Alright, I have four questions. First, what would happen to our existing government? As far as I know, we have quite a strong army, and just 2-4 ponies probably wouldn't stand a chance. I don't think they even know about atomic bombs, which could easily wipe them all out very quickly. If they tried to rule the whole world, they would certainly be stopped. Second, how would they get here? They know about their human world, but not ours. Without anyone in their world knowing about such a place, it would be pretty much impossible to get there. Plus, even with a "random dimension" spell of some sort, there are probably millions of worlds, making the chance of finding ours such a low chance that it's practically impossible. Third, would it really promote friendship? A lot of people wouldn't like the princesses and their style of government, and the princesses would probably frown upon our world, and, like Buck Testa said, we may have to be "reformed". If we're don't get reformed, then a war could start, and wars are obviously the opposite of friendship. Lastly, if they somehow manage to rule our world, how would they control the sun and moon? We've got a much different solar system than theirs, and I doubt they could keep their sun and moon duties in our world... TL;DR: There would be many problems with their government style in a world like ours, and I doubt the princesses would know how to rule our world without causing chaos.

I prefer the happy Pinkie Pie. Pinkamena is no fun when she goes "crazy", in my opinion. I like depressed Pinkamena better. But I think that the happy Pinkie is the best! Here we go! Pinkie Pie's FULL name! (Is it just me, or does "Diane" not fit her?)

I think that would be a bit of a stretch. Currently, there are only 4 alicorns. If the rest of the Mane 6 became alicorns, there would be 5 more alicorns, more than doubling the amount of them! Can you imagine NINE alicorns? That would be complete mayhem! Plus, what would they be the princesses of? The princesses have very important things to take care of, like the Sun, the Moon, love, and friendship. Sure, you could go with their Elements of Harmony, but those relics are long gone now. They probably wouldn't be very important things to take care of, anyway. They already do their elements in their everyday lives. After all, Pinkie Pie always makes everypony smile! Now, I will say more things in response to these posts! Oh no, making lots of fans very unhappy just for the sake of selling some toys. I don't think it would be a very good trade-off at all, in my opinion. I can imagine all the outcries of the fans for doing that. I would be pretty unhappy too. Basically, from a practical standpoint, it'll never happen. Exactly. Yeah, I don't think the toys will make much more sales from the new change. It fells kind of anticlimactic and would probably backfire on them. It could even net them less sales. And making them all have horns and wings doesn't really promote the "friendship" part of it, as it doesn't bring out the weaknesses of the characters as much. (Take a look at Dragonshy.) It might not be completely out of the question, but, like I said, I think it would be a little bit of a stretch. However, your reasoning makes me see that it's definitely possible though. But with less contact with Princess Celestia in the newer episodes (no letters, friendship journal abandoned), and less dialogue shots per season (10 in S1, now just 4 in S7), it doesn't seem likely. Plus, I think 9 alicorns would be way too much, and lower the value of being an alicorn by a little, but enough to make it feel kinda cheap. However, I like the idea of the second idea! But you're right, it's a completely different topic. The thing is, I think that if one of the Mane 6 happened to die, Princess Twiilght could probably revive them with her magic and make them functionally younger again. It wouldn't be necessary. (Yes, I think magic can be used for healing/reviving.) I want to say something here, but I'm afraid I'll spoil the Season 6 finale... Ok, that's all for this post. Goodbye!

After reading this topic in full, I’d have to agree with some of this stuff. I think that the ponies’ average life span is about a thousand years (for all types). Of course, this opens up problems like: “Why are families so small then?”, but considering this… …they probably live for a very long time. I’d agree that dragons live a lot longer, probably 7,000-10,000 years. However, ponies still have an advantage. I'll get back to that in a moment... If it was just a nap, that would suggest an unbelievably long time, even for a fantasy setting. It would probably be over 100,000 years! I think it was more of a hibernation. Now for alicorns. I think that all alicorns have immortality, natural or ascended. Here's the advantage that ponies have over dragons. I think that alicorns can revive dead ponies / make ponies functionally younger, thus allowing ponies to live longer. (Sorry Trixie, you're not that great and powerful.) I think that she either wasn’t done growing yet or she had a second, more minor ascension which gave her a bit more “royal” shape. Remember that she hasn't grown since then. (Probably the first one.) Anyway, that’s what I think! P. S. I know this is a dead topic. Don't comment on that.
