  1. Skype Username: worldoftanksfanatic

    Profile Name is: Azerbaijani

    Profile Picture: Scorpion of MK

Note: If you do send me a contact request, please specify that you are from the MLP forums and include a username. I've been getting unknown contact requests, so that would be greatly appreciated.

I do have a mic and camera. So, if you wish to talk via mic, video and or both, I'm your guy.

I am on most of the time. Although if my Skype Status is listed as "Online", please message me via text chat in advance if you might want to chat for a while. I am in College and I do have other responsibilities I must tend to.

EDIT: For some who might be uncomfortable adding random strangers like myself, I wish to share some general information about myself:

I am indeed 18 years old as my profile states, just for additional transparency. I am somewhat outspoken and may use some foul language in my normal conversation, unless you do not wish for me to use foul language. I do like to talk about many other subjects aside from My Little Pony, so, if you wish to talk about ANYTHING, please, feel free to bring up any topic of conversation. I am more than interested.

And please know, I will in no way ask for personal information if you do not wish to share it. If I do bring up the topic, I would only be so curious as to ask what city or country you might come from, and other nonsense questions of the such, just to become further acquainted. And, by default, I do share where I come from and would be more than happy to share some general information about myself.

Thank you and I hope to meet some new friends and fellow fans of the show!

    Sincerely, TheSwooceMaster

  2. I think I'm the only person who waited until Halloween to watch this episode. Here's everyone else watching the episode several weeks before Halloween, and I'm just like, "Nah fam. I'll wait until Halloween for maximum spooks."

I am also glad I resisted the temptation to watch this one early, due to it's leak, it was much better watching it on Halloween aka Nightmare Night itself.  I'm glad to see a episode focusing on the pony who embodies kindness, and I certainly understand her choice at the end, even in fun, I don't enjoy seeing friends frightened either, I am usually very apologetic even if I startle someone by accident.  So I empathize a great deal with her decision, even if I thought she had an awesome costume.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that the map has sent applejack, rarity, rainbow and pinkie out to places, but other then the episode it first appeared, hasn't sent twilight or fluttershy out yet?  I hope we get a chance to see these too in action before the final.

Oh well. I guess I'm the only one this time. Huaehuaehuae

  3. That little segment where Applejack mentions her parents... That got me right in the feels. This episode was such a roller coaster ride of emotion. I haven't felt this way since I first watched the show! I think this show's just gonna keep getting better and better!

Decided to re-write my thoughts, cause, in all honestly, it was rather strong on the unfair side. I re-watched the episode and it's indeed quite an improvement over Magical Mistery Cure. I still think the CMC mark designs could have been a bit better, but are decent nonetheless and that shield-thing is admittedly cool. Yeah, Diamond Tiara's redemption feels rushed, but she's still a filly after all, who has had to deal with such an awful mom until she was able to stand up to her. I am confident Tiara's change of heart will be quite a potential for many upcoming storylines. And yeah, I'm gonna admit it, seeing our little fillies achieving their longtime goal was full of feels.

Celestia's Country? I don't know what to feel, man. That was clever, funny and so disheartening all at the same time. Ah great, here come the feels again!

  4. Indeed they are, at least the Marine Corp are, from what i've heard. They believe the 92 lacks the stopping power, being 9mm. I believe they're switching back to the 1911 since it's chambered in 45ACP.

Oh man. That's some really awesome news! I can't believe the M1911 is being re-fielded yet again. Now it will have been in service for over a century. Holy cow!

  5. Oh man! This thread sure took off. I am really happy that all of you are taking part and participating in amazing conversation. You guys are one heck of a bunch! And my apologies if I cannot participate in conversation with you, for I have been extremely busy with college work. Again, I am very happy to know that there are people like myself in this forum who share a pleasure for military technologies and firearms. Hoorah, fellas!

Which is not an inevitability unless every single human on the face of the planet suddenly becomes suicidal.

Look up Colonel Stanislav Petrov. All one needs to ever do to restore their faith in the human race's will to live.

