    Hey, I know it has been a long time indeed, but I'm in a rut right now. My mental state has been better and I didn't know who else to come to. I'm at university, barely treading water with work and finding it impossible to make bonds with anyone. I just wanted to be reminded of simpler times, I suppose. Sorry for rambling and sorry for keeping my distance... I just don't feel myself. I'm just grateful to have this place.

    What a lovely thread, @Sophie H. I know that that the world isn't against me, logically speaking, but I struggle with self-doubt, loneliness and regret from time to time. It can certainly feel like you're fighting against everything sometimes. But then, people can be compassionate and kind as well. Why else would this stream exist? It seems trivial, but, on occasion, people need to hear encouragement like this. Thank you, you've made several people feel better about themselves through a mere internet thread. You are appreciated more than you know.

    I was sad, angry and afraid, to be honest. I feared for the future and overly-reminisced on my past mistakes. But I know now that I have people who care about me, and that's a privilege that many people don't enjoy. I'm trying to be be better everyday, and it's a start.

    I think I'm feeling well. I've tried to find happiness for many years now, and everyone wishing me a happy birthday today, it made me happy. I just want to grow and to find peace within myself.

    Well, here I am. It's been a while, hasn't it? A great deal has changed in the last year. I've changed, most of all. I moved house, I got a job, went to university, dropped out of university...it's been a interesting period of time to say the least.

    I'm sorry for leaving, my friends. Times got a bit difficult for me, mentally speaking. My relationships have been challenged, specifically with my father, and I've been attempting to cope with that the best I can. I've dedicated myself to growth, committed to meditation and, right now, I'm trying to become the best person that I can be. I simply have not been in the correct state of mind to post in the last year. 

    Am I returning full-time? I'm not sure yet. I wish I could give a better answer, but I'm just not sure right now. Nontheless, I hope that everyone here knows that I truly consider you all to be friends.

    Not to be overly-sentimental, but I checked my emails this morning and I am so touched to see that I still have genuine friends here, looking out for me after all this time. To all those who wished me a happy birthday, thank you so much. I feel blessed to have such support. :grin:

    I'm thinking about whether or not sixteen hours of sleep is really great, or a massive cause for concern.

    I just started playing Rayman: Legends (Ultimate Edition) for the Switch. I played Rayman: Origins almost a year ago and thought that it was fantastic all around, so I am beyond excited to sink my teeth into the sequel.

    I do absolutely no exercise and I eat like a slob, yet I just can't put on any weight at all. I just seem to have a ridiculous metabolism, which means that I'm essentially hungry at all times.

    Hey, we haven't formally met, but I do have some grasp of what you're going through. I wish that I could offer you some iron-clad advice, but I can't, I can barely manage my own affairs. Just know that voicing your worries to other people is a great first step, and that when I'm online, I'm always up for a conversation, if for nothing else, to just listen. I feel pretty sozzled. It's been a really crazy week. I went rock-climbing as a management initiative with my coworkers and had a blast. We went out for drinks, and here I am now.

    Absolutely. Judge the show when it's out. I hated the art-style of Archer when I saw it for the first time, but I looked past it and now I'm a bonafide fan of the show. People nowadays are way too quick to pull the trigger on something new before it even has a real chance.

    Not to sound rude here, but I think that this entire thread is pretty silly. The series isn't out yet, how can we write it off just because of its art direction and voice acting? I recall a similar event occurring with a little game known as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and twenty years later, it's one of the series' most beloved titles. People need to calm way down. If it's terrible, it's terrible. But we don't know for sure until it's released, now do we?

    I can't, much like how you can't prove that there are. This comment was made years ago, and I'm a lot more open-minded these days. There could be parallel universes out there, a part of me hopes that they do exist, and I can have a No Way Home Situation on my hands at some point in my life. But, I'm a skeptic at heart, and evidence for this theory isn't very compelling in my opinion. I am open to changing my tune on this matter though.
