  1. [Note: This post is a copy of my original Tumblr post. Originally I had intended it to keep updating it, but such a task would be cumbersome and messy. So instead, I created a new post with the updates, which is a direct continuation of this one. Part 1 | Part 2| Part 3] The earliest solid bits of information surrounding the MLP G5 movie (not the ones from the 2017 leaks) came from the Festival of Licensing and were reported by Equestria Daily on October 8, 2020. The article revealed that the 2021 all-CGI MLP G5 movie would feature a brand-new cast of characters along with the (possible) return of the ‘Old Cast’ (probably the Mane 6 of MLP FiM, who won’t take center-stage but will serve as incidental characters or cameos). It also mentioned that Paramount Pictures was set to distribute the film, which was produced by Hasbro’s entertainment studio Entertainment One and that the movie had been scheduled to open in theaters on September 24, 2021. Things have been awfully quiet since then, with no other announcements, not even who’s been cast in the movie. And this is strange because in case of the 2017 movie , we got the casting announcements as early as August 10, 2015 – 2 years, 1 month and 27 days before the movie’s release on October 6, 2017. Other announcements continued throughout 2016, with the second one being on February 12, 2016 and the last one on January 23, 2017. But today it’s February 24, 2021 – barely 7 months until the movie releases, and we have still no freaking clue as to who’s even been cast. The only vague information came from the Licensing Summit Online which had a presentation about the Russian branch of Hasbro about their "My Little Pony" brand. The presentation revealed the following schedule: Besides stating for the umpteenth time that the MLP G5 movie will premiere Fall 2021, the presentation also revealed that: a) We will apparently have a 44-minute special with the new generation in Spring 2022 b) Fall 2022 will see the debut of the MLP G5 series proper. c) We’ll have 2 seasons of MLP G5 during the period 2022-24, each of which will be divided into two parts (kinda how they did with MLP G4 FiM, I believe) [Side note: The presentation also mentioned that the line of dolls with the Equestria Girls will be updated in 2021, but no new movies or animated series with them had been planned.] The only concrete piece of news we’ve gotten so far is that the MLP G5 will be skipping the theaters altogether and instead will be heading straight to Netflix (probably due to Covid restrictions), as reported by Variety. And the entire My Little Pony fandom is waiting on tenterhooks for any solid piece of information about the upcoming MLP G5 movie, and a vast majority of us are getting impatient at the lack of any ‘official’ announcements. But that’s not to say that there haven’t been ‘unofficial’ announcements. In fact, there have been tons of teeny-tiny bits and bobs of information flying around which is what compelled me to create this post in the first place. I wanted to collect every piece of info we have on the G5 movie into one massive post and see if I can’t put together something solid and cohesive, because God knows I need to rearrange my ideas or I can’t think straight. So, what exactly do we know about G5 so far? Next to nothing? Or everything – including but not limited to the setting, the plot, and the characters etcetera? Well, the answer would vary depending on whether or not you choose to believe the 4chan leaks. Now you might roll your eyes and think “Really, dude? 4chan is your source? Those folks come up with literally anything!” Which, I admit, would be most logical and common reaction. Even I was skeptical at first. But as the days passed and we got official tidbits of information (which uncannily matched the ‘leaks’), my opinion began to waver. So let me break this down for you. The following is a screen-cap of the original 4chan posts. You can find both the archived threads here (or here) and the second one here. Notice the dates. The post bearing No. 35988776 which first brought up the leaks (bottom) is dated October 13, 2020 while the follow-up ‘leak’ (top) bearing No. 36193384 was posted exactly a month and 11 days later on November 23, 2020. I’ll list down the main points: Takes place in Futuristic Equestria FiM characters and the Elements of Harmony believed to be long gone. The main character is a happy-go-lucky Pegasus who just wants everyone to get along and be friends. She’s part of a pacifism activist group. The other major character is a