What would you give to hug this pony?

@Misty Shadow Happy happy birthday to you! Lots of cake and fluffy ponies all for you!

I’m sorry my friend but I just could not get into DMC... I tried several times, but I just could not get a hang of the combat and enemies kept killing me…
This game just isn’t for me… and I’m sorry.

@DivineDefender1000 WOAH!
Stylish, man!
I'm truly delighted to be seeing you already giving the game another chance! Remember that every game is just a grind and that this game is a lot shorter than something like Elden Ring. Just imagine the time you're putting into getting good at the combat as grinding in an RPG.

@Misty Shadow I’ve died a few times and I’ve only gotten a couple of S Ranks on missions, but I have been getting all the blue orbs and doing all of the secret missions.
I’ve been following a really good guide and let me tell you, upgrading your Devil Trigger is seriously insane and you can seriously wreck bosses with some of the later upgrades.
Now that I finally got a hang of the combat, it feels a lot more fun for me. It took quite a few tries but I got there.

@DivineDefender1000 Totally normal, I certainly did not beat every mission on my first try when I was first playing the game. Thank you, thank you, thank you for listening to me and following that guide (you're going to need something like that if you want to beat DMC3...). It's also incredible, yeah, the stuff you can do to make some hard parts in the game a joke after you've gotten good at the combat. That's another reason why Ninja Gaiden is harder, not just because of the enemies attacking with more aggression, but because of the upgrades not giving you as much of an advantage over the enemies and bosses.

@Misty Shadow Hi friend! Thought I’d tell you that I finished both of the original Metal Gears 1 and 2!
Metal Gear 1 was okay… but I was constantly getting shot at and killed and getting lost, so I had to use a guide.
Metal Gear 2 was a lot better with both gameplay and the story, like it was a true precursor to the MGS games!
I am now on Metal Gear Solid 1! Now this… this where the fun truly begins! Can’t wait!

@DivineDefender1000 Woah, this is a pleasant shock, glad you ended up playing the retro Metal Gears after all!
Hope you love MGS1, that game was an absolute favorite from my days of adolescence!
