  1. "That's true, but I still got my eye on them. I got a feeling in my gut that they're up to something," Lightning replied as he sat in the booth with Cloud. He saw caught the eye of one of them, and received a nasty grin from him. Lightning shook his head and looked back at Cloud. "Should we call the waiter or will he be- oh wait here he comes,"Lightning said as young Earth pony stallion came walking toward the table. "Hey how are you doing, can I take your order?" He said brightly to the two Pegasi.
  2. Hi, sorry to waste your time if you're closed, but if not, could I make a request. I am in the process of making an OC and I need a better quality picture of her. Here she is, and here's her cutie mark. I know that the quality isn't very good. I'm need to get more art supplies. All I had were crayons for certain colors. Again, I'm sorry to bother you if you have too many requests, but if you have the opportunity to look at my OC I would be very grateful. Thanks!
  3. Lightning looked down at where Cloud had landed and quickly followed. He landed next to her, looked up at the sign, and then proceeded to open the open and enter the diner. Upon entering the place he took in his surroundings. He took note of all the ponies inside the diner, especially the group of gruff, unfriendly looking ponies. Not trusting what he saw, he turned to Cloud. "Those ponies look like the kind of guys who think they're tough and aren't hesitant to use violence to try and prove it. It's probably best to avoid them while we're here," he whispered.
  4. "Yeah, sure! Do you know where the nearest place is?" While Lightning would've accepted anything, he had a particular love for hayburgers. At this point, he felt like his stomach was eating itself, so he was pretty excited to get to the food. He looked to see if there were any hayburger restaurants in sight.
  5. Lightning flew up high, and looped back down to a lower altitude. He loved the feeling of absolute freedom that came with Having wings, and often exercised his wings in order to savor the moment. As he did so, he considered Cloud Chaser's question. Now that he thought about it he wasn't really the kind of pony to turn down any meal. "Me? I'd eat pretty much anything. I'm not picky at all! What were you thinking?" he replied as he flew back toward Cloud.
  6. Lightning reacted the same way he always reacted to thought of food. "What are we waiting for?! Let's go!" he shouted with excitement. This has been a pretty good day so far, Lighting thought to himself as he put his stuff back in his saddlebag and got ready to take off.
  7. "Hey, that's cool. That's an important thing to have. A lot of ponies think that the tools and gadgets make the fighter, relying on magic and cheap tricks. But, those can fail you sometimes, and it ends up being a fighters undoing. Being able to fight means you can rely on yourself. I'm sure you'll do great!" After he had finished talking, Lightning Blade noticed for the first time how much his stomach was growling. He had packed a few snacks, but he had eaten them all on the train ride to Bangcolt. "Hey, do you happen to know where I can be some food. I haven't eaten all night and I'm starving!"
  8. "it's kinda difficult to say. I don't know everything about the sword yet. I do know that whenever I use it, my energy and emotions seem to flow through it, making it more powerful. It also seems to react violently to thieves..." Lightning pause before chuckling to himself. "Like for example, a group of diamond dog "bandits" that once thought it would be a good idea to try to take it. I don't think they ever be stealing again any time soon." Lightning then thought that it would probably be polite to ask Cloud about her, as so far they had just been talking about him and his sword."But, how about you? Did you bring anything for the arena? Anything besides your wings, that is?"
  9. "I always thought that, too! I wondered at first if this could be the same one. I haven't figured anything out though so far...most ponies in Trottingham believe that legend is just, well, a legend. I still don't know where it came from yet. I do know, though, that it has gotten my out of some very tough situations before. I trust it." Lightning looked up and said,"It's like another part of myself. Almost like it's alive..."
  10. "Back where I lived she was sort of a local legend. The fact that she had performed a Sonic Rainboom at such a young age is not really easy to ignore, especially by the town that she was born in." Lightning looked back at his sword. "Oh this? This is my greatest treasure. I got it as a gift from my grandpa. He said that he purchased it at a shop that specializes in magical objects. For some reason, nopony could use it, nopony could even pull it out of its scabbard. Nopony, that is, until my grandpa gave it to me." Lightning looked back up. "My dad used to tell me that sometimes weapons choose their master, and in this case I suppose he was absolutely right. This sword is very precious to me."
  11. "You must be good to have made it here! Me, I consider myself a decent flyer, but I wouldn't say it's my talent." Lightning looked at the sword on his saddlebag and smiled. "I work as a guard in the castle back at Canterlot. Of all the guards there, I am the best fighter. However, not a whole lot of circumstances pop up where I'd need these skills at the castle, so I came here to test my abilities..." Lightning put his sword back in the saddlebag. He paused, and then asked excitedly, "Wait, did you say Rainbow Dash?"
  12. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Cloud," Lightning replied with a smile. He was glad to finally find somepony who was new to the city too. The fact that she had found and apartment already made his predicament seem a little less impossible. Above all, he was glad to have somepony he could talk to. Adventure is always more fun with friends... "So, are you here in Bangcolt for the arena, too?"
