Sounds cool, when I get some time I'll do a clip. Can't wait to see the result!

Is the first pony to the left BonBon?
-
So, is this a good idea, or is this just something only I would find interesting/amusing?
I think this is a great idea, I've never read any fanfic before but I love Twilight Sparkle and this sounds pretty cool, so yeah, I'd read it.

That's because I had had like eight years of previous training in painting and drawing, it was just a new medium. Its all about the practices @.@, but thanks
Well it shows
Wow, you're the first person to actually recognize me from YouTube here on the Forums!
Oh wow, thats cool about being first to recognize you, I literally stumbled on your videos yesterday, I think I watched probably 70%? of your videos. Yeah I definitely will look into the tablet when I have enough (soon!) and that Paint SAI too.
I like your Trixie drawing, it really fits in with the style of the show and that is what I'd like to do or something similar to anyway. And nice job on the sketches too. I'm not much for working on paper but who knows.
Nice tip! heheheBy the way, instead of trying to notify somebody by going @______, quoting them makes it so they actually see when you do it

Okay so, let me start by introducing myself. My name is Rion, and I'm another teenage male that has fallen into the grasp of MLP. About a year ago, if anyone were to ask me if I'd begin watching this series and more importantly, becoming a "brony" in general, I would have replied with a "Fuck no!" However out of sheer curiosity from the immense, and continually growing amount of people I met that were infatuated with the show, I gave in and watched the first episode. Then the next one. And the next one.
This pretty much describes myself haha, although I am an open person and was a little cautious? to start watching it. I just knew if I started I probably would be sucked into it like everyone I know.

@Bohtty
I've used a few pony vectors to make simple wallpapers or clip art before, I'm a little familiar with how to make vectors. I may eventually get Flash or something but I want to do easier things first. Here is an example of something I've done here. It was really simple, and I had fun making it!

Holy crap, haha! I watched some of your videos the other day! Which is kind of why I am here! Wow, what a small world. No seriously though, watching your videos specificaly made me want to take this route and heavily weighed my decision. I was actually thinking about using the program you used in those videos because it looked so amazingly easy to use.
this is the unfinished portrait I was talking about. Only because you linked your work. Its like 10% of the original size

Oh that is pretty good, even if it is unfinished I am terrible at drawing faces and that is better than what I could do.

I was guided here, so I figured I would greet myself
I already made a post before this one on another topic here.
Uh.. I guess I'll describe myself a little. Well... I really enjoy ponies, I should say Twilight is probably my favorite and most like myself, but Fluttershy is so adorable, and Pinkie Pie is awesome because she just wants to have a party and make everypony smile! Those are just my top three, I love everypony though!
I'm a pretty big geek and into computers obviously, I prefer to use Linux/Ubuntu, but sometimes boot into Windows for capturing gaming footage with Roxio Game Capture.
The Show has inspired myself to be more artistic and I already started a topic I linked above.
So yeah, I'm glad I'm here! One last thing, I'm still searching for a brony name... Its incredibly hard to come up with one out of the blue :/

Hey! I didn't expect replies so fast.
@€ℨƴηℯłℓ that is awesome to know, from the reviews I've seen I think its perfect for what I want.
@Bohtty ahh yes! Good thing I haven't drawn anything on paper in a while LOL, I can do basic editing in gimp and such with a mouse. It will probably take some time to get used to but if it will help draw ponies and such I think it will be fun to create with!

Hey everypony! This is my first post on here, and I want to contribute, I've been saving up for a while to get a *toy* and I was thinking about either a midi keyboard or graphics tablet.
I recently became a brony not too long ago and I love the show obviously that is why I am here. After seeing everything the community produces it has inspired me to want to... do something. I've became heavily interested in music creating and interested in doing artwork too. Which is odd because I never considered myself very artistic and lately I just want to create!
I'm a linux fanboy too I should mention, but I'm not the crazy kind so don't run away! I have been tinkering with LMMS (Linux Multi Media Studio), I've realized that learning piano would become necessary, or at the very least I want to learn, and using a computer keyboard to do that is possible but isn't the right way I'd like to learn. I think I can get by without a MIDI keyboard for now.
So after going to newegg I've found the Wacom Capture Bamboo tablet seems to be perfect for doing artwork (for a beginner), and can be used on Linux (Ubuntu) with a little work and I think I'm going to go for it.
Any thoughts or anything I should know before I make my purchase?
Also one last thing.. I've been looking for a brony name but I can't think of anything :|
Thanks in advance.

Hey everypony, I thought I would update this thread, I got my bamboo capture a few days ago and just go around to actually drawing something.