Agreed and again, look up the good Colonel Stanislav Petrov for an uplifting tale of just why we are still here to talk about this.

Also, in an attempt to keep this on-topic, another weapon that I have a fondness for is the M2 Browning.

Maybe it's my fondness for turret sections in video games talking, but I always liked mounted weapons and the idea of saying, "well if I MUST use a ballistic weapon I ain't settling for half measures!"

Sorry if that seems like I'm treating your guy's very dangerous and noble jobs as something to make light of, that's not my intention in the slightest.

An excellent choice in heavy machine guns! The M2 is definitely a formidable piece of weaponry. What's even more amazing is its range: 4.5 miles. The M2 also achieved a record-setting long distance kill. The killshot was achieved by Gunnery Sargent Carlos Hatchcock of the USMC's 1st Marine Division in the Vietnam war. The range of the killshot was 2,500 yards (2,286 meters)

Oh my god! That was hilarious! Nice meme! Also, very nice list of combat weaponry/vehicles. I see you appreciate Russian/Soviet technology?

  6. I think the hardest that I've ever laughed was when I played a game of Cards Against Humanity with some friends on Skype. Some of the questions and answers my friends and I got made me crack up laughing so hard, that I almost could barely breathe.

Cards Against Humanity is a great game. I appreciate offensive humor, and this game definitely had me busting my gut laughing!

  7. I understand now.  :rarity:

By the way, you have 210 posts in this thread in total, in case you were wondering.

Again, I'm not sure I know how to respond to that. So, have a harsh, jarring picture of pollution in India.

Then my plan worketh yet again. Have a picture of my own.

  8. In a time where Russia and America hate for one another is at its highest since the first Cold War I dought that would work. We're living in the second Cold War my friend, ever since Russia's little stunt in the Ukraine. Expect military stockpiling and proxy wars in other countries. Also expect "propaganda" to be at an all time high, this is what fools people into fighting for the big wigs.

This is sadly our world until it's blown up by ourselves.

I can say tensions are at an all time high, but I do sincerely hope we don't see any direct conflict. Our service men and women have fought for over a decade in the god-forsaken hellhole known as the Middle East. We don't need them fighting a full-scale conflict, especially with the likes of Russia.

Although I can assure you that even when shit hits the fan, nuclear war will still remain far on the horizon. For one reason, M.A.D

  9. Well I don't really have a favourite since it all tends to be misused by criminal regimes. But I do appreciate those railguns the yanks are developing to replace conventional cannons on their warships. No more handling of hazardous explosive munitions, just a big lump of metal.

There's also the lasers. Brilliant for point defence to eliminate incoming ordinance. Although apparently they now want to equip all their fighters with lasers by 2020. One has to wonder if that includes the $1T joke known as the F-35.

It is quite an amazing feat that the railgun is coming to fruition in reality. I mean, the weapon is so simple in its overall characteristics: magnetic coils are placed inside a long barrel, which pull the projectile WAY past the speed of sound, and the kinetic forces do the rest.

And don't get me started on the F-35. What in the world was the Air Force thinking?! Well already have a stealth multirole fighter in service. Why do we need another? Nothing more than a waste of American tax dollars and defense spending.

  10. This is really good :) Will you be writing more?

Well, I'm hoping to see if the overall appeal is positive. If more people enjoy the story, I'll continue it. But even then, if the reaction isn't as positive as I'd like it to be, I will probably write out the rest of the story.

  11. Hello, folks. I wish to present to you a Prologue to my fan fiction, The Unknown Past. I am hoping to expand on the story, but I wanted to see if it was an endeavor worth pursuing. Leave your comments below.

(I also have a Microsoft Word version attached)

    The Unknown Past

    Prologue:

Long ago, in the kingdom known as Equestria, there lived a myriad of creatures, and there were an assortment of locales for which these creatures dwelled. One creature that existed plentiful in the land were ponies. These ponies were under the caring rule of the Sister Princesses, Celestia and Luna. These two sisters not only ruled over the land, but were also responsible for the raising of the moon and sun. Their role in the lives of the Ponies that dwelled in the land was, in most cases, detrimental. Although, these two ruling Alicorns weren’t the only beings with considerable power and might. There were also beings who would oppose their rule; beings with an evil intent, bent on overthrowing their rule and enslaving the ponies of Equestria. But, as there existed the forces of good and evil, there was one force, which represented a balance, between the absolutes. This force, was known as Anon.

