Shes probably gonna be redeemed eventually, but i hope it wont be too early. I like the idea of a really evil villian with a henchman who isnt really evil but along for the ride, might be secretly friends with the m5.

Not really, My belief in god wains in every year, as the passing few years with their cruel events makes it seem unrealistic. Spirituality? Yeah probably exists to some degree but an actual god? Nah. I wouldnt call myself a atheist though.

we visted my grandma and other releatives today. It was a bit awkward sincce wwe havent seen each other in awhile and i wanted to do something else but i knew i owed my grandma a visit

I love the idea of red eyes on a pony but the it doesnt fit with her, so purple is a clear decision

I think i prefer shimmer for her overall character arc feeling more complete. Both are really good characters, wish we saw more of glimmer in eqg and sunset in equestria

Uh, Its alright i guess. The movie was a great introduction and the shorts were better than expected.The special was a little lackluster and lacked substance but it shows they have a plan going with the show forward. The comics and game seem promising

He gave prison sentences to the animals, i wonder if hes not going to be as forgiving to sprout as i thought

While I'm never downright upset, seeing AJ cry means stuff went down, as she's not prone to showing her soft side much (that's not a bad thing!)

Being fans of both properties I compared these two shows (that are both new takes on ip that are releasing on netflix). Both have new voice actors, Sonic is just for the show (due to canada) and MYM is just the new vas we will have for quite some time. Both sound good but may take some getting used to. The animation for mym Looks well made but is stiff, especially zipps flying. Sonic animation while is fluid and expressive, Has some odd shots like this. We haven't seen much but we can wait until both shows are released to really go in depth. Another footnote is that sonic prime has alot of mlp actors like ashleigh ball, brian drummond, and vincent tong,

Usually im more into comic books these days, but i still love cartoons, some of my favorites off the top of my head are Spongebob Avatar  TF Animated Rockos modern life and Gravity Falls. Ive been up to date with the new seasons of Owl house and Amphibia and cant believe the latter is ending in a month!

Netflix but as thats no longer an option one of the dedicated mlpn piracy sites

Neat episode! gives me mlp tales vibes. The song is good, i like the background singer designs and it really shows off pipps character. Also if phylis is here, then sprouts grand reapperance can't be far off

The old bronies looking back seem to not like it cause it has little to offer them compared to g4 and g1. Something i see recently is that all the new wave of adult fans that grew up with g4 are appreciating the older gens g3 included. My theory is that they stumbled upon those old gens while looking for g4 and learned to appreciate it. Me personally i am a new fan but grew up with neither. But while rewatching things from my childhood like the bayformers movies which you could argue are objectively bad ive learned that those are still made to entertain you and that is its main purpose, not neccesarily tell a story but to entertain you. g3 falls into this category and i like it as a result. Not a big fan of ponyville g3 tho

If sprout is on the run i hope we get a episode soley to him where he fends to himself and the forces of nature, like that one star vs episode with ludo. What if he comes across the other equestrian creatures like dragons or griffons and turns them against ponykind? or maybe he reawakens a g4 villan like sombra the mean 3 etc

As for sprouts fate i will say this, That wanted poster could also just mean he needs to go to trial or that hitch just misses him. I dont think he should go the prison as that is cruel but he should do some rehab or community service. Have sunny wanna give him "friendship lessons" but one of the other m5 stop her and note that he still needs to apologize and go through punishments. Minor ones cause i stilll think his actions were caused by pressure on his mom society and him wanting to be sheriff. I dont want him to go through character regression like starlight discord and any other g4 show "redeemed character"

As for the starlight discussion shes just a symptom or victim of a much bigger problem in the show like i said,, character regression. they obviously wanted to showcase her reliance on magic and wanted to show her lighten up on it but again like discord character regression. Shes and discord are still  very entertaining characters to me pre and post redemptions and half the things in ring teams photo are either exaggerations, reasonanable when you think about it or very small things

Interesting! I like some of the smaller idea like starswirl being the two sisters surrogate father and alicorns being folklore already before celestia. I wonder why the tree didnt make the m6 alicorns when it saw them. also i presume the voice is the trees spirit? if this was before twilight what would it be? ig starswirl as he was mentor to celestia and luna like how twilight was to the y6

1.) The witty and relatable tone of the show was refreshing for the franchise, and for shows at the time. Also, it was the time when the show's impact on the world started.

2.) The lessons and interactions in the episodes were heartfelt.

It was made clear that the talented people who were making it put their hearts into it, and had a good idea of how to handle the cheesiness.

3.) The show was like an open, clean book that just had so much creativity to be placed in it. It was the same for the Fandom at the time.

Yeah that makes sense, plus the artstyle is very appealing. Plus for that 3rd reason corresponds with the shows declining popularity after the movie, the world was very fleshed out an now the fandoms popularity is reinvigorated with g5 feeling like an open canvas
