  1. Yeah, I know that. But can you imagine all the torches and pitchforks if I didn't include peanuts? I think peanuts are to nuts as tomatoes are to vegetables; neither is technically that thing, but they're used as such, so colloquially and culinarily, they fall into those categories.
  2. I don't think I've ever actually been blocked by anyone for any reason. Lucky me. Scratch that. In terms of pages or anything big like that, no. I was blocked by a former friend, but it wasn't a stupid reason. I was an asshole and he didn't wanna speak with me ever again. And I felt that was fair.
  3. Oh, god, that's, like, the most difficult question I've ever heard... I guess I'd be slightly more inclined to disappoint Mr. Rogers, considering, y'know, he's kinda dead, so he's not around to care anymore. But if, hypothetically, he were still alive, geez, I have no idea who I'd rather disappoint... I suppose it might depend on the circumstances by which I'd end up disappointing them. If it's something that I can still stand behind or even disagree with them on, then I don't think I have anything to regret. But if it's something that I'm trying to prove about myself or hold in high regard myself, that kind of disapproval could be crushing... I'm sorry, it's just too hard a question to answer
  4. Double Dip Crunch and Triples. Man, I loved those cereals. Double Dip Crunch was sorta like Crispix supposedly dipped in both honey and nuts. It tasted awesome. Triples was puffed rice, corn and wheat that was sweetened. And it also tasted amazing. I miss those things Also, I may slightly be addicted to cereal... ._.; *edit* Also, Hi-C Ecto Cooler. This was around for a bit longer, but they did stop making it. And it was freaking amazing. Loved this stuff. Apparently there's a recipe for it? People loved it that much. Might have to try that. *le edit again* And Sodalicious, which was a gummy snack flavored like pop, like cola, root beer and lemon lime. I think it was also covered in sour sugar. Goddamn, I ate a lot of weird shit in the 90's...
  5. I like The Beatles pretty well. I was really into them in junior high, so it always has sort of a personally nostalgic feeling for me to listen to their music. I think most of the songs I like are probably all pretty well-known ones. In My Life, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, Penny Lane, Come Together, Octopus's Garden. Probably no surprises, lol My favorite Beatle is Paul McCartney. I know a lot of people didn't like his work after The Beatles, but I did. I liked a lot of his solo songs. Not as much with Wings, though. Also, this shit is hilarious: http://www.ringostarrart.com/ And looking at the prices and the fact that so many are sold out, also a little sad...
  6. I have a horrible, horrible temper. Not as much with people, but when objects don't work right or I can't make something work out, I get incredibly angry. There are some games I had to stop playing because I would get so angry, I'd hurt myself from punching and kicking stuff. Yeah. It's kind of a problem. I need to work on it... ._.
  7. I hate when people are pushy with you, then get indignant when you push back. Or not even when you push back; even when you calmly and politely decline. This is especially so with salespeople. I hate shopping because of pushy salespeople. Yeah, I know they're on commission. That doesn't mean they have to berate me or yell at me when I don't wanna buy their product. In fact, that's a surefire way to get me to never come back again. Yeah, I hate all that shit.
  8. I'm 27, so typically, I don't even meet my friends' parents. However, when I was in school and of an age where that was important, my friends used to say I was a parent's wet dream.
  9. I don't get all head-tingly like some people do, but I do like a good ASMR video from time to time. It's very relaxing for me. I like to combine it with very relaxing music or nature tracks, and it's so relaxing. (Could I say relaxing one more time? Yeesh...) This one, in particular, I enjoy: (Warning, it's very long.) I don't wear makeup, don't know how to wear makeup, don't get makeup, but for whatever reason, I like makeup tutorials. I guess I like seeing things in a progression like that. It's similar to why I like speed paintings. Anyway, in particular, I like when she taps the bottle of foundation (the l'Oreal) at around 20:00. In general, I can't really explain, but I like when certain people use plosive sounds. (T, D, K, G, B and P.) I can't really explain what specific consonant sounds, but just certain ones. I think when slightly more air escapes? It's hard to explain. This guy makes the plosive sounds I like. I can't really explain what it is about it, but you can get the idea. I dunno if it's actual ASMR, but that's always what I think of for me, personally, when people mention ASMR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxTmwjNDIh0
  10. Yes! Awesome! I can't wait for other countries to follow suit! Also, the rainbow over Dublin was an amazing coincidence that just tickled me
  11. Sorry to hear that I'm in a similar situation. I like shrimp, but it makes me sick to eat. I really wish I could eat it and try foods like crab. I think the closest you can get is probably seeds, if you're not allergic to those. Pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds sort of have a bit of a nutty taste to them.
