  1. I don't really like this episode. The writer just make Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Applejack out of character and the ending didn't make any sense. Why are they chilling in the beach chairs while drinking lemon tea when they can cheer on for the crusaders?

Another thing I didn't like about the ending. It was too predictable and ruins the fun to continue to watch.

    5/10

  2. Spoilers

A promo should give a ruff plot of the thing it is promoting and hide any major characters that are not expected

This promo gave me a ton of the plot and revealed a major character who the unobservant wouldn't expect

You are right, my hype train is gone now T_T

  3. Well I find thus not as good as the last Discord episode though, but it is still enjoyable. I have to say, this season has been doing great on the morals, this "not to exclude your friends" really hits me,because I have did it a few times before...

  4. Because Spike. He's part of the pack, too. A very important part, in fact. Some of the Mane 6 wouldn't even be alive without him. Looking at you, Apple Horse. Heck, the mane 6 wouldn't even be mane 6, without him, encouraging Twi to befriend them, when Twi wanted to ignore Sunbutt's encouragement to. Twi would still be in Lesson Zero freak out mode, without him.

Spike was Twilight's first friend long before the other 5, so how are people classifying the ponies by, to determine there's just a mane 6, instead of a mane 7? The EoH, which are no longrr relevant, and that Spike displays all on his own?

No, you are wrong. Without Rainbow Dash, Spike wouldn't be alive now. Because of her first Sonic Rainboom, the Mane 6 was made. And also, Spike isn't a mane, so he cannot be in the Mane 6, sadly.

  5.

This wasn't a great episode but it was OK.  The part I found most interesting was the effect on the timing of the episodes.

Hasbro says the 1st 3 seasons were 1 year (IMO, tight but physically possible).  Season 4 has to take place between the events of Magical Mystery Cure (S3 E13) & Twilight's Kingdom (S4 E25 & E26).

So, Friendship Is Magic (pilot) takes place June 20-22 in call it year 1.  Princess Twilight is June 19-22 (? Discord messed w time, it's hard to say) of year 2. So, if Scaremaster is Oct 31, year 2 then allowing for Castle, Sweet Castle (probably a day or 2 after the pilot), & The Cutie Map, Twilight's Kingdom has to be no later than early October, year 2

Thus, Scaremaster proves Season 4 has to be between the last week of June, year 2 & the 1st or 2nd week of October, year 2.  To me, this is the greatest value of the episode (Many people have told me I'm weird)

    I totally agree with you.

However, even if what I'm about to say will make someone angry, are episodes like this that almost make me hate Rainbow Dash.

I agree too. Rainbow Dash slightly acted like a jerk in this episode.

  6. Dont have a screenshot or pic of it, but those flowers from Rainbow dash's nightmare from "Do princess dream of magic sheep" creeped me out too. There's just something about things that are supposed to be nice and cute on harmless that when you spin them into something scary or creepy, it makes me very unsettled.
