  1. Long walks/hikes in natural places. Helps brighten my mood, unfogs the mind, and become refocused; at least, most of the time.
  2. Nope. As long as you're keeping your calories to a reasonable level and are eating a variety of protein sources you'll be fine.
  3. Start in a cold skillet and heat over med-high till done, flipping once. Best brand? Petit Jean.
  4. I hold no allegiance to any particular faith; however, I have been spending a little time this spring studying Paganism. To state that it's misunderstood and misrepresented in the wider public sphere would be an understatement. May your thread bloom with the turning of the Wheel. Did you do anything special for Beltane?
  5. The Hyatt does not offer a complementary breakfast with regular rooms (like most premium hotels). Regency Club level rooms include a private breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, and snacks area; their new Business Plan rooms include one breakfast buffet voucher per room.
  6. With how noise isolated the panel rooms are from the rest of the hotel, it shouldn't be an issue. I'm minorly concerned with possible noise at Registration; along with Autographs and the medium sized panel room (Hall of Magic) on the atrium level. Hyatt has added an additional pane of soundproofing glass to all guest rooms facing the atrium. Therefore, noise shouldn't be an issue if you're staying on-site in an atrium facing room and like to sleep in. Speaking of breakfast and food and such, Knuckles Sports Bar has taken food duties from the atrium restaurant. Here's their website's posted hours: 6:00am-12:00am | All day offerings. Freshly prepared on-the-go items 6:30am-11:00am | Breakfast Buffet, Chef’s choice of seasonal offerings 5:00pm-10:00pm | Dinner, ala carte menu Bar Menu available between 2:00pm and 12:00am Happy hour is from 5pm- 7pm. http://sanfranciscoairport.hyatt.com/en/hotel/dining/KnucklesHistoricalSportsBar.html The Hyatt will have a traveling food cart selling grab-and-go lunch items again this year on-site.
  7. Please be aware that earlier thread posts are about Thursday parties that happened at BABS 2015! Check yer dates, Harry.
  8. Poniverse (MLP Forums) does have an official meetup on BABSCon's schedule this year. Once we've heard back from the guest of honor agents that our schedule is acceptable, I'll drop the place and time for the meetup here. Of course, just because there's an official one doesn't mean people can't meetup during other times.
  9. 2 eggs + egg whites strip of turkey bacon 5 grain hot cereal /w added cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice assorted fruit coffee
  10. Find a reason (or several) why you're getting/staying fit that's going to motivate you. Maybe it's something big being able to hike all day in the mountains or swim for hours in the sea. Or it could be as simple as having the strength and energy to trounce day-to-day life. Find a reason to get started and keep with it until it becomes a habit. As an aside, you don't need to go to a gym to get fit. There's a plethora of exercises you can do with a minimum amount of equipment.
  11. This was the last PoNYCon.
  12. With the number of people who could potentially be at BABS from the forums perhaps we could consider a meet-up during the con.
  13. Hello, Sans! Boring is a relative term. Besides, if you're enjoying it (and it's legal), why should you care if everyone else thinks it's lame? Welcome! Not in my case; I didn't find my stride until I turned 31 a few years ago. My 20's were the full subscription versus a few issues.
  14. Currently 34. Single, no children. Professionally I'm a media specialist after teaching secondary science (7th-12th grade) for the past 4 years; earned my M.Ed. last summer. I'd be down for a meet-up at BABSCon.
  15. We have a multitude of events, activities, and panels in the works for BABSCon 2016. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised once we release the schedule pre-con.
  16. People responding/reacting without comprehending what was said.
  17. Unbudgeted income goes toward accelerating repayment of debts. I should be credit card debt free by next August.
  18. Greatest thing that happened to me in 2015? Completing my masters degree.
  19. Attended BABSCon 2015 and I'll be returning to BABSCon for 2016. Had a ton of fun at 2015, and 2016 is shaping up to be a blast.
  20. From where I'm sitting, the number of MLP G4 fans appears to be increasing, but the number of intensely dedicated fans is declining. Looking forward in time to G5+, I don't think the G4 fandom will ever be truly dead. However, we'll eventually contract down to a core constituent much like MLP G1-G3 fans (or take a look at the ST:TOS fandom).
  21. Five hours and thirty-five minutes; stayed up way too late watching "Con Man".
