  1. Thanks Wrote it in notes first, hadn’t realized the font change.
  2. My little pony a new generation Theory Simply put, it’s not Equestria. Given all the missing things like every location and species found in FIM, the easiest explanation is that it’s a different world. The existence of other worlds has already been proven thanks to equestria girls so it wouldn’t be to out there for there to be others. So here’s what I think happened that lead to where the new generation is. Ponies in equestria discover this new world and decide to explore it, but they find out magic doesn’t work in that world. Someone, maybe Twilight, creates a new relic, the crystals, so that ponies can use their magic in this new world (bonus: the crystal is powered by friendship) Powered by the crystals, the ponies start to colonies the new world, but uh oh, something happens. For some, yet unknown, reason, they lose contact with equestria and end up stranded in this new world. Without the guidance of a some pony like the princess of friendship the ponies start to revert back to their less then friendly ways. The crystal, not liking this, either stops working or maybe even reacting negatively, forcing the ponies to take it apart. To avoid increasing conflicts the three pony races part ways, each taking a piece of the crystal and begin to avoid each other. The status quo stays the same until Sunny comes along. This theory makes the most sense to me because it solves a bunch of the questions the new movie created. Why do the ponies need the crystal to use magic? Why are their only three, relatively small, town/kingdoms? Where are all the other races from equestria? Where are the princesses? How does the moon and sun work without a princess? Where are all the other locations from equestria, no ruins, nothing? Windigoes where? The new world theory allows there to be a bunch of new and different stuff all while still having it technically connected to FIM. What do you guys think? Yay or nay?