unicorn kind of like twilight who wants rights for her ponies, and she and the main pegasus form the main duo. The MC (main character) remembers a time when friendship was commonplace in Equestria and the races got along. Now compare this info with what the KidScreen article revealed. For the record, this article was published on January 29, 2021. That’s 109 days (i.e. 3 months, 17 days) after the original leak on October 13, 2020 and 68 days (i.e. 2 months, 7 days) after the follow-up leak on November 23, 2020. To get a brief summary, you can either read the Equestria Daily post or watch DrWolf’s video on it. But for now, let’s focus on what the article has to say about the plot of the movie. Read the following excerpts from it below: "Instead of abandoning the franchise’s characters and stories, the movie will take place in the same world featured in Friendship is Magic and Pony Life, but jump ahead in time to focus on a new generation of ponies and unexplored corners of Equestria. “The movie’s main character, for example, is an activist working to make the pony world a better place." [The latter point about the main protagonist created a shitstorm. A majority of the fans have expressed their disappointment over MLP going woke, while others are still on the fence about it. But that topic deserves its own separate post, so let’s not get sidetracked]. Welp, there you go. The main gist of the article adds up with the rumoured 4chan leaks. Make of that what you will. Coincidence? I think not. Personally, I’m of the opinion that that the 4chan leaks do indeed have a basis in fact. Because the similarities between the leaks and the article are just too strong. But if it is a coincidence – then whoever posted those ‘leaks’ on 4chan must possess future knowledge or Divination powers. That’s the only possible explanation. There’s another thing. On January 13, 2021, Equestria Daily reported the appearance of a mystery animatic (titled “Opening Scene Song”) online which was supposedly posted mistakenly by someone who formerly worked Boulder Media as a storyboard artist. When the news spread like wildfire, the animatic was promptly taken down by the artist from whichever site it was they originally posted on. But the damage was already done. Plenty of people (including myself) went ahead and immediately saved it (as well as the .pptx slides) and some of them even made YouTube videos about it. As DrWolf001 so clearly observed in his video (and I quote): “We have what appears to be an older male pony showing figurines of the Mane 6 to a younger pony (who might be Izzy – but more on that later); and much of it shows the comradery between the pony races and especially the close bonds between the Mane 6 themselves. It also seems like this older male pony is talking about the Mane 6 as if they were stories of long ago. ‘Legends and History of Equestria.’ I mean, why else would there be figurines of each of the Mane 6? The way these two characters are interacting with the Mane 6 seems much more likely to be – as mentioned before – tales from long ago. So, if this was meant to be part of the upcoming 2021 movie, then this would indeed be one way of bridging the gap between G4 and G5.” This interpretation does indeed match with what the leaks refer to as “the MC remember(ing) a time when friendship was commonplace in Equestria and the races got along”. Next, let’s move on to the ‘supposed’ characters of the movie, shall we? Here’s a screencap from another 4chan leak (Take your time reading through the original thread here) Here’s what the leaks had to say about the character names: It also offered descriptions of 5 of the Mane Cast: Now, for all we know, those could just be rumours. Made-up names and descriptions. But wait. Take a look what popped up on Equestria Daily on the morning hours of February 22, 2021. Rumor: Licensed MLP Bedding Shows Off Possible G5 MLP Style Here’s an excerpt. “The company, Jerry Fabrics, has been known to license MLP in the past and even has some G4 products awaiting release for later this year. What is curious though is the product you see above for release in September of this year. Not only is it a completely different style from the other products scheduled for release, but the September release date puts this new bedding out in stores around the release date of the MLP Movie..................If it does turn out to be G5 then I guess we get our first look at some possible characters from the movie as well as the potential style.” Take a close look at the images on the bedsheet. And