The Ralph Bakshi animated movie, "Wizards" Firstly, I know that this movie is set on a post apocalyptic far future Earth, but that's not the focus for this what-if idea. It's more the focus on the "Magic vs Technology" aspect of the movie and also have a conflict in which the ponies of ponyland end up witnessing the dark aspects of Humanity. The Dark aspects of Megan's kin, like the villain of the plot would be mostly be similar to BlackWolf... Except where he got those pieces of such advanced technology (at least "advanced" according to pony standards), he didn't get them from ancient ruins, he instead stole the technology from Megan's world. Sent spies and minions to steal military technology from the Human world and plans to use it to conquer Ponyland and eventually wage war against mankind. And thus begins a war over the fate of Ponyland Now imagine how the ponies would react and view Megan once it become clear that this "Dark" magic came from the hand of her species. How they would react when they find out what Human faction this villain just like BlackWolf is basing his regime upon: So how do you think the ponies are going to view Megan when they learn all of this evil came from her race. The fact that her race were the ones that crafted the weapons that this villain is now wielding and the ideology he has adopted being one thought up from Human minds.

Could a location like this fit into the setting of Generation 1?

the other challenge would be the justification of the existence of the robots.. now imagine how much of a pain in the @$$ it would be to animate the collapse scene in G1's style. -

though imagine Megan and a small group of ponies exploring the castle in the abandoned and overgrown state it was in the movie, not to mention giving the "Heart of Laputa"... some sort of connection with the Heart of Ponyland. like it's intrinsically connected to Ponyland in some faint shape or form. -

imagine an adaptation of "Castle in the Sky" as a G1 movie/special or rather early studio ghibli movies as G1 specials or movies -
A floating city similar to Laputa from both Miyazaki film, Castle in the Sky and the original Gulliver's Travels? Choosing to show concept art of it because it would look different if a version of it if it was adapted into the pony world. Does it at all look like it could fit into the art style and the mood of the series? A place Megan and the other ponies could go on an adventure to?

An Anti-Education song in a High-School setting... The context for it's inclusion would be as follows: Imagine ending up in the Human world, finding out your high and prestigious position in your world is downgraded to the lowly position as a student of some random high school there and then hating this change in roles so much with such white hot anger and lividity that you start daydreaming about the school being an oppressive regime that enslaves the students and then said students rebelling against the teachers and faculty and then burning said high school to the ground. Would this kind of song fit in a High School setting or AU?

As in.. Basically, Sombra hears of the existence of the Human World and seeing it as a much greater conquest than Equestria, invades it with the intent of conquering Humanity and bloating his numbers with mind controlled Human soldiers. Meanwhile For Equestria, the objective shifts from Defending Equestria to saving humanity as the follow Sombra's forces into the Human world with the intent of stopping Sombra's plan to enslave Humanity abd rescue or even fight alongside Humans in order to stop him. So pretty much, what is your timeline of events for this scenario?

Making it Anime-esque that is, inspired by fights in certain Anime series, particularly final battles of the dragon ball kind. Like it having instrumental rock or metal background music, over-the-top dialogue and attacks involving beams and energy balls, and a final attack that completely vaporizes the remaining villains rather than turns them to stone. I'm not really sure how this would have affected the viewing age since 'm not sure Hasbro would know if the target demographic is familiar with anime

Presumable as he grows in power, the more magic he absorbs, conventional modern warfare would be rendered useless as he'd be able to tank shells, bombs, missiles, and bullets, thus forcing the use of the Nuclear option to be used against him. So could Tirek be able to survive against a Nuclear Explosion? Especially if it's against a nuclear device comparable to the USSR's Tsar Bomba (100 megatons).

In the series, Sombra was inspired by and an expy of Sauron from the Lord of the Rings movies and books, but how different would the narrative and course Friendship is Magic be if instead of Sauron, he was based on this villain instead of Sauron? something decidedly more . . . Lovecraftian. His motives for conquering Equestria and the planet it's on? this video should give one an idea of his motives if he took on this form:

Particularly with King Sombra. Making sure that narcissist, selfish, and arrogant shadow being doesn't run off and conquer equestria on his own the nanosecond he is revived as well as ensuring he cooperates in your team whether he likes it or not. How would you force him into compliance and makes sure he doesn't run off like an idiot? This version including the Storm King as well. How would you keep him in line as well as force him into cooperation?

As any of you who have read the comics know, the Thracians and their tyrannical King wanted to conquer Equestria to prove that friendship is weakness. The strategy being to essentially launch a terrorist attack to destroy the friendship between both ponies and other races and then move in and commit genocide. As in this motherfucker: He legit ordered his daughter to launch a terrorist attack so he can carry out a genocidal conquest of equestria. So to any that have read the comics, would Diomedes have been successful if he actually did carry out his conquest or would Equestria have wiped Thracia off of the face of Equus?

What place would a Technocracy have in the world beyond Equestria.
Jerry246 replied to Jerry246's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I could imagine Equestria would be wary of this kind of nation the possibility that despite being neutral for the most part, they still have the capacity to easily conquer Equestria if they wanted to or if someone with villainous intent took it over. Having to keep an eye on it incase it started getting ambitious ideas. -
Because Equestria itself would never want to become one. Technocracy is a form of government in which the decision-maker or makers are selected based on their expertise in a given area of responsibility, particularly with regard to scientific or technical knowledge. So what niche would it fill in the world of Equus and how would it be portrayed if such a place debuted either in the show or the comics? Would it be good or would it be evil?

Either killing or torturing the human counterparts of Alicorn sisters (Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna) and for Sombra and Chrysalis's case, the human counterparts of the Royal Family of the Crystal Empire (Principal Cadence, Alumnus Shining Armor and Flurry Heart) because of course they're evil enough to kill a defensless human infant onscreen. The reasons here being that the difference here is that have absolutely no magic to defend themselves, making them potential punching bags for these villains who would sadistically torment them as a way of venting their rage and hatred towards their Equestrian counterparts on them as well as the satisfaction of seeing the object of their hatred destroyed in the form of the death or suffering of their human counterpart. Acting out a revenge fantasy so to speak. If I were a villain invading that world and saw the defenseless and weak human counterpart of a ruler that hold a great amount of hatred towards, of course i'd capture and torture them to death. The fact that they have no magic makes the torment much more satisfying. As for the human counterparts, i cannot fathom the immense amount of physical and mental suffering of being a villain's personal stress toy, especially when they do the same to loved ones.
