She literally did nothing wrong in her first appearance, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity acted like complete losers for no reason. Though they seem to be pretty good at that.

This episode reminds me why I don't like Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity.

nah, it's the mlp universe, it simply isn't supposed to be that dark.

I kind of have a weird theory. It seems like the world was modeled after earth, because of the fact that the cities like Manehattan are named after real places. However, I think that Equestria is a weird sort of parallel universe to earth, where there are ponies instead of humans. Just a weird thought. I never actually really thought about it in depth before.
I really don't like what this implies. The idea that ponies are really just humans with different bodies is very absurd. They're their own separate species. This gives off the same feeling as thinking it's a parellel universe to Earth just because the names of locations are ponified versions of themselves, it isn't that deep.

For villains that were turned to stone or banished, I think those are fine, I do think that's as far as an extreme punishment would go in the MLP universe, plus they can be freed or unbanished in the future for redemption. Though the way it was handled in The Ending of the End was pretty bad. Now for villains like Sombra, Mean 6, and Storm King, those in my opinion were a bit too much. Their "defeats" made them look like they died, which doesn't at all seem like something the ponies would do to someone.
also the timberwolves from spike at your service, but that episode was ass so i'm not counting it

We have seen them show fear and self preservation acts, but that does not truly show they have a mind, and are not operating on some instinctual level. We saw several of them shattered and rebuild themselves into the mega-timberwolf, which itself was destroyed... but what happened after that, we don't know. Did it die? Reform and head back into the woods? Reform into smaller forms and return to the woods?
Yeah, why is that never explained? Are we just supposed to assume they died? That doesn't sound right as I doubt any of the ponies (and spike) would be okay with killing.

nah bro they dead lmao
but seriously though, seeing as how characters like sombra are (supposedly) returning, it wouldn't surprise me.
people are saying they don't want them to return since it would defeat the purpose of G5, but come on, you know you want to see them again in some official capacity.

Since the movie was basically about bringing friendship back together, how would you like about the show being closer to G3, but still keeping the spirit of G4? The episodes would mainly be about exploring the personalities, interests, and relationships of the main characters. The only kinds of antagonists being more akin to Trixie, Flim Flam brothers, and Iron Will, and not having any real villains. It still having writing quality that would appeal to fans of the previous show. It could still have two parter episodes with more of a plot, but only with medium stakes. Would you watch the G5 show if it was like that?
Honestly, I wish that's how it was, and it seemed to start out that way before the end of Season 2/start of Season 3.

If we're going by Season 1 and 2, I personally see the Mane Six in their early to mid twenties, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie are likely the youngest, possibly around 18 - 20.
The CMC I'd say are around 7 - 10.
-
The CG for the timberwolves really doesn't hold up well, don't see what was wrong with their designs in Season 2.
On the topic of timberwolves, anyone else ever found it odd how nonchalant the characters were about destroying the them? The timberwolves show signs of sentience, and one of them literally chokes to death.
Fluttershy isn't gonna like this one...

yeah.
make the show not try hard to be dark, that's what the fandom is for.

Pretty sure Twilight and her friends are just legends/myths in the G5 universe, I don't think they're actually a part of G5's world.
-
she doesn't throw jarate at people so no

Honestly, yeah a bit. Since Unicorn Twilight is from Season 1 - 2 and that's my favorite era of FiM. Not that the later seasons are bad, I've always just liked the first two the most.

All of them. But seriously though, flat out killing someone is really out of character for... anybody in this show really, besides the villains.
Seems pretty messed up to spare some of the villains and then with ones like Sombra or the Storm King they're just like "nah die lmao".
