    That was a wonderful comedy episode. There was a distinct early season vibe to it with its manic style, the slice of life storyline and the fast-paced gags. It was full of wonderful humour, which surprised me as I don't consider Josh Haber a good comedy writer after having had a look at what he's previously written. My highlights were Rarity's "Why don't you take a picture?!", Twilight and Starlight's attempts to create a new mane for her with magic, and Pinkie's surreal neck-twisting moment at Zecora's. It was all just lovely stuff. Also, it was nice to see Mr Breezy in only his second episode since season 1 - and this time in a speaking role. I never expected that. I was just disappointed that Photo Finish didn't make a proper appearance. If any pony has been underused over the years, it's her.

    An episode that features two of my favourite characters, Starlight and Trixie, is always going to appeal to me, but that's weighed down by the fact that firstly I find the reformed changellings about as uninteresting as I find the yaks and secondly Pharynx is one of the least likable characters of all time. There was some good comedy in this episode though. I didn't recognise the writer Kevin Lappin but I see he also wrote Honest Apple, which was another good comedy episode, so I hope he gets to write some more MLP. Overall, it was Starlight and Trixie and the funny lines that stood out - the rest I didn't much care for, and if it had been any two other characters I probably wouldn't have liked the episode at all.

    It was a slightly unusual episode, which is a good thing as I like it when they try something new. And as someone who liked Sleepless in Ponyville, I was hoping this would be pretty good, but I found it underwhelming. It was reasonably charming and gave me a few minor laughs, but it was neither funny enough, nor was the story engaging enough, to make it anything other than a mediocre episode that will become one of the lesser-remembered ones.

    I'll have to give this one a second watch (hopefully without all the problems my first watch was beset by), but my first impression was that this was a fun but mostly predictable episode that, unfortunately, once again showed Spike in a negative light.

    I didn't mind it. These kinds of crazy faces turn up frequently in MLP and they're part of the show's appeal. The face you mentioned was certainly in character for Rarity and her drama queen personality. Though I must admit, when I saw it in the thumbnail for the episode on Youtube I wondered if it was a piece of fan art.

    I don't know about cartoons, but they also do this in Game of Thrones.

    Well, I watched it and it was the best of the three. As has been said though, this story needed more time than just 22 minutes. I would have loved this to have been the plot of the next Equestria Girls movie.

    Well that was fantastic, so I came on here fully expecting everyone to hate it like they always do when I love an episode. I'm not surprised therefore that the episode isn't doing well in the poll above - though I've noticed that the comments section is much more positive. That was an excellent 22 minutes of slapstick and character-based comedy. Rarity's guitar solo was fantastic. Wonderful to see Hoity Toity and Photo Finish making proper appearances. I've always thought these two characters were criminally underused. I believe this is the first time since season 1 that Hoity Toity has appeared. And I know Photo Finish makes occasional appearances (she's in the opening titles nowadays of course) but this is her first speaking role (not including Equestria Girls) since the first season. This was everything I want from an MLP episode. All in all a great debut from this new writer, Kevin Lappin. Also: Photo Finish showing her eyes for the first time and a pony with a spider cutie mark! Applejack and Rarity get a lot of episodes together, don't they? Which is strange since they're light years apart in terms of personality. Still, I'm not complaining since their my two favourite characters out of the mane six. Another thing: this was the second time this season that Countess Coloratura has been mentioned. Is this leading up to another appearance? I hope so.

    Why not? He's done it before. One thing I'd like to know: was this the same Big Mac voice artist as usual? He sounded different, and unfortunately I can't check since all the Youtube videos seem to cut off before the closing titles. What's other people's thoughts?

    The opening sequence has changed slightly with Starlight looking much happier than she did in the season 6 opening.

    I knew the animation was likely to be different from the TV series but Rainbow Dash looks really odd in this trailer.

    Oh no It's 21 days. I woke up today thinking it was only 14. :=: And my favourite season finale is probably season 5.

    After watching the season 7 preview a couple of times, I'm really happy.

    I started going through all the episodes and EG films from first to last in late 2015 and soon I was a massive fan. As a result of this MLP started invading my dreams after a few weeks. I can't remember any of them though.
