  1. Can you describe one beautiful moment in life?

Batty: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

  2. This is a question for any of you who are writers.  As a writer myself, I typically have a special routine I go through before writing where I get hopped up on soda or Monster and listen to an epic Spotify playlist I put together to get me in the proper mood to start writing.  Do any of you guys have a special routine for when you're getting ready to write?

I usually write before I go to bed. Some call this a bad habit, but it is what I do. I remember seeing a psychology article on the subject of motivation. One interesting take away from it was that more often than not, you find the motivation to do something, after you start doing it.

  3. What advice can you give to me as a possible,e writer and getting into fan fiction writing ?

I'm responding in more of a general sense for this one. The key to learning how to write is to read. Read a lot. Read until your eyes bleed. The more familiar you are with books, the easier it will be to write them.

  4. OK, this is my last question.

What was your reaction when you received all this support and love from the community.

Thanks for allowing me to take part and thank you Silly FIlly Studios for making me happy.

On my end, shock and awe.

    Thanks for being here.

  5.

This is a question that any of you can feel free to answer.  What sort of fan artwork in the MLP community do all of you enjoy in particular?  Any artists in particular, or genres of art, be it music, animation, visual art pieces, or fanfiction?  :)

There's another loaded question. I can't name specific artists that I like from the fandom other than ones everyone already knows. I know there's a great animator named FluttershyTheKind on DeviantArt that could use a lot more love. Tsitira360, a few others.

As for fiction, I admit I spend a bit more time than is healthy on fimfic. I have an account there and I maintain a bit of a library of the ones I like. My name on there is the same as it is here. For the uninitiated, if you're looking for a fun little fic, I recommend checking out anything by Georg.

  6. For someone who wants to get into animation or VA work, what sort of computer programs, equipment, advice, anything would you guys recommend.

Flash or ToonBoom for animation. They're expensive, but in order to break in, you have spend the money. For voice over, Audacity is a good starting point. It's free, and high quality. If you look around there are a few plugins that work well with it and expand its capabilities. For equipment, the Blue Yeti is a good starting point for hobbyists, and that will run you about a hundred bucks. Keep in mind though, that while the Yeti is good, any XLR mic is better. XLR mics require additional peripherals to be used however, (an audio interface for one). If you really want an in depth explanation, look up how to be an Online Voice Actor on youtube. You'll find plenty of tutorials and suggestions there.

Who is your favorite princess  :comeatus:

And how hard is it to keep replying?

That sounds like a loaded question. I'm going with Big Mac.

I admit I'm having trouble keeping up.

  7. So what were you all doing before SFS and how have those skills evolved up until this point in time?

I was sitting in a dead-end job from which I have since moved on. Now I'm doing more stuff than I know how to keep track of. I've learned how to draw, I'm writing again, I'm even working with sound design and music composition, which has been a dream of mine for the last few years. Oh, and I also made a lot of awesome friends.

  8. What's the greatest thing a fan has done for you?

    To all members.

Support. I remember after we released Snowdrop I was sitting with Zed and Taylor at Everfree Northwest. We were wearing our staff shirts and one of the people recognized us. That made my day. Fast forward a few years, and I'm still blown away when people come all the way out to the conventions we're invited to and say hello.

  9. Will there be more sequels to thing like: "Doughnut Steel", and "Snowdrop"?  :derp:

I don't have any plans to write another Donut Steel. I feel that the gag is done at this point. Any further expansions on that series would either be grasping at straws, or very redundant.

  10. Hey, Silly Filly Studios.

First, I wanna say I'm a big fan of your work.

My question is how long does it take to complete one of your animated films?

It depends on the project size and quality. For shorts like the Lumiose street it can range anywhere from a few weeks to a month. For things like Starsign, years.

  11. How did you get into MLP:FiM :)

I got into MLP during season 2 through osmosis. While screwing around on Facebook I noticed a few close friends of mine were constantly posting memes of the different characters doing things that I thought were funny. Eventually, I got interested enough in the series that I decided to give it a go. Here I am, a few years later.

What type of Anime shows (if any) do you guys enjoy?

I like the more realistic styled Anime shows. Classics like Cowboy Bebop (of course), GiTS, anything that has a good coherent story. Currently I'm addicted to One Punch Man.

    What is your favorite ponies?

It's a toss up between pegasi and unicorns. Leaning toward pegasi. Or did you mean specific characters?

  12. How did each of you get involved in Silly Filly Studios and what do you do?

Ho, jeez where to start... I got involved through back when the team was still working on project Saturation. I was brought on as a voice actor to play the role of the grizzled guard captain, whose only real descriptor was, and I quote, "Walter Beck". I auditioned in some big shenanigan where a whole bunch of people sent in auditions and posted them to Youtube, and mine was selected. Eventually we moved on to form SFS and I was grandfathered in.

Since then I've expanded my role in SFS. On top of voice over work I also do:

    -Script Editing

    -Script writing

    -Audio editing (sometimes)

    -Storyboarding

    and a few other things.

I play a role in our upcoming short, and I'm super stoked to stut my stuff.

I'm also the person responsible for the abomination known as Donut Steel. I wrote both scripts and played the titular character. Go me.