then read the (apparently leaked) character descriptions. They match exactly. Well? What do you make of that? Another coincidence??? Nope. Extremely unlikely. Also, now scroll up and take another close look at that animatic. That younger pony sure does resemble “Sunny” the earth-pony, doesn’t it? Not to mention the fact that the art-style closely resembles lmalou’s who has reportedly done freelance work on the upcoming movie. According to the report on Equestria Daily, “In the past 3 years Imalou worked both at and with Boulder Media, an Irish animation studio acquired by Hasbro a few years ago, as part of the effort to bring a new cast of ponies to the big screen next year.” Below are some samples of lmalou’s work. The way she draws the ponys’ eyes and muzzle closely resembles the drawings on the bedsheet. Top picture: Source & Bottom picture: Source And as if any more proof was needed, a fan sent an email to the company that advertised the bed-sheet and they confirmed the fact that the characters displayed on the bed sheet are indeed from the upcoming G5 movie. What further cements the fact is that Equestria Daily reported on February 23, 2021 that jfabrics website has since unlisted the merchandise featuring the new Mane Trio - although the page itself is still up. What’s more, EQD was instructed to remove all images of the item off the site too. But as other fans have pointed out, Hasbro’s efforts are, as usual, “too little, too late”, seeing as Derpibooru, Tumblr and Twitter already exploded with an unbelievable number of fan-art "celebrating" those designs. (Thanks, fandom, really appreciate that! Keep the artworks rolling!!) Next up, the new MLP Logo Hints of a possible new logo for MLP G5 emerged online on January 11, 2021 when Equestria Daily reported that “a sleuth over on Derpibooru” while looking at merchandise on Taobao has spotted a never-before-seen logo on one of the packs. This roused some speculation, but the very next day (January 12, 2021), Equestria Daily reported another piece of news surrounding the new logo. This time, the logo was spotted on one of the Secret Ring Blindbag packs (pictured below). Here’s a clearer version of the logo (vectored by someone on 4chan) As expected, this sent the rumour-wheel spinning and there were tons of theories and speculation surrounding the product and where that shop picked up said merchandising. Also, while the actual box for the rings featured the familiar G4 logo, a bunch of the characters were unknowns. But there was no confirmation – official or otherwise – from any source whatsoever. That is, until the reveal of the new characters on the bedsheet. Take a close look at the font. That’s an exact match! What further evidence do we need? It’s “two plus two equals four”. (Side note: The phrase “Everypony can make a difference” written on the blanket kinda sorta gives off activism vibes – but that could just be my imagination running wild). Welp, that’s all for now, folks. On February 8, 2021, at the Hasbro (HAS) Q4 2020 Earnings Call Transcript, Brian Goldner (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer) has gone on record saying that (and I quote): “........This is further enhanced by Hasbro IP like My Little Pony, which has been reinvented under the eOne family brand's scheme leadership and is re-launching later this year. Certainly, in 2021, we are building an event around the new My Little Pony animated feature film which we're all very excited about and that should be a very robust program both for Hasbro developed products as well as consumer products. We've got our own My Little Pony movie coming in the September window. Every one of our franchise brands was up with the exception of My Little Pony and we've already talked about how we'll be staging that this year. The eOne team will share more on our progress and plans at our event on February 25th.” Hasbro is holding an investor event on February 25, 2021 (that’s only a day away!) where they are expected to reveal more on the plans for the G5. Here – keep checking this countdown timer. That’s my two cents. What are your thoughts? Thanks for reading! Peace out! ~~Dreamstar Moonlight
  2. Mod note: This blog post has been "moved" to a thread in our G5 forum in the name of better visibility and longevity. Here's a link - read it and discuss it there!
  3. Hi there, @Quantum Pony First off, a very Happy New Year to you! Secondly, I was just curious - have you had any thoughts regarding your model of the Solar System? I'm still working on my timeline project!
