    @Steel Accord I didn't... Actually say anything of the sort of "malicious conquest". If anything, it's simply a complaint that the ponies always seem to be the very best at what they do, which I feel will make the children that watch the show feel like anything average and below excellence would mean they're not good enough?

    My main oc actually used to be a brown pegasus with white designs on him, but i felt that the markings didn't fit the show very much and i wanted to give him a bit of a crutch so I took his wings away >:3

    To be honest I agree with everything the OP said. I understand everything needing to be in an 'all is right with the world' state when the show draws to a close, but they have to do a lot of stomping on the rest of the characters to come out on top.

    Curious as to why everyone keeps spitting that Rarity would be the worst princess? Rainbow Dash takes that spot, duh.

    If a cereal bowl is too hard to clean then eating anything that requires further dishes than simply a spoon or a fork is too hard. The logic is flawed from the ground up.

    No need to be embarrassed! Everyone has to learn how to draw, no one starts off good, so no one is going to judge you based on skill. If you prefer to send it to me though I would be happy to help you from there. >w<

    I much prefer the first style, it's bolder with more prominant colors- It would be even better if you colored the lineart instead of leaving it black. It's always a lovely effect.

    I would suggest showing how to do other angles and tilts as well, and not just a single angle, but other than that it's a nice little easy shortcut!

    I think I was about 6ish years old when I started drawing, and the first things I ever drew were all dinosaurs. xD I loved the movies Jurassic park and The Land Before Time SO much!

    Firealpaca is the best FREE one, since one of your criteria is free. A lot of people are suggesting Paintool Sai but it is NOT free. There's a free trial, but that's not the same as free. Although, if you're looking for an INCREDIBLE program at a good price, I would suggest Manga Studio whenever they have their huge flash sales. It's an awesome program and once i tried it i never went back to Sai.

    Super nice work! I think the over-detailing on the wings will probably leave you sore during the digital work though. Try to simplify them more!
