Lol, but in all seriousness, it's a matter of curiosity. Who would win in a war? Who is more mighty?
Well, true strength is strength of character, which the characters in the show show a lot more of than humans, seemingly, anyways. But people are more interested in warfighting ability.
You have to admit some curiosity...

Think about it, they have the ability to raise/set the sun and moon, what can they NOT do?

Upon re-watching the "best night ever" episode, I've noticed that a lot of unicorns' cutie marks heavily resembled to Twilight's "magic". That got me confused, I mean, she is the incarnation of magic herself, shouldn't she be the only one with the mark?

Overrated is a subjective term, you may like the other shows more than MLP:FiM, but you do not represent the entire fan base.
Like I never understand why the Diablo series is so popular, from my point of view, it's just an action/strategy RPG with bad story writing, but people are crazy for it. Is the Diablo series really overrated? Only to me.