  4. Here, I found this short comic that delves into cozy's backstory (while staying true to the canon). It's a fantastic read, and makes the whole thing a lot clearer, albeit darker. https://www.deviantart.com/lunarcakez/gallery/72531181/a-dim-glow-mlp-comic
  5. Hey @Quantum Pony! I thought I’d share with you my theories about how long a ‘moon’ is in the equestrian calendar, since these may help you come up with an answer based on your model. So, without further ado, let me present the possible answers to the most headscratching, annoyingly tiresome question: "How long is a moon?" This topic has been speculated for so long that now there are now several varying answers to this question. The commonest answers are: 1) 1 moon = 1 lunar cycle; approximately 27-29 days (but less than a month) 2) 1 moon = 3.42 days (average length of each phase of the moon) 3) 1 moon = approximately a week 4) "Many moons" is an arbitrary term to mean a very long period of time. Kinda like how we say "it's been ages since we last met". Theory (1): 1 moon = 1 lunar cycle: 27-29 days This theory is most widely accepted, and it does explain why Twilight freaked out when Luna told her the portal to the Equestria Girls world would close in 3 days, and Twilight won't be able to return to Equestria for another 30 moons (approximately 3 years). It also makes sense for Twilight and her friends to meet "once a moon" (once every 27-29 days) when she establishes the Council of Friendship. But this concept throws a hammer in the works if you consider Granny Smith was speaking facts when she mentioned that the Apple Family Reunion takes place every 100 moons. That means the Apples hold a reunion every 8 years or so. But seeing that there was a reunion in the pilot episode and another in season 3, and the fact that seasons 1-3 take place within a single year, it makes much more sense if 1 moon = 3.42 days so that 100 moons = 342 days, thus placing Apple Family Reunion 23 days before Summer Sun Celebration (June 21) in season 4. Also, if according to your hypothesis, the moon goes through all of its phases during a single day, then this theory goes down the drain. Also, if you assume that 1 moon equals 1 day, well, that theory wouldn’t hold water one bit. I doubt the Apples will hold reunions every 3 months if we go by the logic. And the Council of Friendship would have to meet every single day. We know that's not the case. Theory (2): 1 moon = approximately 3 – 3.42 days Going by this theory, when 100 moons have passed, that means it's been 342 days since the first reunion we saw in the pilot episode when Twilight first came to Ponyville. Assuming that an Equestrian year has 365 days, the Apple Family Reunion we saw in season 3 takes place around 28th of May (23 days before the Summer Sun Celebration on June 21). When Twilight suggested that she and her friends meet once a moon' (The Last Problem), and Rainbow's comment to Luster Dawn that they meet "this time, every moon) .....Do you think it's plausible that they meet every 4 days (the closest approximation to 3.42)? Or does it seem to be too short a period? Granted, meeting once a month makes sense considering they all have jobs and are trying to schedule a meeting with the ruler of the land, but.... Also, another user gave a plausible explanation to this theory; their reason being (and I quote): “.......Assuming the portal works once every 90 days (~1 season on Earth): There would be an astronomical reason for the portal to be opened on each of the equinoxes and solstices: the combination of the inclination of the planet, the elliptical shape of its orbit and its rotation will provide the exact same predetermined alignment with a distant star (if it was programmed to recognized it through typical parameters like "ascension" and "declination"; then establish a connection). This is a "brute force" safe mechanism. If the system had an ansible to look for [like the book] as a reference to draw 3 spatial coordinates (using 3 known points visible from both planets used as "zero" for reference) and the point of origin [the statue itself]; then it will work just like a Stargate. The occultation of that star by the local moon of the planet interrupts the connection [probably a safety mechanism prevents its use since the matter/energy transmission could be affected by its local gravity well ]; then when Pony! Twilight overrides this, she risks having a "telefrag" if she uses it at the night when the moon is high [both in Rainbow Rocks and The Friendship Games, the portal was used (or tried to be accesed) always during the day; maybe because she has figured this problem].” Theory 3) 1 moon = approximately a week Honestly, I haven’t found anything to support this theory. So I’ll just leave it like that for the time being. Anyway, hope you find this useful! As always, I’d love to hear which theory you support based on your model of the solar system! Have a fantastic day! - Dreamstar Moonlight