  12. Eat... I know it's a bad idea to comfort eat, but it just makes me feel better I'm trying to stop, though.
  13. Installing drivers... Ugh... Such a hassle... Now my schedule's all messed up...
  14. 290563 Sorry for the momentary incorrect number. For whatever reason, it just seemed to drop me on a random page O.o;
  15. I'm pansexual and agender. Relatively newly out ^^
  16. I learned chemistry for a year in 10th grade. I didn't get it. I did pretty poorly in the class, but I passed. I really don't care for chemistry at all. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
  17. I'm an American living in Japan. I drove when I lived in the US but I can't drive over here. Even if I could, I don't have a vehicle to drive, anyway. To local places, I take my bicycle. Farther away places, I take the bus and the train. And to places the train doesn't go or if we're going together, my partner drives me. I'm 27 but I haven't driven in about 5 years. I've never liked driving. It's extremely nerve-wracking for me. I'm a poor judge of anything spacial, so it makes me nervous to drive. I'm also a poor judge of my own movements, so making judgments for myself while driving is quite difficult. I'm fine if everything's going smoothly, but if there's a lot of traffic or there are assholes or unaccounted factors, I have a lot of trouble. In particular, I'm no good at making snap-judgments. I tend to make bad judgments when I don't have time to think. I can't focus well on the big picture and can only really factor one thing at a time. So, yeah. I don't like driving. Though, I do have to say, a lot of it is other people. Yes, it's my fault that I can't make these kinds of snap-judgments. And if it's a situation nobody can do anything about, that's on me. But if someone's just being inconsiderate, that's their fault. And there are a lot of inconsiderate jerkasses out there. Ugh, I just don't like it.
  18. This is awesome. It's scary to hear about people like this. It's infuriating that people, if they get your info, can basically do whatever they want with it and you can't do jack about it. It's nice to see someone like this get their comeuppance. As for punishment, I think he should be put in prison. Since he's 17, he might go to juvie? I don't know about the legal system that well, but I'd like to see him in a proper correctional facility, not just juvenile hall. These are very serious, numerous offences and I don't think he should get off lightly.
  19. I have pretty bad entomophobia and arachnophobia. (Bugs and spiders.) I don't even wanna leave my house in the summer because I don't want to encounter any bugs. Cicadas are the worst for me. I know they're basically harmless, but they're just so big and ugly. And goddamn, are they stupid. Derp, there's a thing in the way? Let me fly into is about 27 more times before I get that there's a thing in the way. Useless little shits. One thing that constantly bothers me is that I often have to protect this information. I can't let people know and if I'm confronted with something, I have to pretend it doesn't bother me, which never works. Because I don't know about anyone else, but I've definitely had this info used against me in the past. People think it's funny to expose you to an item you have a phobia toward when you reveal that phobia to them. I don't get it. It's not a matter of getting a rise out of someone. It's just cruel. And then they have the audacity to tell you to get over it. So, I open up to you, you exploit the information I've given you, you've exacerbated my condition and now you want me to get over it after you've gotten me super worked up about it. Screw you, you asshat. Sorry to go off on a ranty tangent. That's just something that really bothers me. That people don't take it seriously when it is a serious issue and a serious psychological disorder. Then again, most people don't take most psychological disorders seriously, so why should I be surprised? Sorry. I think I'm in a really pessimistic mood, today... ._.
  20. This is a cool. Just randomly wanted to listen to it just now.
  21. I would probably go with a nickname of mine, Cheru. I've actually considered changing my name to this in the past. I don't identify very strongly with my actual given name. I don't think it suits me. It's not a bad name by any means, but my image of the name is a very posh, high-class kind of girl. And I'm a lazy, slobby agender person. That's the other thing is that my real name is clearly gendered. I'd like to go with something gender-neutral. So, I guess, that'd be my name. I don't really see a reason to change my last name, so I'd never thought as to what it would be if I did. I've always seen myself as having the last name I currently have and other than pen names, I've had no desire to change it.
  22. What kind of nuts do you like and why? What kind of nuts don't you like and why? Or are you allergic? I'm not sure what my favorite nut is. I like a number of nuts. I like peanuts, cashews and almonds. I think those are probably at the top of my list, somewhere. I like peanut butter and cashew butter a lot. And when I have a recipe that requires nuts, almonds are my go-to nut. I also like macarons and marzipan. I like hazelnuts as a flavoring more than the actual nut. I like it as filling in confections. Also, Nutella. Nutella is my God. And I just found out that coconuts are actually nuts. Derp. Shoulda figured. Well, I like coconuts a lot, so they make it on the list. And I'd never had chestnuts before I moved to Japan, but I really enjoy them from time to time. Amaguri. They're really nice I actually don't like nuts in baked goods. Sometimes, you can't really get around it, which is why I go to almonds, but for the most part, I don't like them in baked goods. It's like an interruption. Like, oh, you were going to take a nice soft bite in to this fluffy muffin? Not anymore! -_- I'm not big on pecans or macadamia nuts. I hate walnuts. Walnuts always taste really bitter to me. That's part of why I hate nuts in baked goods; the ones that typically go into baked goods are the ones I don't like. Now it's your turn. Tell me about the nuts you like
