Ok so.

A lot of you are probably familiar with the MLP music artist Eurobeat Brony who has done many-a-wonderful thing and has gifted us with his amazing music. I was talking with one of my friends who makes chiptunes and he sent me a link to this:

 

hat is a link to the song Discord, a piece by Eurobeat Brony. I found that my friend the chiptune player, (Who we shall refer to as..... how about AJ.) Anyway, i found that my friend AJ had a particular fondness for the song Discord so he did a chiptune version. It's stil in the progress of being made, only about 10 or 15 minutes of work has been put into it but it's already amazing. Here it is, and yeah and stuff!

Ive been deeply considering getting some brony gear - my friend gave me a pin, but i mean like, apparel. I generally worry about the reactions of other bronies i know more than other peoples. I dont know why.... O.o

I just watched the 1st of the two and my initial reaction: Twilight is going to be perceived as crazy then triumph over a fake bride.

Then i actually watched it and realized that Twilight was being a really huge... well, b*tch. And then evil bride. Terrific episode though, it's /very/ dramatic.

 

Also, why was her magic green? Isn't it based on the pony's color scheme?

 

The fact that they've attempted 44-minute continuous story arcs (three of them) means that they've ramped up enough production experience that they could modify their system and make a movie if they wanted to.

It's likely within the decision power of the management and executive realm if that will happen, though.

 

I'm not actually sure if i'd enjoy that. I mean, the show is terrific, i love it to death, but shows that have made movies as well, i think are a bit over the top.

Speaking of ruining ponies lives, the secrets we learn, while not quite as revealing as I would have hoped, still revealed some interesting things. For example, Rainbow Dash appears to have issues with ponies touching her hooves. What's up with that? Does it mean she has intimacy issues? Is it just her hooves she doesn't like touched, or is there more to it? Or am I overthinking it and seeing more to it than there really is? Then there's Big Mac holding onto the Smarty Pants doll...he has tears in his voice when he shouts at the CMCs, which says to me that he held onto the doll for a particularly special reason. Of course we can't forget Fluttershy's tail extensions, which is a joke I'm amazed made it onto the show, given that I can't interpret it as anything other than a parody of breast implants. I have no idea why she decided to get those extensions either, unless there's something going on behind the scenes we're not seeing. The mayor's mane-dyeing, as others have pointed out, doesn't make much sense unless she really is trying to look older and more sophisticated. Other things we saw in the column were mostly libel, so I won't touch on them. (Though I must admit I'm curious to know just what those secrets of Trixie's were...)

 

I think for rainbow Dash she had someone sabotage a race by doing something to her hooves? My point being, i hadn't thought of any of it to have much meaning but now that you mention it, it's pretty interesting they threw all that in there.

And what with the extensions being similar to breast implants, that makes sense too, but what i dont get is the Fluttershy is FlutterSHY. Why would she want extensions if they could draw attention?

What would a cutie mark in gossip look like?

 

A grapevine with faces on it? Is it possible to have a Cutie mark in something so..... odd?

I do no think it is annoying. It prevents people from spamming. Also, eaven one minute is nothing >.> It can't be that annyoing..

 

Well there was a point brought up before - when RP-ing, i'd imagine it could get very annoying

Thanks, to be honest, I don't really like how it turned out xD, I feel like I can do better, mainly the color scheme is a bit.. meh... and the way he is standing is a bit awkward, but I shall improve!

 

Actually the color scheme was one of the things i liked a lot! The blue eyes clashes with the red mane/tail and goes together nicely!

It's terrific! I think the only thing i can see wrong with it is the blur! This has been said, by use PNG instead.

Twilight is going to spend the entire episode freaking out but at the end Princess Celestia is going to be like, LOLOLOLOLLOL.

Well i'll be darned - i guess it is a reference. The wiz says, "Someone told me" so maybe one of the other NPCs is a Brony? I bet it's the Goblin.

Also, maybe there are other missed references?

The episodes seem too much of a season finally to me, not a premier - it was too..... dramatic?

Well, iv'e heard a lot of 8-bit versions of songs from MLP and also original work, and a while ago, my brother showed me a program called "Fami tracker" You make your own instruments and songs and is mostly 8-bit. I can do the creating music part, no problem, but the instruments are difficult. Does anyone know how or have pre-made ones? Or even have a better/different software idea?

I would recommend starting on the season 1 songs if you haven't already. I thought that the music in SSN1 was much better although i can't tell why - i just enjoied it more.

I;m gonna have to go with what most other people are saying - the first two episodes were not the best. It seemed too... i dunno, cheesy? Predictable? I can't quite put my hoof on it, but the episodes were just... off compared to others. I'm glad i stuck through, though!

Welp, i recently made this account because a friend of my brothers recommended it to me. I started watching MLP after it came to Netflix and got hooked pretty fast! I just wanted to get more... in touch with the community, so, Hi!