  6. @Quantum Pony Thank you for your comment! And I'm so happy that you agreed to most of my points! As for the Equestrian moon going through all of the phases in a single day – I don’t think that particular fact would really affect my chronology in any particular way, so I’d be happy to agree with you on that point. Here's another thing I think I can clarify for you. The Equestrian solar system is indeed geocentric, and this image from Part 2 of the season 4 premiere proves it! (I only found this image after I posted my original comment – barely a couple of days ago). So that’s another point we can both agree on. Going to the subject of ‘moons’ (the unit of time) – that’s a very tiresome topic because it can be anything from (approximately) 3 days to a week or even 27-29 days (but less than a month), depending on the story. Jayson Thiessen went on record saying that a ‘moon’ has ‘no human equivalent’ [source: https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Moons ], so I don’t think it would be possible to pin down an exact value. However, if you do manage to come up with a plausible theory (however far-fetched it may seem to you) that can explain how ponies define a ‘moon’ (preferably 1 moon = 3.42 days or 7 days – I’ll explain the reason in my final project), I would be delighted to hear it! As for your question, “Would the timeline also cover events happening in parallel universes too? It will probably be just a branch off the main timeline, but some of them (like the opposite/mirror universe) does deviate from the main timeline quite early in Equestria history.” The answer is ‘Yes!”. And although at first glance, it may seem that the mirror universe deviates from the main timeline continuity; in actuality, it does not! You may be surprised, but if you probe deeper into the storylines, you’d notice that there’s a lot of ‘ambiguity’ involved, and my friends and I, with the help of other fans have come up with explanations that tie together everything as well as can be expected, while staying as closely as possible to the canon material. I apologise if I sound vague, but attempting to explain all of this would take me another couple of pages! You’ll see what I mean when I finally post our notes on the mlpforums site and my DeviantArt page. I’ve already completed up till season 5, and and made rough outlines covering seasons 6-8. Season 9 doesn’t need much re-arranging, so I’ve kept it for the last. Hopefully, if everything goes as planned, our work will be complete by the end of this year, or the first week of January, 2021. And naturally, your work will be credited! Thank you again for taking the time off to reply to my comment! If you have any more updates on your model, I’d love to check them out. Have a great day! - Dreamstar Moonlight
  7. @Dust and Memories Not quite. In IDW's "Cosmos" story arc, we see the Mane 6 look for scattered 'stars' which might help them recreate the lost constellation. The stars' which fell out of the sky look like decorative ornaments one would put atop a Christmas tree. Given how far those stars are, and how little they are, it makes no sense. Unless you assume that the stars were in fact giant suns when they were up in the sky, but when they 'fell' to Equestria (courtesy of Discord), they drastically changed their nature and size. I wouldn't put it past Discord's powers to nbe able to do just that.
  8. @Quantum Pony Also, I was wondering if the following thread will be helpful to you in any way: There's a ton of scientific stuff in there, most of which rolled over my head like water off a duck's back. But I'd suggest you give it a read!
  9. Now we know that is canonically untrue, because : 1) In season 2 episode "Heaerh's Warming Eve", Pinkie Pie (who portrays Chancellor Puddinghead) tells Applejack (who portrays Smart Cookie) expicitly taht "the earth is round; there's no up or down". 2) Also, In the season 9 episode 4 Sparkle’s Seven, Pinkie Pie daydreams about going into space. You can see quite clearly taht whatever planet Equestria is on, is spherical – just like our earth.
