  1. Don't tell me that you believe that Hasbro is at fault in this?

You can love the episode, or you can hate the episode. But if you want to put the fault on someone, blame it on the writers and don't pretend that Hasbro is an evil corporation that holds a gun against the head of the writers.

I have no idea how that got there, I whole heartedly agree with you, I'm typing all of this on my phone, so it auto-corrected it in the worst way. D':

    (Edit: OP corrected)

  2. Because it's one of the biggest reasons why I cannot feasibly see her as a main or even recurring character. You cannot possibly tell me that a couple of friendship speeches have completely undone the deep-seated rage that she obviously possesses. If they act like she's entirely, 100% good now, it's simply going to feel forced.

I do not see her reformation being anywhere near complete. Like Discord, it should be a relatively lengthy process, during which Starlight must actually earn the mane six's trust. Because honestly, knowing just how easily she can conceal her rage and surprising lack of empathy, I would certainly not give her my trust unless she first gave me very good reason to believe that she's earned it.

THIS. So much of this. I was really disappointed with the finale for this very reason. It felt lazy, I think that was a very creative choice at all on the writers part, and it was really out of character for starlight.

Most people seemed to really love it though... So I guess whatever floats the ransoms boat...

  3. >_> I rather disliked, or rather was disappointed with this episode ( Something which I very rarely say).

:unamused: I'm getting tired of this trend lately, where literally every, "evil" character ends up getting redeemed. (Ironic I know, I'm all about the  redemption stories/ponies).

-_- It just seems to me they're beating a dead horse, pardon the pun. I'm all for recurring themes and elements, but, this is happening a lot lately. I just feel that there's so many unexplored alternatives that could have be done to resolve the conflict... with out repeating the same lesson again, and again.

:pout: ... I guess also another reason I didn't like this episode is; it pretty much destroyed my headcannon of Sunset Shimmer ever returning to equestria, or at least in a mane6 type of capacity.

    On a positive note:

:pinkie: I really liked the time spell visual effects, and the reappearance of the past season's villains. As always, Daniel Ingram cast his magic and created another awesome song.

  4. Oh jeez, this thread cracks me up (having read through the entire thread).

So many adverse opinions, all with fairly solid and legitimate points. To me, there are people here that take ponies way to seriously, I'm referring to some of the people who have posted. Not the pictures or idea in question. I'm along the lines that: YES, I find it to be a bit creepy. NO, I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with them.

These are opinions, everyone has them. Attacking another pony because they have different views than you is downright mean, people have opinions, getting offended at each other, so sure that their point of view is correct. I don't think that's going to help you understand eachother's point of view. Again, that's my opinion.

It just cracks me up, friendship is magic, not discord.

Man, why this isn't in the debate pit yet, I'll never know.

  5. The sad fact of the matter is traditional raves tend to have club drugs (X, Molly, dmt..ect) heavily associated and easily accessible at them. Of course that doesn't mean you shouldn't/can't go to them, but most raves are typically 5+ hours, so If you do go I'd recommend a combination of some type of  non-drug energy that is easily accessible to the blood stream (energy drinks, coffee...ect). Also, friendship is not typical magic there. Music is magic, music is life.

As to how you'd find out, go to clubs, typically they will have dance nights, if they don't you can ask around. Also, there are good forums out there associated with raves, google is your friend, and you can typically find information about raves happening in your area. A good amount of raves typically happen in warehouses and industrial areas.

Hope I helped answer some questions for you, NY is a big place and it won't be hard for you to find something. Have fun, be safe, and stay hydrated. :)

Also, I'd recommend going with a couple friends, until you get the feel of it, raves are very social events.

(P.S.- you will be tired afterwards, so keep that in mind when planning.)

  6. :) I really hope it does continue. I really don't like how people hope it goes out during it's prime. With the writing the way it is, and viewership, I don't see it getting stale any time soon.

:okiedokielokie: It's like, some of you guys are expecting it to get old, like really not having any confidence in the show's longevity. There are plenty of shows out there that have been running for ages, and what may seem like going down hill is subjective. There are shows out there that have been running for ages and continue to be popular.

:grin2: As long as viewership is at consistent high levels, it wouldn't make sense to end it, for fans or the showrunners.
