Being stubborn and believing you can do something that you can't is something completely different to working so hard that you become delusional and struggle to jump on a target accurately, maybe, just maybe I'd accept your conclusion if this was over the course of a day, but from what I can see, it took a couple of days to do at the least, and if she got up one day not being able to even understand what people are asking her to do, thats not working hard, thats working yourself to death, I know some stubborn people but dying of exhaustion isn't being stubborn, its being outright dishonest But her element is literally magic, that like if a baker pony was too afraid to bake because she didn't want to look like a show off to her friends, EVERYONE knows your a baker, the sam as EVERYONE knows Twilight is the element of magic, being too afraid to isn't a character flaw, its just being stupid -
thats so sweet of you to ask @Splashee Throughout me and my boyfriend's relationship he'd always listen to brony music, pretty much everyday. I always thought these songs were just underground artists who I had never listened to, so I never questioned him on it, until I did. He was listening to this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfyeltLH5-E and I was really confused why it kept talking about ponies (even though other songs mentioned ponies, I never picked up on it) and I just thought 'Octavia' was a meaningless name of a girl so I asked him about why its talking about ponies, and he told me everything! MLP, bronies, the fandom, EVERYTHING! Lets just say, I was very surprised that I had been listening to songs about ponies for all of these years with him So I decided to watch the show from episode 1, and what do you know, I love it! Before you know it, I started drawing pony art and now I want to buy a plushies and I'm just getting completely immersed in pony culture I love it, seeing the ponies happy makes me so happy My boyfriends story is completely different, I'll tell it to you now More then 4 years ago he used to be REALLY into rap music, the real classics that were really intense, but one day, rather then just jamming out to the music, he decided to listen, to really listen to the lyrics, and thats when everything changed The lyrics were absolutely horrifying, talking about the most uncivilized and savage things that he stopped listening to rap completely. He looked at himself in the mirror and simply though, I'm no gangster - I should find something that's more positive and more like me (this is quite big btw, as him liking rap music was 1/2 of his personality) So what does he do? He gets into the most positive and light hearted show there is, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic I don't think he ever told me he was a brony because he finds nothing weird about it, he's just a fan - and thats all. Now he knows better then to attach his personality to a piece of media and thats why he has zero merch or anything, its just a show he thinks is good But I LOVE ITT!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but I just have to disagree, she was worked so hard that she struggled to even understand what Twilight was telling her, thats not 'trying your hardest' thats just being dishonest with your friends that you need help, if her becoming disillusioned with reality is just her 'working hard', she needs some serious help because thats not right Furthermore, the point I'm trying to get at is Applejack shouldn't just be 'honest', she needs to be honest to the highest degree (like Pinkie is fun to the most extreme) or else a pony who's been planning her revenge for over thousand years got beat by a kind of honest pony, which makes it really underwhelming and makes you wonder if any six ponies could've done it Same as my last point, she HAS to be SO good at magic that she gets the element of magic, if not, why doesn't rarity have the element of magic? or fluttershy? All her friends should know that she's so good that she's worthy of the element of magic, so her being afraid just made no sense

All I have to say is, GUYS I THOUGHT YOU HAD A PLAN IF THE DRAGON LEAVES HIS CAVE!!!! But luckily Fluttershy was there to save the day and tell that dragon that he had to go Overall a good episode, I loved how applejack was so nice to fluttershy, and for some reason I find Pinkie constantly beating Rarity at tic tac toe hilarious

She doesn't want to tell her friends that she needs help, you must remember that if she cant even tell her friends that she needs help then 1. she isn't actually that honest, and if thats the case, it makes applejack way less special as a character because any pony who tells the truth once could've been the element of honesty 2. If she's not actually that honest, then nightmare moons defeat is not even that special, if she's been waiting to take over the land for over a thousand years and yet get beats by a pony that is only 'slightly' honest, then why are we following these ponies adventures, their elements aren't even that personal to them Overall, I've already wrote that this would've been better suited for Rarity Yet, at minimum all her friends knows she's the element of magic, meaning that she should be quite good at it - yet she's embarrassed that she's good at magic? She is the element of magic, I'm sure that means she's a good at magic, if thats not the case applejack should be the element of magic too

Definitely a good start, not enough to get you hooked, but definitely a good start. Seeing the cute ponies but good writing at the same time sets up a stage where you understand that yes, it is a show about little ponies, but if you stick around, the writing will get better and better Although, if it was my decision, I'd have twilight already know the rest of the mane six (for some reason, has to stay in Ponyville for a couple of months) and this be the last episode of S1, as they each are shown to posses a certain element, but the episodes following applejack can't be honest? (applebuckseason) and Twilight doesn't want to show off her magic? (Boat busters) Thats literally they're elements, they should be quite strong or else the defeat of nightmare moon isn't as significant!