  10. @Quantum Pony WOW!!! Just....WOW!!! This was such a fantastic read! Out of all the theories I’ve researched so far, yours seem to be the most consistent, simple and ...quite literally, the BEST! But I have several questions, which I hope you might help me out with. But before that, I must get some other stuff out of the way – things other people have asked you about, but your answers may have been...slightly off the mark. You concluded your report with the following paragraph “In our model of the Equestria solar system, the position of the sun is chosen to be dEquestria sun = dmoon + Rmoon so that it is near enough to react almost instantly to Celestia's magic but still further away than the moon. ......Furthermore, the sun, moon and Equestria are station- any relative to each other rather than orbiting around themselves. As a result, Celestia and Luna constantly use their magic to reposition the sun and the moon to bring forth day and night in Equestria.” Here you raise some queries, which I’m hoping I could give my two cents on, before moving on to my questions: (a) “Firstly, for a star to be the same size of our moon is unheard of in our universe. Secondly, we assumed the temperature of the Equestria sun to be the same as ours which is quite concerning (since it needs to be at a certain size to sustain the fusion reactions in its core in order to generate heat).” Don’t think too deeply into it. In a world of magic, the sun being the same size as the moon and yet being able to sustain the fusion reactions in its core can be attributed to some unknown magical force we know nothing about. (b) “There is also the question about whether Equestria is flat or spherical.” I think I can answer that for you. In the season 9 episode 4 Sparkle’s Seven, Pinkie Pie daydreams about going into space. You can see quite clearly taht whatever planet Equestria is on, is spherical – just like our earth. Just pause the video at the 0:55 mark. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K55MwoICwlQ&list=PLx1QWYCXgu5l6fsbN3NwaskH8m88mf_8E&index=3 Now moving on to the other questions other people raised, and which you’d replied to, but you might have missed out certain points, which I’d like to draw your attention to. 1. On 3/31/2019 at 7:16 AM, BornAgainBrony said: “.........Would Equestria's oceans even have tides?” And you replied: “You should see a high tide at the sun and moon's highest peak at the exact same time every day and night with little to no change in the tide's height.” On the contrary, there is a slight indication that that is not the case. In the picture storybook Under the Sparkling Sea, the invitations states that the Annual Aquastria Race will officially begin after the First Moon Tide, implying that tides don’t occur on a daily basis, like you theorized. Before you dismiss this as non-canon, elements from this particular storybook have been alluded to in the IDW comics, which are B-canon, so I’m inclined to treat this as canon for all it’s worth. 2. On 4/1/2019 at 3:40 AM, R.D.Dash said: “...Canonically their planet is a sphere, so maybe it's just a tidaly locked?” And you replied: “Yup, that could work and it would explain why we always see the same face of the moon (like the 'mare in the moon' back in season 1 ). But if we were to assume Celestia raises and moves the sun, then we can't really have Equestria rotating....... But if the rotation of Equestria is very slow (which is likely since the moon is much smaller, making it difficult to move the much larger Equestria), then it probably wouldn't affect Celestia raising and lowering the sun (for example one rotation might be as long as 100 'days') and indeed Equestria would be tidal locked to the moon.” Except that we do see other phases of the moon. Luna’s cutie-mark is a crescent, indicating that that particular phase is present. Furthermore, in the IDW’s “Reflections” arc (Issues 17-20), Princess Luna wonders whether the moon is a “waxing crescent” or a “waning gibbons”, further strengthening the theory that moon phases do indeed exist in Equestria. And finally, the most important point: 3. On 4/5/2019 at 9:23 PM, SharpWit said: “Why doesn't Equestria rotate? Our sun rotates and has a tilt in it's axis, one that's smaller than the earth's but is present nonetheless, and this is despite being the center of our solar system. What's to say Equestria doesn't do the same? The difference here would be one rotation would be classified as a year rather than a day. The biggest problem with this model is it requires orbiting satellites to be going much faster than the central body. I'm not certain, but I think this would result in Equestria's sun and moon being flung out of orbit, and perhaps this is the saving grace of having the royal sisters present to reign them back in.” And you replied, “Hmm,that does seem to work. And as long as Equestria's rotation is slow enough, the duty of bringing force days and night