  13. @@Unicorncob, "Mine too!" Lightning said. "in fact, I just arrived a few hours ago! I was looking around the city to find a place to stay for the night." Lightning paused, realizing he hadn't even introduced himself. "My name's Lightning Blade, by the way, but most people just call me Lightning. What's your name?"
  14. @@Unicorncob, Lightning Blade was flying around Bangcolt, still attempting to find a suitable place to stay. He couldn't believe that it was his first day (well night, really) in the city and he was already lost. He was hoping to find an apartment or motel where he could stay for the night, when he almost crashed into a purple mare with a spiky white mane. "Ah, not again!" he shouted. "I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!"
  15. As Lightning Blade got situated into a new seat, he began to feel as if he were forgetting something important. He thought for a moment, and began to realize that he was a new stallion in an unfamiliar city, and he had no idea where he was going to stay. Quickly, Lightning stood up, and left the arena, flying high above the streets and examined the city. It was no Canterlot, but Bangcolt was a nice looking city. He felt that he could get used to staying here. Hovering above the buildings, Lightning began looking for a place to stay...
  16. “Alright, this is more like it!” Lightning shouted as the battle started getting interesting. Lightning usually had a really short attention span, and he could barely sit still for more than a couple minutes (making sentry duty hell for him). However, there were things that captivated his attention, and arena battles were one of them. This was until one of the fighters seemed to release a black cloud of smoke, obstructing his view. “Oh, come on!” He yelled in frustration. Looking around the arena, he began to search for a clearer place occasionally knocking into other ponies in the process. Ignoring their protests, Lightning prodded his way to the other side of the stands.
  17. Lightning Blade hurried as fast as he could to find the registration booth, until he finally found the table to get himself initiated. He signed his name and raced inside the arena building to see if he had missed the battle. Fortunately, he wasn't too late. He saw that there were two fighters, a stallion clad in black, and a Pegasus mare who was attempting to spur him into action. Watching the battle closely Lightning realized something. "Wait a second. These two aren't even trying! The Pegasus seems to be toying with the other pony, but he's acting like she isn't even a threat!" As Lightning continued to watch the battle, he couldn't help but think that t least one of the fighters were hiding something...
  18. @@J.R., "Oh, don't worry about me. I've been training my whole life. I know what I'm doing! I'd better get going though. See ya around, Electron Wave Storm!" With that, Lightning took off and headed toward the arena. He was thinking about the pony he had almost trampled getting out of the train... Though he hadn't explicitly said so, Lightning figured he must be a fighter. He wondered if he would ever have to face him in the ring one day. Lightning soon made it to the arena building. He could hear a lot of noise from the inside. "There must be a battle happening right now. I'd better get signed up! Now where was that front desk again? Electron said it should be around here..."
  19. @@J.R., "Huh?" Lightning Blade hovered over the city, his eyes aimed towards the center. He scanned the buildings until he found what he was looking for. "Oh, right..." Lightning lowered himself to the ground and looked back at the annoyed-looking pony. "Thanks for your help! I better get going! My name is Lightning Blade! What's yours?"
  20. Lightning was ecstatic to have finally made it to Bangcolt! Looking around, he took in his surroundings, flying around excitedly like a housefly. Suddenly, though, a thought crossed his mind. "Oh, I should probably make sure I have everything," Lightning said as he landed on the ground and checked inside his saddle bag. Everything seemed to be there. He then looked at the scabbard he always kept on his back. In it was his own special sword, his greatest treasure. With it he had had many crazy adventures, and in the arena it would be his greatest ally. It was no ordinary sword, but what made it so special? Well...that was for him to know, and for his opponents to find out... ---------------- @@J.R., Lightning Blade realized that he had almost trampled somepony to death trying to get out of the train Embarrassed, Lightning turned to face this new pony. "Whoops, sorry about that, bro. I didn't see you there. I'm kinda in a hurry...Actually do you think you can help me? I'm looking for the arena. I, uh, kinda forgot to bring a map..."
  21. Lightning Blade stared outside of the window of the train taking him to his destination, his hoof rhythmically tapping on the floor. He was barely able to contain his excitement. And who could blame him? He was headed to the Bangcolt Arena! His years of training were finally going to prove themselves. Lightning usually worked as a member of the Royal Guard, under the rank of Lieutenant. His father was a retired guard as well, and he had taught Lightning how to use a sword. However, in a land of peace and prosperity, the opportunity to show such skills were quite limited. Lightning decided to participate in Bangcolt in order to show that his training had paid off. As the train stopped in Bangcolt station, Lightning felt his heart skip a beat. "The moment's almost here! I'll make you proud, Dad!" Lightning thought to himself. He raced out of the train and headed out into the unknown...
  22. Finally got my computer working. Now I don't have to use my tablet for everything! XD

  23. Youtube has a right to put advertisements on a website that is free to the public, so I don't think they should be removed. Even if these ads are so annoying that you want to claw your own eyes out.
  24. My damn computer won't start. I get the loading screen and nothing else, it just stays there...

  25. I would think that the female version of me would be much better looking with clearer skin and more manageable hair. She would also be a better musician and artist, would be nerdy but cool, and would not be afraid of talking to other people and speaking her mind. So basically the person that I wish I was except female.
