So, since Spike was hatched by Twilight when she was a filly, and has grown with her up until adulthood, which is where we are now, doesn't that mean spike would be legal by pony standards, or am I missing some sort of dragon lore?

No, and these idiotic assumptions are becoming pathetic.
She won't nor will she ever lose those wings. She's earned them, they're part of her now, get over it.

Hasbro script writer: "Oh this is gonna be so good, people are gonna love this movie!"
Hasbro executive: "Alright, it's good, but make it longer, add more new characters for merchandise, and have a pop star appear in the movie somewhere to attract little kids".

Okay, we get it - three posts in three threads - you don't like alicorn Twilight. But now that something wonderful has happened/will happen I don't ever want to see her lose her wings. Lots of new story potential!
I got carried away with hating alicorn Twilight.

She's friends with Discord, she replaces Twilight as the protagonist where she's involved in an episode, she always seems to know what to do and can relate to the character that is causing a problem, she used to be a Nazi Socialist cult leader combo villain, and was suddenly reformed after a somewhat worthwhile attempt at revenge, just like Sunset, and she likes kites even though they weren't canon until she arrived, essentially making them canon. Overall, I rate her 4/10 which is better than Celestia, so at least she isn't the worst character.

Because you feel like the Titanic was your fault, so you're trying to redeem yourself
How does Tank keep flying even though no pony's magic is keeping his propeller spinning?

It would definitely feel rushed if it was done at this point in the show's life, because, honestly, it's probably gonna end in about 3 seasons, but maybe not since it's Hasbro. Anyway, even if they did all find mates, they would be terrible and we'd probably end up with a Fluttercord situation for all the mane 6, and I thought about what NathanW200 said about a Cheese and Pinkie possibility, but since Weird Al is hard to get to do a role, at least by what Hasbro said, and since he would have to be in there for multiple episodes, it just wouldn't work, which is probably a good thing. Also, there would be a huge disturbance within the fandom since most of us have waifus, so it wouldn't be a great choice either way. To be completely honest though, I'm fine with whatever as long as Twilight stays single, seeing as how she is the best pony after all.

Your math is wrong. Removing Season 1 you still have Season 5's unique approach and Season 7's ambiguity. Most won't count Season 5 as a redemption episode so it still favors a lack of a main villain redemption.
Season 2 Finale - No Redemption
Season 3 Finale - No Redemption
Season 4 Finale - No Redemption
Season 5 Finale - Redemption
Season 6 Finale - No main villain Redemption but species redemption
Season 7 Finale - Redemption, but arguably not Stygian's fault entirely and one half of him was not redeemed.
Alright, I see what you mean, but let's not forget that the word "Redemption" is in the last three seasons of your list, so while most people might not count 5's finale as a redemption, the list does, and the list would never lie, making your argument invalid, C A S E closed m8.
