So if you saw the poniverse panel at Bronycon, you'd see that I like to animate things. Now, the trailer for LSOH wasn't that good I cannot stress that enough but I am capable of doing waaay cooler things and I love doing it (also I didn't animate that trailer entirely myself I had help from some awesome people blah blah blah)
Anyway, I'm currently finishing up my youtube channel trailer thingy which includes me dropping an anvil on some boring Lets Player guy with no personality and then subsequently has me getting hit by a bus and going splat right against the wall. It's about 50 percent finished and I should have it finished tonight I'm guessing but what do I do next?
I love slapstick and Tex Avery is probably my big inspiration for things, so I would preferably do something like that. If you tell me to animate ponies I guess I'll do it but please make it Twilight I don't want to have to use my relatively unfinished other pony puppets I have plzzzzzz
thanks you!

Before I begin lemme just say that I'm actually neutral towards the whole Equestria Girls thing. I say I'm probably not gonna like it, but I say that about pretty much every movie I haven't seen. I might think this is the best movie ever, I might think this is the worst thing ever. We shall see.
Now, here's my beef with everyone. DHX is getting a lot of bad word around now about Equestria Girls. I understand that it is pretty disappointing when you create something that nobody likes, and that having people bad mouth you is also pretty unsettling, but I don't think they should worry. I say this because they are in the entertainment industry and should have expected something like this to happen down the way before they signed up. When I make something I want people to voice their opinions, even if they say that my work is the worst thing ever and that I deserve to be hung. DHX and arguably Hasbro can learn from this as they aren't making the stuff for themselves. In fact, to be honest I really doubt that this is DHX's fault that the movie sounds bad, if anything I'm guessing Hasbro made them make this since this most likely is an advertisement to more toys.
If members are really leaving over this whole thing, I don't know what to think. Once again I can't reiterate how much I think they should have expected this kind of thing happening before they got into the industry. If they're gonna let this hold them down, then I'd personally say this isn't the right job for them. Nobody should let the opinions of others hold them down like this; especially if it's only one flunk when there's a track record for greatness like they have right now.
While I'm at it I might as well just throw this out there. I'm seeing some people say that "oh my god they worked on it for a few years don't hate urhghghg." The Thief and the Cobbler was in development for a grand whopping of 31 years, and I personally think the film had more cons than not. I'm also not the only one who thinks this way as everyone I've talked to thinks the same.