I've only just finished S1 so I might not be the best person to ask for my opinion but I kind of dislike her but like her at the same time I don't like her because she is often rude, and sometimes brings no value as a friend to the rest of the mane six, but, she is very honest I think I'd like her much more as a character if she was the element of honesty, not loyalty. Without her element being honesty, she's just being insensitive, rather then painfully honesty -
C'mon everyone, we all know my Rarity is the best pony! She is elegant, classy, charming and most importantly, a good friend Not to forget, she's absolutely gorgeous! Most 'pretty' girls are really just meanies, but Rarity is different, she knows that true style comes from the outside and the inside, because she is beautiful inside and out

Okay, I figured it out. The best way to describe this emoji is "honesty". No matter what you say, it always looks pure and serious at the same time. But if used in a negative sentence, it gets creepy. But it's always honest with you.
Uhm, I don't want to worry you. But after a while, I start having negative thoughts. Like...it feels like everything I do is pointless and that no one cares about me. My name is cloudy after all.
For example...I was thinking about what I could write in my profile. But instead of adding things, I cleared everything (besides friend list <3)... Because in my head, I always think it's pointless and no one would care what I write there. Same with conversations. I'm an introvert. When I talk to people, no one has any gain from it. I don't work, I don't produce, I don't enjoy it. It doesn't feel meaningful. At least not that often. It feels like wasted time after some point. I mean it is, when I don't enjoy it. Maybe it's the topics, most things are so boring and uninteresting to me. I feel more like an adventurer, I always want to experience new things! .png ":)")
So basically doing the same things for too long gets repetitive. Yeah, that's probably the gist of it.
And it has nothing to with our conversations.
When I start to become friends with someone, everything changes and it is ALWAYS exciting! Because I'm on the same wavelength with those people. Just getting to this point is difficult for me. But there is nothing I can do about it, it's my nature.
So, really nothing to worry about, I feel fantastic! Just need some alone time for a while. Friends and mail stuff is awesome, though. I have some others also in my Discord from here~

Okay, so I'll admit, when I first watched the episode I didn't like Trixie. Although the Mane 6 didn't give her much time to do her actual magic! (you never know, she could've just been exciting the crowd) But after watching it again its obvious to see that Trixie is just a poor pony who has faced many struggles in her life So even though her lying isn't good, we all need to remember that she just needs help, not punishment Although, Twilight, what WHAT ARE YOU DOING! I think she must've bumped her head in the morning because YOU'RE LITERALLY THE ELEMENT OF MAGIC, WHY ARE YOU SCARED THAT EVERYONE WILL CALL YOU A SHOW OFF!!!! -

This one was so silly! Even though I'm okay with the plot not having to make 100%, this one was a little too silly for me, why couldn't she have just told them that the flowers would make them go funny the next day!! I can't say I didn't like it, but its definitely got to be the worse episode in season 1, but you know, there was also apple bloom so it equals out

Okay everypony, I want to hear your controversial opinions! They can be on anything, I'll start off - Gaming as a source for fun has gotten worse and worse over the years to the point where I no longer play video games Why do I think this? I used to play a lot of video games when I was younger and a game would take me a suitable amount of time to complete, maybe 2-3 weeks. Now, games take at least 5 months to complete, and that's not an exaggeration! On paper, video games are getting better and better, better graphics, better soundtracks, longer gameplay but thats not a good thing! Like all things that don't make money, they should be time killers, not time eaters! Every art should have a line where it stops, yes, a painting might be great but I don't want to stare at it for 2 weeks! And it's the same for video games! By needing to play hours on end to just get to the "middle" of the game isn't fun, its homework. Modern games are extremely vast now, with there being 100 levels, 1000 missions and 10000 accomplishments! and then they have the audacity to update the game and add new content!!! The biggest problem of all of this is simple, the games aren't bad! Yet, with the over saturation of good games that came out like years ago and people are still just completing them, you end up buying a game, playing it for a week, and before you know it, another masterpiece has come out! The solution is simple, cut the price and shorten the game! To make it easy to see, I'd much rather have a lot of little diverse meals, then a whole roast chicken every hour. So until then, you can consider this girl done with gaming

This episode was a very strange one to me It's an episode that showed me that the show was generally going to be high quality but something about the plot just seemed a bit weird to me I think this episode would've been much better suited for Rarity, making too many dresses then she can handle or something, directly referring to her element and its negatives if over used (just because you're generous, doesn't mean you shouldn't forget about yourself!) But Applejack is the element of HONESTY!!! She's supposed to be so honest that she can use it to defeat Nightmare Moon, so what happened between those few weeks??? I haven't even finished Season 1 but I am now fully convinced in the idea that Rainbow Dash and Applejack should swap their elements! Although, I did find this episode funny, watching it a few times just for the joke about the zoo, idk why its so funny to me
