general Have you ever tried clothes for the opposite gender?
CupcakeShed replied to Jokuc's topic in General Discussion
Wow, a lot of people really seem to hate women's clothing XD Am I the only person who thinks that it's actually MORE comfortable? (High heels aside, of course.) Redundant statement is redundant XD -
general Have you ever tried clothes for the opposite gender?
CupcakeShed replied to Jokuc's topic in General Discussion
Maybe I'm just biased because I'm a transwoman, but I HATE men's clothing. Not only does it misrepresent my identity, but it's just plain uncomfortable. Men's boxers and jeans irritate my skin, and their shirts are just too... bulky. -

When Will Rainbow Factory be Recognized by Hasbro as Canon?
CupcakeShed replied to Banul's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I am serious. Fallout Equestria could work. I mean, just imagine the rest of Season 6, foreshadowing war with a distant land, paranoia building, Equestria building new weapons to combat the enemy... and then the megaspells hit, and the Mane Cast suddenly has to deal with the aftermath of multiple nuclear detonations. Glorious, isn't it? -

Yeah, I gotta agree with this one. I mean, I get that most people are programmed to think babies are adorable because it encourages us to be protective of our young, but apparently I missed out on that particular software patch, and judging by the mixed opinions of this thread, so did a lot of other people. Nothing wrong with that, just like there's nothing wrong with thinking babies are cute. The problem is when people try to force their opinion on others. (That applies to almost anything, not just babies, but I digress.) So, I'ma be honest here: Flurry Heart was the most terrifying thing I've seen in the show so far. I mean, not only do I find babies ugly, but then there's the fact that she ALMOST DESTROYED AN ENTIRE SOCIETY. Let me repeat that: AN INFANT ALMOST DESTROYED AN ENTIRE SOCIETY. Even if you think babies are cute, that fact alone should scare you.

This video has LOTS of great ideas for pranks: Edit: Damn it autoformatting, you spoiled the joke!

spoiler Which alternate timeline was hard to watch(excluding the wasteland)
CupcakeShed replied to TheMarkz0ne's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I actually liked most of them, except for the one with the Flim Flam brothers. I actually never liked any of their episodes; they seem more like a strawman characature of technology and business than anything else. As somebody who both loves scientific progress and is majored in business, I find that stereotype kind of offensive XD -
Is alicorn magic inherently evil?
CupcakeShed replied to ManaMinori's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Even if "alicorn magic" and "dark magic" aren't the same thing, there's clearly at least some correlation between the two. I mean, Star Swirl's spell was intended to transform the user into an alicorn, but instead it switched the destinies of nearby ponies and made their lives miserable. You CAN'T tell me that spell doesn't constitute dark magic. Either Star Swirl was more incompetent than everypony in the show seems to think he was, or he was messing around with "Evil with a capital E" levels of dark magic. -
If it were up to me, Chrysalis would be the leader of an alien invasion. You know, something like Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, where her changelings go around replacing students and townspeople, and the Humane Six (Seven?) have to put a stop to it. Maybe even go all-out with a 1950's B-movie vibe to the entire movie.

Transgender woman here. There's no option for "I'm female, with a female brain, but I have a male body." So... yeah. Can't really answer this one. Cisgender people have an alarming tendency to take the fact that their brain matches their body for granted, like they aren't lucky to be normal. They never even stop to think that they too could have been trapped in a worthless piece of meat that doesn't reflect their self in any way. Being trans is like being invisible; people look at you, but they don't see you. They assume that you're like them, that you're nothing more than the body keeping you prisoner. So to all the people in this thread referring to corrective surgery as "mutilation"? Fuck you. I was BORN mutilated.

Alright, weekend it is! In that case, it'd be easiest for me on a Sunday, but early Saturday might work as well - it'd have to be before 5 PM eastern due to the weekly D&D game I mentioned. What time would work best for you guys? -

CupcakeShed replied to CupcakeShed's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Alright, fixed now. Thanks! Edit: @Mario3D13 Whoops, didn't see your post. Frigging page breaks XD Anyway, I read the bio. It seems like basically a ponified version of Master Chief from Halo. It would be hypocritical of me to reject you because of that - after all, I'm basically ripping off DS9 with this campaign - but I'm more concerned with the whole "super-soldier" thing. I'll allow it, if you tone down the power level to somewhere between "veteran soldier" and "special forces". -

Sure, you're welcome to join! I think that's enough people for now, though. I might increase the number of players to five or six once I get a bit more comfortable with the group, but for now, 4 seems like enough. Edit: Erm. How do I change the tag from "searching" to "OOC"? -

Fair enough. I'll set up an IC thread once we've decided on a time and date for the first session. Speaking of which, when's everybody available? Personally, my schedule is sufficiently flexible that it's easier to say when I'm NOT available: from 4-7 PM on Monday and Wednesday (classes), 6-10 PM on Tuesday (more classes), and from 5 PM onwards on Saturday (a weekly D&D game that I'm a part of). As long as it's not in one of those time periods, I can schedule a session for basically whenever. Edit: Oh right, I almost forgot about time zones. Eastern (US) here. -

CupcakeShed replied to Basco ta Jolokia's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Hehe, I was playing in a Fallout Equestria RP one time, and somebody made a joke about "Stable 47", so I did a quick Fallout Wiki search on Stable 47, only to realize a minute later that I wasn't getting any results because I used "Stable" instead of "Vault" You know you're a brony when hearing about the Twilight books makes you want to see all the main characters get murdered by Twilight Sparkle. -
