Professor's son is going through brain surgery this entire week. Haven't had any classes for two weeks straight because of this.
I really hope his son recovers well otherwise we might be down another professor for next year.

I have two: The dark depths of the ocean abyss. I can't swim, games like SOMA and Subnautica terrify me (the latter I played in VR), and I just really don't like when I can't see the bottom of something. Worms, not snakes, just worms. No idea why, but I have a moderate to severe case of vermiphobia.

Depends how much work I have to get done. Large workload: I stay up for 30 hours. Go to bed the next day around 4pm Moderate workload: Stay up 15 hours. Go to bed around 4am No/small workload: Stay up maybe 12 hours or less. Go to bed normally and sleep for 12 hours.

Programming video games/mods pretty much 10 hours a day because who needs sanity. Exercising right before sleeping. Talking on Discord with people. Playing games if I have the time. Thinking about life and getting an existential crisis. Trying to make other people happy by making things and talking with them, and if it doesn't work then I feel really bummed out about it.

My cat that passed away last week, 10 years old. That combined with university stress, software development being a pain, and my dad not talking to me for months was enough to make me break down at night for a few hours. Seems like it just keeps getting harder. I relish the moments when life is calm now more than ever before. Happy this topic was made, it's nice to let things out once in a while. -
Well, it's been a long 2 years, that's for sure. I'm glad to be back. Hopefully my friends are still around, or followers, whom I consider friends. I've been working on several projects while I was gone but by far the largest one is this: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/released-wip-calamity-mod.44065/ I am the only programmer for everything contained within, besides the biome, which was made by another member. It's been a lot of hard work and we're not even close to being done. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and I'm looking forward to making more friends here

Loneliness scares me most because...when something's making me sad and I don't have anyone to share it with, or I have someone to share it with but they just don't care...I hate that.

No, I don't have anyone special (I'm too stressed out for that right now though).
It's always hard for me to talk to someone without them talking first, but I'll try.
And yeah...it's just hard to understand why anyone wouldn't care. I try to care about everyone else's problems, but when I don't get anything in return...it sucks. It sounds selfish I know, but it's how I feel.

Thank you for your honesty. The only reason I found these forums is because of you honestly, and I made a great many more friends because of that. And I do have a dream, and that dream is to keep my friends happy and create programs that improve people's day to day lives or programs to just let people explore their creative side in general (might make them lazier too, but oh well). Depends on my mood honestly. If I'm depressed or not feeling well then I'm not fully awake for around 30 minutes. But if I'm happy or pissed off about something then I'm fully awake in a flash. EA or Activision?

At first, yes. At least until I hear their explanation as to why they disagreed. But if they disagreed over something I stated that is obviously a fact then I get quite angry Same.

Exactly. I have my Steelseries Rival's sensitivity set up incredibly high because frankly, I can't stand aiming at the speed of a snail. Also, it makes screen browsing quicker which I greatly appreciate (much more noticeable now since I have two monitors). -
