      Accidentally fell asleep so I didn't have time to write out my blog like planned.

      A basic preview is that the Pegasi are of the air, the earth ponies are of nature and the unicorns are of mind.

      Alicorns themselves are ones who have mastered all three at some point in their lives and proven themselves worthy to lead others. (Assuming dark magic isn't involved of course).
