I agree 100%. The problem of religious dogma is that it is static by design. It has no contingency for social evolution and is therefore archaic. The prime argument for religion is that we can not be moral without it. Yet here we are, a completely secular subculture, advocating love, respect, tolerance, egalitarianism, and support;the very morality religions proport. How many wars and atrocities have been committed in the name of that? How many in the name of respecting others? (I can think of only one: the US civil war)
