I always thought of it as Twilight being a 'model' character. So it's a children's tv show and there's a moral to most if not all episodes. I always considered her to be the portrayal of the 'desirable' characteristics the people watching the show 'should' aspire to have

I'm not saying this is what I necessarily think, it's just what I consider the writers to have had in mind

I think it was a good idea to use a vote to help decide. It proves to the nation and any doubters that it *is* what most of the people want

But why do alicorns have longer horns than normal unicorns? When my friend was making a felt horn for my Twilight costume she used the alicorn tutorial, which meant it was longer, and I was wondering why this was

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: A friend organised for a group of us to go to MCM London Comic Con and we decided to dress up. Another friend of mine LOVES mlp and was going as Pinkie Pie and I didn't know what to dress up as so she suggested that I went as another pony so I decided to do some research and have been *slightly* obsessed ever since

Basically, the only reason I started watching mlp is because of comic con xD

I've only seen about half of season one though because I'm doing exams at the moment and don't have much time to watching tv or anything apart from revising, tennis coaching and running (I like doing exercise ^-^)

My favourite pony atm is Twilight Sparkle as I dressed up as her (wig and all) and would love some suggestions as to where to get started on the forums!

I think I would choose Applebloom bc (from the few episodes I've seen) she was so accepting of Zecora even though everyone around her was essentially saying she was a witch or something
