I was blown away by how much I enjoyed this episode(s). Loved how well it included all the characters, and it was packed with funny and sweet moments. I think the part that had me laughing and re-watching it the most was Overall, this was a very enjoyable 10/10 episode for me. It really shows what the team can do when they have 44 minutes to work with, and even then it feels like they put in extra effort. It's a bit early, but this was a great holiday gift to watch.

After seeing that trailer I'm actually pretty interested in it. Looks like a fun pair of episodes! Also Discord and Dash teaming up to get gifts sounds like a lot of fun, and and interesting pairing.

There's a lot of favorite quotes...but the one that comes immediately to mind is Maud telling Boulder to "Play nice" as she puts him on a large rock in "The Gift of Maud Pie". The tone of her voice and the absurdity of it in the moment was quite funny to me, and I'm still chuckling about it now as I type this.

I really hope to see them again, hopefully a few getting a bit more of a dedicated spotlight like Rockhoof did. Starswirl I'd like to see partnering with Twilight for an episode in investigating something heavily magical. Seeing those two geek out in their own ways over arcane theories or artifacts would be a fun watch for me.

Considering the countless hours I've spent browsing forums, art sites, and watching each episode at least once, I'd say it most certainly did change my life, and for the better. The show and community surrounding it has kept me entertained and happy since I started watching near the end of the first season. I still get excited thinking about the show, where it has been and what's still in store for it.

Autumn Blaze was a treat to watch, and her song got stuck in my head for a couple days. The voiceless and mostly emotionless village was a pretty cool concept. I really hope to see at least one more episode featuring a Kirin next season. Really my only complaint is we didn't get to be introduced to the Kirin until so late in the show's life. I would love to see more of them. A favorite of mine this season for sure.