still falls mainly on the two sisters. If it does take say 365 'days' for Equestria to rotate once, the difference in a length of a day would be negligible compared to the model where Earth doesn't rotate. Although I am not sure if it will bring the seasons though... I need to think about this a bit more. But yeah I agree that it could rotate and if it does bring the seasons, it will be a much more elegant model than what I was proposing in the previous reply. And it makes it easier to define a year as well! This. This right here is what I was looking for. You see, a group of people, including myself re putting together a rather exhaustive chronology of events – basically, a complete timeline taking into account not only the episodes, but also all the comic books, chapter books, mangas, picture storybooks – you name it. So far, we’ve managed quite well. But there’s one particularly crucial fact that, if we get wrong, could be disastrous. And that is, How long is a ‘moon’? So far we’ve come up with several values: · 1 moon = 1 lunar cycle = 27.3-29.5 days · 1 moon = 3.42 days (https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:RiceWaffleFox/How_long_is_a_%22moon,%22_anyways%3F) · 1 moon = 7 days or 14 days All of these values are determined considering the fact that Equestrai must have a lunar cycle. And tides. And seasonal changes. For our chronology, we’ve decided that: · Spring begins on the spring equinox ( 20 March) · Summer begins on the summer solstice ( 21 June) · Fall (autumn) begins on the Fall equinox ( 23 September) · Winter begins on the winter solstice ( 22 December) So, you see, there must be years and months. Preferably a year that has 365 days, just like ours. And lastly, does Equestria have a geocentric or a heliocentric solar system? What do you think about this? Link: https://www.deviantart.com/ahsokafan100/art/Equestria-Solar-System-618591164 Everything should fall into place if your theory could somehow explain these facts. I humly ask you this – could you please provide us with an answer? Somehow? It would be tremendously helpful! You have no idea how immensely grateful we would be!! Hoping for a positive response! - Dreamstar Moonlight
  11. @Starshine Sprinkles Hello Starshine Sprinkles! I must say, I was very impressed with what you’ve managed to put together! Yours and Auren Dawnstar’s work (https://www.deviantart.com/auren-dawnstar/art/MLP-Chronological-Timeline-636546794 ) has inspired me to create my own interpretation of the timeline, taking into account all the comments and arguments about questionable placement of certain episodes - but with some major changes, such as – (1) accounting for the actual dates on which the episodes occurred and fitting them into one year (2) including storylines and other material from the IDW comics, chapter books, mangas and other picture storybooks etc. Although doing so has led me to shuffle a majority of the episodes around to the extent that the episodes in my list do not take place in the same order as yours or Auren’s chronology. Also, I have decided to not interfere with the wording you and Auren originally used in your explanations, because your descriptions were so apt and beautifully worded. I have also followed Auren’s exact format of presenting the material (i.e. the episode/comic/storyline name, followed by ’major note’, ‘minor note(s), ‘special note’). I am nearly in the final stages of completing my work, and would like to post in on my DeviantArt page and other MLP related sites. I have credited the both you, of course, and also mentioned which bits I’ve left intact, and what extra material I have added. However, I would like to know if you are OK with it. I will only post my timeline when you give me permission to do so. I know you fell out of the fandom, because of the ‘update’ note you posted on this page, but it’s the right thing to do, isn’t it? Just because you’re no longer in the fandom doesn’t give me the right to plagiarize your hard work. Hoping for a positive response! Have a great day! - Dreamstar Moonlight
  12. hey, any chance the Season 8 episode "Molt Down" can be placed before "The Mean 6" , without continuity issues?
  13. AWESOME and FANTASTIC work! I couldn't have done a better job if I'd tried! I have two suggestions though: 1)It would be amazing if you could categorise these chronological episodes "Years" such as "Year 1 summer -->fall --> winter -->spring -->end of year 1" and so on.....(You can check out tthi link https://www.deviantart.com/auren-dawnstar/art/MLP-Chronological-Timeline-636546794) 2) I have also made a chronological order of the IDW comics and chapter books, keeping the season premieres and finales as fixed reference points. If I share my work with you, could you maybe include the events of the comics into your chronology? That would make your work literally the most exhaustive and extensive MLP chronology in existence! Please do consider the idea!