Anon was a deity that once walked freely in the land of Equestria and beyond. Anon was known as a God, and in his own right, he was, for it was due to his origin race. He was, human. Being that it was the work of the human mind that created the immersive world for which ponykind dwelled, he was a being of absolute power. He could reshape the entire universe in his image, mold and create matter, and manipulate the laws of physics and science. And with accordance with his ability to create matter, he also took the liberty of spawning machines and creations which came from the world of humanity, mostly war vehicles which mesmerized the ponies with their capabilities. Although, it was because of his comprehensive and differentiated mind, that he himself put a limit on his power. He did not exceed his boundaries, for the fact that he was a protectorate, a human guardian, who loved and cared for the ponies of the kingdom, and for the Sister Princesses. It was through this love, that he dare not attempt to exert his absolute power, for he did not wish to put himself anywhere above the Princesses’ power.

Even with Anon’s nobility, respect and servitude towards the Princesses, there was one thing that troubled the sisters the most: being that he was a God, he possessed a power so unequal to theirs that if he was to ever endanger the existence of Equestria, there could be no way to stop him. Even with the Princesses’ combined power and all the magical forces that existed, they couldn’t stop him, for magic was only a fraction of the power he possessed. He was made of absolute power and energy. He had no weakness, nor could any magical or supernatural force stop him. Another thing that troubled them on an equal level, was his method of staving off the evil that threatened Equestria. Because he was human, he was bred in the art of warfare, as in the world of humanity, the human race had been at constant war. The major advances of civilization were because of war. And of course, with warfare, comes death. As with the Princesses being the representation of the Absolute good, they did not believe in the death of their enemies, but rather imprisonment or reform. Anon on the other hand, used tactics, which involved direct confrontations and massive battles using his aforementioned military vehicles and weaponry, and this of course would result in the death of any and all enemies that fought against Equestria. The sisters objected to his methods, but never spoke out, for fear that he would lash out, and cause destruction in opposition of their decision or rhetoric.

This issue was coming to the boiling point, as the ponyfolk of Equestria lived in terror and fear, not because of what Anon did, but what he could do. Even though he only caused death and destruction to his enemies, ponies everywhere were terrified at what he could do to them. He unknowingly imposed a state of constant fear amongst these wonderful little ponies and the land beyond Equestria.

After a short time, the sisters confronted Anon on this issue. After hearing what he had unknowingly caused amongst the ponies and creatures of Equestria, Anon knew what had to be done, for he in his mind saw that if he truly loved these innocent ponies, he had to remove himself as the Guardian of Equestria, for then, he knew that the kingdom and its inhabitants would live in peace, and not in constant fear. It was in this moment, he announced his decision to the sisters. He would leave Equestria, and no longer act as the sole protector of Equestria. In his departure, he said his goodbyes, wishing peace and love upon the kingdom. Then, he used his godlike ability to then remove himself from the minds of the inhabitants of the kingdom and beyond. He reset the historical timeline of Equestria, and in doing so, erased himself from Equestria’s quintessential existence. As the timeline was reset, he left in his absence a magical power which would soon be discovered by the Princesses at a later date, to help defend Equestria in times of great need: the Elements of Harmony. In due time, this power will come to defend Equestria in its darkest hours as you may already know. Although should a time arise in the future, if Anon is to ever return, he set in the future timeline a catalyst event which would bring back remembrance of him, so that all who do not know of him, will learn of who he was. Then, after his work was done, he then looked upon the great kingdom, and then turned away as he left into the vastness of the cosmos…

“Shall the days of your kingdom be filled with wonder and discovery. For I know, that without me, the best is yet to come…”
