  1. The cover I'll never be able to use now. Because of this this guy http://www.fimfiction.net/story/287388/hank-the-cowdog-the-case-of-the-displaced-dog
  2. It used to be a hobby of mine that I would collect and record my dreams. Since they were far more interesting than real life. (I mean seriously my dreams are a hodge-podge of Disney, star wars, superheroes and and the like) I have catalogued well over 1000 of my dreams, and many more I have yet to write down.
  3. First of all... SUBWAY!!!!!!!!! Footlong ham on Italian, 5 pieces of ham, not toasted, bacon, American cheese, extra lettace, pickles, salt & extra pepper, dab of oil, extra vinigar. Or as the people at my local Subway call it... the usual. I have eaten the same thing for over 6 years, and I don't ever plan on stopping. Subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway-subway...... I have a slight obsession.
  4. One semester in college I was so sick I felt like I was swallowing glass and classes were so heavy that I was getting about 6-5 hours of sleep every night. So after most of my finals were over and I had a three day break to study for my last final, I came home early went to bed around 6 in the afternoon and woke up the next day some time between 12 and 1. 18-19 hours! That is my official record. After that I felt much better.
  5. I chose mine because my sister and I started doing things online (writing on fimfiction) and I wanted a name (or rather a double name) that would tell people absolutely nothing about us. Plus it's kind of a private joke since both my sister and I have huge inferiority complexes. We're not famous or anything so the name fits perfectly.
  6. That first one... WOW!!! I could see that in like a Samurai Jack episode. That would be epic. Seriously though the etching on the armor is like Ancient Atlantis Technology (which is awesome), and the glowing blue energy goes really well with the dark grey armor.
  7. Thank you. My sister wrote most of the good stuff though.
  8. Honestly I can't say. Anything that looks like I shouldn't be reading I don't read.
  9. Ok, thanks. Sorry, I'm new to this whole thing.
  10. Hello new guy. I'm also I a new guy. You've been a fan of the show longer than me though.
  11. I'll take a look. Just paste the link in the next post, and I'll let you know what I think.
  12. Done. It's under the heading New Stories. With a comedy tag. I take it you're a writer too. What have you written? If you've posted it here it might be something I'd want to read. Half of the stuff on FimFiction is not stuff I would read, 25% is stuff I could read but don't find interesting, and hidden away in the rest among o.k. stuff are true gems.
  13. Hello... I feel so self-conscious posting something about our book somewhere else. So my sister and I wrote these stories a little while ago and posted them on FimFiction. We wanted to write something we could show our Grandma or little kids (If they were into ponies). The first is a crossover fic with Gilligan's Island (our number one favorite long before MLP) it's the first work we ever wrote and while it might lack a deep plot, we had fun with it and made sure that it was free of errors before we posted it. (My sister and I as so Twilight Sparkle. It must to be PERFECT!) http://www.fimfiction.net/story/239456/ponys-island The second one my sister wrote entirely by herself (I just proofread it). It's a short story based on the Abbott and Costello routine Loafing. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/266149/pinkie-and-rainbow-loafing We made the covers ourselves with images we got online and trust me my sister is a much better artist than me.
  14. I'm doing that right now. Give me a couple minutes.
  15. My sister and I mostly write comedy. However I'm trying to branch out into action/adventure since I love reading those so much on FimFiction.
  16. Thanks a lot, that's what I was looking for.
  17. Ok but can I post a link to my work on FimFiction? I looked through the stuff on Octavia's Hall but I couldn't find anything (maybe I missed it), and everyone there seems to be posting entire stories and not links.
  18. Another thing, sorry. What are these things at the bottom of people's posts. They look like advertisements.
  19. Thanks everybody. I actually have a question about the fanfiction on this site. Is it ok to post a link to another site like FimFiction. Because I really don't want to copy and paste my whole story to this site.
  20. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Twilight Sparkle How did you find MLP Forums?: I was looking for a site to post my FimFiction book covers without them getting cut down to fit the spot. Then I got distracted. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: A little over a year ago I took a summer course at my college. Since I had so much free time I messed around on youtube until I found the video 'Starscream vs. Rainbow Dash Death Battle'. To this day it is the only video by them where I was able to predict the outcome in the beginning. At one point in the video Boomstick said, "This is a pony. A Baby-Horse-Girl-Toy. Why is it so awesome?" That got me thinking. If it is so awesome, and obviously not inappropriate for me (porn, violence, language, graphic stuff) why am I not watching it?I had seen an episode a while earlier (Rarity and Trenderhoof) and decided that it was too girly.Luckily for me I had just read about another site where you can find free videos, Dailymotion. I searched it and Bam! every single episode. (I'm a stickler for watching stuff in order.)So I set out to watch them all with the harebrained delusion that if I ever met a fan of the show I could tell that that I had watched every episode and didn't like it.Guess what happened? Me and my sister are pretty big fans of the show. When I first showed it to her (I discovered it first) she was like "What? Why does my older brother want me to watch this?" But then without even noticing it she started zipping through the episodes on her own. I think she finished them faster than I did. Luckily I was done with them all by then. Anyway when I found the audio version of Anthropology on youtube I messed up an entire weekend of studying to find out how it ended. That's when I learned that the fan works can be just as good (if not better) than the show. My sister and I wrote a book, published it, and boom now we're up to our necks in Pony. My sister's even working on a Twilight plushie for me for Christmas. We're Chatholic, homeschooled, and big fans of the old TV shows like Gilligan's Island, Hogan's Heroes, I Dream of Jeannie, the Andy Griffith Show, and much more. The rest of our family thinks we're nut though. My dad is the only one who's actually watched or seen anything about the show. He's seen about 4 episodes and he's almost done listening to Anthropology. He compared the episodes to the old cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, and asked if he could borrow my iPod to finish Anthropology. I don't mind if people knew I like the show (I'm not that social to begin with) but my sister has a lot of friends she doesn't want to lose, so I keep the fact that I like the show under my hat.

Hey, hopping in here for a sec. Don't mind me.

The * * is just common internet slang for doing an action, especially on forums.

      *hops back out*

  22. When the episode came to this part https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZF7VXRyis8 I literally jumped out of my seat and almost screamed. My sister didn't get the reference until I showed it to her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UZV7PDt8Lw Then I looked around and only a few people have noticed the reference.
  23. I have to say straight off the bat the Rainbow Dash wasn't ever my favorite pony. Yes I liked how cool she was, (RD vs. Starscream was what got me interested in the show in the first place) but she never seemed as nice or as emotionally deep as the rest of the them. Then I watched this episode. I didn't cry. But I finally get why so many people want to hug her. Personally I also liked how if you speed up the scene with Rainbow sneeking around cloudsdale with Tank and only listen to the music, you can almost hear Rainbow Factory in the background music. Don't believe me. Check it out.
