "get away from the door!" The fire-fighters yell. The residents obey, the first fire-fighter swings an axe, he was carrying, into Old Lady Eyespot's door. He continues to hack at the door until the are able to kick it in. Ampyrion, who was standing a bit to close to the door had wood chips fly at him, cutting his cheek. The first fire-fighter enters, the apartment is pitch black, only the screeching can be heard. The other two fire-fighter get scared and run off. The first fire-fighter shakes his head and turns to the boys (Ampyrion, Lionheart, Croaks, Dusk and Shadow Chaser), "I need two of you to watch my back in here," he holds out two additional axes to be grabbed.

Its 9:30 pm. Shadow and Ampyrion meet outside apartment 11A. The door is locked and the screaming has ceased. Instead there are loud banging noises and the sound of crashing furniture. Suddenly the door of 11B slams open, Priest GoodPony emerges in a rush. He turns and sees a confused Ampyrion and Shawdow standing outside of Old Lady Eyespot's door. Priest GoodPony mutters something to himself as he wipes his dripping face clean. He gives the two ponies a horrified look before dashing down the stair case. Its 9:32 pm. George Gray and Greenery are admiring Greenery's plants on his balcony. Suddenly the two ponies notice Priest GoodPony (from the eleventh) floor run out into the street and into a cab waiting for him, the cab speeds off, leaving only dust behind. The two ponies hear a faint siren in the distance.

It's 9:23pm. The night was silent. Too early for the night-life to begin, too late for the children to be playing outside. A single call was made to Old Lady EyeSpot's apartment from Shadow. Shadow eagerly waited on the phone for an answer, on the fifth ring he heard the line pick-up. Shadow tried to cover his laughter and quietly waited for the "hello?" but there was none, he heard a bang and a faint scratching noise, followed by foot steps blanketed by blood curling screams. Shadow had to pull the phone away from his hear as the line went dead. Whilst Ampyrion was minding his own business, he also was able to hear the screams. Normally he'd shrug them off since it seems like Old Lady Eyespot is always screaming, but these screams were different, and they weren't stopping.

"Are you out of your mind? I am a Sargent, I take orders from no one if they are not my superiors. I'm not going to let a freak control me, if he wants to kill me, let him kill me. I'm not dying like a coward, I still have my honour. He is not going to hear me speak and have me in his desired clothing, like I am his bucking doll". Revolver responded furiously at the two ponies making statement against his 'views'. "I'm going to kill this bastard with my bare hooves, so lets go in that tube and kill every single creature he has." Revolver took some initiative as he looked the discouraged ponies. Revolver walked towards the left tube. "So what are you ponies waiting for, don't you want to live?" he stated.

Twenty-three Haybale lane is an ideal location for young ponies to rent their first apartment and get a taste of living on their own. The night life is usually buzzing in down town Manehattan and the cost of living in the building is incredibly cheap. Despite the size of the building (11 floors; 2 apartments per floor) relations between the ponies are well known: Let's take Old lady Eyespot from 11A; even though they never see her they know she is there. They hear her yelling at her dog all hours of the night, which especially bothers Ampyrion who loses hours of sleep because of it. Speaking of Ampyrion, such a nice young man, who lives alone in apartment 9B. It's a shame he keeps to himself so much, especially after the accident with the pegasus brothers. I'm sure Lucas Shadowcaste and Dusk never meant for anything to happen. The pegasus brothers? Lucas Shawdowcaste and Dusk, nineteen and seventeen, respectively; live together in apartment 7B. Ever since their parents were killed, Lucas hasn't been able to control his younger party-animal of a brother. It seems like every Sunday morning Lucas Shadowcaste awakes to hungover Croaks, Lion heart and Shawdow Chaser asleep on his living room floor. Tensions run high in apartment 6A. Croaks and Lion heart have been inseparable since they were foals, until Lion heart met Shadow Chaser. Lion heart and Croaks never had many friends, since they were both shy, in fact Shadow Chaser was shy at first too (as Croaks recalls). But Shadow Chaser came out of his shell and brought Lion heart with him. Even though Croaks and Lion heart have grown apartment from many a druken nights partying together, Croaks longs for his old friend back and secretly resents his roommate that 'stole' him away. Lab brag is one of the older ponies living in the building,(well, younger than Old Lady Eyespot of course) apartment 5A. Having moved from Fillydelphia only three months ago, Lab brag longs to join the partying young colts on the sixth floor, but spends most of his time trying to get a glance at the beautiful unicorn, Lovely, from the fourth floor. Lovely isn't bothered by the attention she receives from the young colts in the building, she enjoys declining their offers to 'go out' and 'party'. Lovely spends most of her day sun-bathing on her balcony, where she can admire the beautiful flowers growing on the balcony below here. Apartment 3B always has flowers in bloom, even in the winter. It's no surprise Greenery lives there, and another less shocking surprise that he lives alone. Greenery likes to keep to himself and would rather spend time with his plants then bother with the inner social circles of the building. The only outside relation Greenery has is his bi-weekly conversation with George Grey, about growing plants. George Grey is an aspiring doctor that lives alone in apartment 2A. Being busy with school, George Grey doesn't spend a lot of time in his apartment, but tonight he decided to take a break and stay-in. Staying-in, a mistake all these ponies would soon regret. It's 8:43pm and unbeknownst to anypony, the QUARANTINE would be taking place in less than an hour.
