  1. Here’s my take: I don’t like her. She bested Twilight and I think she was created in the brainwashing episode just to be an evil counterpart to her. I don’t like the idea that another unicorn is equal in powers to her. It was the depth of her evil personality that makes it hard to like a “good” side of her now. It’s like if someone is really bad to you and then expects things to go back to the way they were. There’s always that memory. She seems to be all over the place emotion-wise, as if the writers don’t quite know where to place her. I wouldn’t mind her being there if she was just a minor character and not comparable power or personality-wise to Twilight. It seems that she’s really trying to fit in; I actually feel sorry for her sometimes. I guess “tainted” and “awkward” are the best words to describe her. One of my favorite sayings is that innocence is easily lost and can never be gotten back. I think Starlight fits that saying.

    Hello

Will do 🙂 Bye the way; are there any more mlp fans here from Tennessee? Anyone know of an active group in this state?
  3. Just a newbie saying that he has fallen for Twilight. None of the other ponies has affected me like her. I just like her personality, her face and her hair color/ style.

    Hello

Thanks for the quick response. I haven’t watched all of the mlp episodes yet; tonight I watched the one where Rainbow Dash is trying to learn the history of the wonderbolts for a test. I enjoy the little interactions that the writers throw in apart from the main theme of the show. It sort of breathes life into the story to see just everyday stuff going on.

    Hello

This may be an unusual introduction: I’m here because of my daughter. I’ve been watching the show with her and got to liking the characters apart from her interest in it. Some of the episodes are on the simple-side, but they still bring a smile because of the ponies’ personalities. My favorite is Twilight Sparkle. I also like Discord. The main reason that I joined this forum was to vent about something coming across here and elsewhere on the web. I won’t do any spoiling, but I just don’t get why so many “fans” are so apathetic whether the present set of pony characters continues on in the show, or even if the show in its present form even continues at all. I just don’t get why someone who professes to like something doesn’t care if it’s there in the future! For myself, I would love to see as much of Twilight Sparkle and Discord as I can get, and I’m sure my daughter would agree. I guess that someone who has watched seven years of the series may be getting bored, but I hope that they would remember that there is always new fans (like myself) who are only just discovering this show. Okay. My vent is over. Perhaps someone here can explain this contradiction for me. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
