    Most substances can kill you if you abuse them. The key is to not be an idiot. I don't usually consume energy drinks, but sometimes I work half day shifts starting at 4 am and will drink a Monster Energy or Red Bull to help me cope.

    The lack of parental recognition in this thread is disturbing. Seriously, my mother and father are the two most important people in my life, hands down. They raised me right, made sure I had a good head on my shoulders, guided me when I was confused, picked me up when I fell in life, and they've always been there for me, even after I moved out to live on my own. My mother, in particular, has given me SO much sound advice about surviving on my own and living within my means. I owe so much to them.

    The reason why the early MLP-related musicians became so popular so quickly was simply because they were the first to tackle their craft. Obviously, you have to make good music, but back then there was much, much less "competition" so to speak. You can still make it big today but it'll be much harder since there are so many talented startups popping up seemingly every day.

    Fun fact, you're not supposed to inhale cigar smoke. This is especially true for premium cigars. Any serious cigar aficionado will tell you this, my father being one of them. You draw and hold the smoke in your mouth to absorb the flavors of the cigar before puffing the smoke back out through your mouth, not your nose. Inhaling the cigar smoke into your lungs serves no real purpose. That said, I do not smoke cigarettes nor do I smoke cigars regularly. If the occasion is appropriate I may enjoy a cigar or two along with a nice glass of wine, but I do not smoke cigars as a hobby like my father does.

    You know, it's alright to dislike someone but at least do them the basic kindness of actually knowing why you dislike them, as opposed to just jumping on some bandwagon. Unsurprisingly, there is a whole lot of hate in here for Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie. I personally don't care for his channel myself, but I recognize all of the good Felix has done. I see words like "con artist" being thrown around, and I don't think those people quite understand that "PewDiePie" is nothing more than a character persona and that the person behind that persona, Felix, has actually done a lot of commendable things over the years. He has raised millions of dollars for various charities, for instance. He is also an extremely significant influence in the indie game market. Had it not been for Felix/PewDiePie, Amnesia: The Dark Descent may never have been as popular as it is today. So again, it's fine to dislike someone. Just make sure your reasoning is sound.

    I only really enjoy the silly, nonsensical slice of life type anime. My favorites are probably Chuunibyou, D-Frag!, Mitsudomoe, and Seitokai Yakuindomo.

    I own a few of the Disney Animators' Collection dolls of some of my favorite Disney characters because they are adorable and of a high quality. That's about the only thing I can think of off the top of my head though.

    I've only ever been in one fight in my life, thankfully, and it was during my junior year of high school. During gym, I pegged a kid in the face with a playground ball on accident. Apparently he didn't take too kindly to it because in the locker room after class he tried to start something. Now, I was the starting center of our school's varsity football team, meaning I was a pretty big dude. I had at least 100 lbs on this kid. I wasn't going to indulge him...until he made the dire mistake of throwing the first punch. Now growing up, my father always told me something along the lines of "Son, you should never start a fight...but you better damn well make sure you finish one." That philosophy must have been hard coded into my genetics because before I knew what was happening I had broken his nose with a single punch. And then the fight was over. He went to the nurse and I went about my day as usual. Neither of us were reprimanded because no one in the locker room ever spoke of that incident. So yeah...that happened.

    I'm a closet atheist, in that I choose not to actively identify with other atheists. Religion is not important to me, personally, but I recognize that it is for some, my family included. Far too many atheists I've met in my life come across as condescending and (somewhat ironically) holier-than-thou. There is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing not to believe in a higher power, but there is no reason to speak ill of religion or those who choose to partake of it. Live and let live.

    Hello everyone, I'm 09thRoad (Road for short) and I'll be joining you all this evening. I've been a fan of Friendship is Magic since the beginning, and to this day I remain amazed at how large the fandom has become. I was initially drawn into Friendship is Magic by the colorful and vibrant animation style but I stayed for the quality of writing and appealing humor and wit. My favorite mane six pony is Rarity, but my favorite pony overall is Princess Trollestia Celestia. I enjoy assembling model kits, cooking, gaming (console/PC/tabletop), and spending time with my pet hedgehog, Tansy. Hmm...I guess that's pretty much it for now. I look forward to meeting you all! PS: Bonus banana points to anyone who recognizes the origin of my name.
